I loved this dress because I wasn't too sure how casual the bridal shower I went to was going to be. This dress was very versatile in that regard--it can definitely be dressed up or down however you like. I was very comfortable with the 6. It was a tad tight in the hips, but the 8 looked like a bag around my waist. I wore some spanx and that pretty much took care of the hip issue.

I loved the silky fabric, but it did wrinkle a little bit. Really only an issue if you're planning to sit a lot. The length was perfect for my height. You can wear regular bra which is always nice. It's great for dancing. I have broader shoulders and slimmer hips and the 4 fit perfectly.

GREAT dress for my bridal luncheon. I didn't want just a white dress. This still stood out, and was extremely flattering. The material doesn't stretch at all, but the sizing was right on. I wanted to keep it!!

The dress was amazing! My hips are a little larger than the rest of my body so it was a bit tight around my hips. Otherwise it fit like a glove. The fabric is very soft and stretch... to a certain extent. The design on the outer edge is not stitched onto the material but printed on it. There is nothing that was uncomfortable about this dress. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who would like to rent it. It was perfect for a wedding, it was conservative but form fitting and not too short but enough to keep it interesting.

Sleek, professional, yet fun

I rented this dress very last minute after my first rental option did not fit. RTR literally over night mailed this one to the hotel I was staying at, and saved the day! I found the dress very true to size. A lot of reviewers complained about it being tight in the chest, but this wasn't a problem for me at a 36B cup. The size 10 also had plenty of room through the midsection on me. It wasn't a form fitting, shape hugging dress, but was still very flattering with the detailing along the side and through the middle. I loved the little cap sleeve. I am very tall, so the dress was shorter on me so I paired it with black opaque tights for more coverage. I received a ton of compliments and felt great in it! Comfortable, easy to wear dress that stands out amongst the other LBD's.

I went to the Henri Bendel RTR boutique and tried on some other dresses before this one. I am so thankful that my stylist found this, it's SO comfortable and easy to wear. I paired the dress with simple black open toe heels and a clutch from RTR.

I really liked this dress. I wore it with my long black blazer and it was perfect for an evening wedding. The dress is snug, so shape wear is definitely recommended.

This dress is really great. I wore it for my best friend's rehearsal dinner. Very flattering and pretty true to size, though a little tight in the hips/stomach so would size up if that's a trouble area for you. I normally wear a 0-2 in Tibi so that's why I say it runs a bit small. Great pattern and so much you can do with accessories to dress it up or down.

Wore the 8 It fit well on the top but snug on the bottom. The 10 had more room in the hip area but Too large on top

Ordered the 6 which is my usual size. Ended up westing the alternate size 8. Fit snug, but comfortable.

I wore this dress for the rehearsal dinner of my cousin's wedding. It was a like, not a love. I am 5'9" and it is a bit short. Also the dress wrinkles somewhat easily when you sit down, so if you want to look perfectly polished all night, I don't recommend it. Since it was just for the rehearsal dinner, it worked just fine, but if I had ordered for the actual wedding, I would have been disappointed. The best part of the dress is the design that makes your figure look super slim!

The dress is beautiful and hugs in all the right places. It is short but not too short and tight but not too tight; it is the perfect wedding guest dress: classy and sexy. It is a bit snug on the hips and chest so curvier girls beware. The best part about this dress was that it wasn't my original selection. I found my original dress to not be wedding appropriate. I was working 15 hour days and had no time to select a new dress so Madison (RTR rep) sent me several styles that were available and had it shipped out the second I approved. On an even bigger note, the bracket I had originally rented was broken on arrival and Madison sent THREE pieces of additional jewelry to wear with my new dress, free of charge and way more than my bracelet rental. I will be a RTR fan for life!!

Fits really well - true to size. However, I thought the white design would be stitched onto the dress, not printed. Should've done more research.. Made the dress more casual/day dress and the wedding was black tie. Prob should've gone with a long dress, but still totally cute. And it was comfortable!

Great dress, the only problem i find with designer gowns is the lack of room for anyone with a bust. I had to go without a bra which was fine, but always a little uncomfortable for someone over a B cup.

I rented this for a semi-formal gala that I was unsure how other people would be dressed. I ended up not wearing it, only because I found and bought another dress prior to the event. I ended up wearing this to work with black tights and flat boots. Pros: Fit my body style (petite) very well, nice material (a little sheen, and a bit thin/silky). Just the right length, i.e. not too short or too long (but I'm 5'2"). Cons: The only con was that I didn't think it had a big "wow" factor. It's a great dress and I'd be happy to have it in my closet, but the fact I could get away with wearing it to work and not looking out of place sort of keeps it at "nice dress" not "amazing dress" levels. There's no slit in the back so your movements are a little restricted (not bothersome though) Overall I really liked it and would certainly recommend it to someone who is looking for a nice, safe dress to wear to an event- corporate event, wedding, etc.

The fit is on the tighter side but it's a beautiful formal dress. I really liked the white paisly pattern on the dress and thought this was a beautiful detail. I would have never picked this dress out on my own so props to my showroom stylist for picking this one out!

The dress was beautiful! I wanted to keep it. I wore it for my sorority formal and felt neither under nor overdressed. I was worried that it would be too long (most things are), but the length was perfect. It was a bit big at the neck and waist and a little tight in the chest area but not noticeably. The fabric was lightweight and comfortable! I'm usually between a 00 and a 0, which is why I said that the dress runs true to size.

The dress was perfect and I received so many compliments on it! I could have worn the 6 (I ordered two sizes) but it was a little snug on my butt so I went with the 8.

The dress was big up top and tight around my hips and butt. I rented a 2 and 4 and I went with the 4. I have this problem with some designers because i have a big butt. I ended up wearing a black cardigan over the dress to conceal the bagginess and bunching in the back up top. The fabric has a little give but not much.

Didnt get to wear it- read the reviews so ordered a 2 and 4 and even though its more of a shift dress the 2 was still too big

This dress is even prettier in person. The pattern is very striking, yet very feminine. The silk didn't wrinkle all night, a big plus! Yet, the dress ran smaller in the chest than normal (usually a 2, but wore the 4). Also, it is a bit short. So if you are looking for a more modest length, definitely go up a size.

The dress runs slightly larger, but the overall fits is great. I ordered both size 0 and 2. Both did fit, but I chose to wear the 2 because it felt more comfortable. The dress overall is absolutely fabulous. Highly recommended.

I wore this for a "career moment" party. I paired it with nude heels and a black Theory tailored jacket (but I live in southern California so I took of the coat a lot). This dress made me feel confident, appropriately sexy (the waist detail accentuates/makes waists look smaller), and stylish without looking like I tried too hard. The cap sleeves were really cute, but if you wear this to a wedding or anything where you intend to lift your hands a lot, be careful because there isn't a lot of "give" and the dress could get short very quickly (clearly, I am an awesome dancer...).

Loved this dress. It was true to size. I have a smaller bust and it fit great but would not recommend with someone with a larger bust. The material does not stretch. It was short but I wore tights and flats instead of heels. The material is almost silk so because I wore tights it kept sticking to me from the static. It looked great. I got many compliments and would definitely rent again.

The cut is a little boxy and the material doesn't give. I wear a 34 DDD so the 10 was a little small on my bust so I decided to wear the 12 to be able to breathe and eat. Wore it to an anniversary dinner. Just fancy enough to make it special and look nice but not over the top. The pattern is slimming and elegant.

This dress was just as expected - true to size without any surprises. I rented a 2 and 4 and went with the 2. I do agree with other reviewers in that the dress is quite short when seated. I'm pretty short at 5'2" so it's something I'm not used to and a fit issue I rarely encounter! It wasn't that bad in the end but still something to be aware of just in case you're renting this dress to meet your future mother in law for the first time or something :)

I worn it for a wedding rehearsal and it served the purpose. The material does not look expensive but it's a pretty dress.

Turns out, the dress is a touch short for work occasions when you sit down, which I had to do on a high stool in front of an audience. Yikes. But standing, or for non-work occasions, this is a comfortable, easy, cool dress. It's not at all tight in the middle, but still flattering.

This was my second choice and I only got it in one size. If I had gotten it in a 2, it would have been perfect. I wore the 4 because I didn't have another option, but the fit was a bit looser than I would have liked. It is a beautiful dress and didn't wrinkle at all.
