I’m tall and this dress was the perfect length for me at 5’10”, I feel the skirt might overwhelm a more petite woman.

This dress is amazing! Loved the fit, it's comfortable, the material is comfortable and quality and the eyelet detail on the hem makes it all the more beautiful. It's perfect for the office, dinner, or a "wear all black" event. I would rate 10 stars for this one for sure!

The material is stretchy, so although the fit is true to size, if you were nervous about it being a little too small, you should be okay. The material is thick enough to keep you a little warmer in your air-conditioned office, but not too thick where everyone else will notice and wonder why you're wearing it when you're outside on a summer day.

Loved this dress and would rent again! Definitely listen to the other reviewers and rent a size down from your typical "small" size because it is very stretchy material! It was extremely flattering and work appropriate.

It's really hard to find the perfect dress to say goodbye to a loved one, and it's really hard to find a good funeral dress. But this is it. Of course you could wear for a lot of other occasion types. It does run small but it is stretchy. Fits in all the right places. Super classy, perfect length (which I usually struggle with since I'm short). Gorgeous detailing. Will likely be renting this one again.

So easy to wear. So comfortable. Looks so polished. I wore this to a post wedding brunch and got tons of compliments. Probably could have sized down one more because the material has lots of give. If you have a brunch or baby shower, bridal shower, etc to attend, it's a perfect fit.

Runs REALLY large

I wore this for a funeral and as someone who’s 5’3 it hit right below the knee. Waist is flattering without being too tight. Worn with 4 inch heels and was perfect amount of skin.

Beautiful dress that is perfect for a formal occasion or funeral. The material is thick and yet very stretchy so that it gives you a perfect fit. It isn't too tight, but it hugs your body just right and is very flattering. I think it could fit many different body types well. It's modest and elegant, with some extra fun added in the detailing along the bottom. I will defintely rent again.

A little fitted through the middle - not great for a little tummy. Looked very polished with a black blazer for work but was a bit preppy and too much black with the jacket so ultimately did not wear. Pretty, TTS

Very flattering, comfortable dress. I am petite (5'2, approx 125 lbs) and the size 1 was perfect! It's a great dress. If I were make one slight negative observation it's that the dress is just a wee smidgen too long. But still looks fabulous with a great pair of heels.

Fits like a glove. I'm very curvy with a small waist and this dress is so flattering. Wearing it for my first day back from mat leave - hides the extra weight well! It's a formal dress so also great for a wedding or cocktail party

I got this dress on a whim and ended up wearing it to work. the detail at the bottom is super cute. I will say it's a little longer and i'm 5'9.

Loved this dress. I ordered a size 5, I am between a 10 and 12 and should have gotten a 4. It was large but I loved the dress so much I still wore it twice before returning. Very classy, great dress for work as is or can be jazzed up with jewelry and shoes.

Comfortable good fit

I wore this for a fundraiser I hosted. It was dressy but easy to run around in as I was all over the place managing the fundraiser.

Ted Baker does not run big- it has a totally different sizing system altogether! Pay attention to the size chart and you should get a dress that looks amazing! This dress was comfortable, cute, and classy! Tons of compliments at work!

Rented this and wore it to a work event! Pairs well with tights and heels or tights and black boots for more casual. Fits really well! Nice fabric. I don't love the exposed zipper down the back but still overall great dress!
