Cool concept, size WAY down
First things first, go two sizes down. I wear an 8 and rented an XS. It is an oversized fit, but you can style it to give it some structure. The second thing I would point out is the shoulder flaps. Yes, flaps. Unless you shorten the length of the sleeves and button the flaps on to the sleeve, they just hang there, and friends will try to fix it, because it does look idd. I wore it as a short sleeve coat and let the sleeves of my shirts show. Third, to give the body of the coat more structure I folded the lapels of the coat back and buttoned them to the buttons on the same side of the coat. This reduced the amount of fabric showing so it didn't look so oversized. Overall, I like the coat and would probably rent it again, but finding styling solutions to the quirkiness and fit of it is a must.

Classic coat
This is a beautiful and classic coat. Great coat to elevate an everyday look. It's supposed to be oversized but it runs really big. I would normally be a medium and I sized down to small and it was still pretty big. I would say size down two sizes if you want an oversized look without swimming in it.

Still Huge in XS
The XS is huge, even for a loose look. I typically do M for outerwear.

Truly massive trench
I love oversized coats, so I thought I was safe sizing down to a small based on the other reviews. Totally wrong! This coat is truly enormous and - critically - impossible to truly cinch at the waist because one side of the belt is sewn into the coat. Super bummed about this one, couldn’t even wear it.

HUGE
Everything about this jacket was massive. I expected it to be oversized but I looked like toddler wearing her mothers jacket. I couldn't even wear it.

Unflattering
Thin and unflattering shape, a trench should be a bit boxy and rigid, this was more like a raincoat.
