This was technically a backup dress, but I loved it the moment I put it on so it's what I ended up wearing for my baby shower. I was 7 months pregnant and had a 31" underbust measurement, fitting into 34D/36C Target bras. Since the dress is backless I wore a sticky nubra-type bra with it; the bra was a little small on me and didn't have the best shape since most of those sticky bras don't do well with large busts. But luckily the fabric of the dress was on the thicker side, and crisp enough that it had a lot of structure and held its own over my temporarily funny-shaped breasts. I had rented the Medium size after reading some reviews from women of similar sizes as me, but found that the Medium dress was quite loose around the (high) waistline. I had to ask someone to pin a lot of the fabric at the back, near where the back straps met the dress. I covered the pinned area with the belt but my mom still noticed that I had pinned the dress. Nevertheless, I felt extremely comfortable and pretty in this dress after all that. I would probably rent it again, just in a size Small next time.

As others have said, this dress has a lot of fabric which is tightly gathered at the neck and makes for a full dress. That's kind of the look and it's balanced by the belt and open back. I sized down and got the medium, but I'm not sure the large would have been bad. I think all the gathered fabric is what makes it a little interesting. Super easy to wear. I didn't find the belt at first as it was in a little black that at the bottom of a big pocket in the garment bag.

Rented this dress for a vacation and it gave off the perfect vacay/resort vibes. I will say that the dress has way more fabric to it than I expected, which made it a bit heavier. Overall it is a lightweight fabric though so I was able to wear it in Miami no problem. It definitely needs a belt!

I rented this twice before over the last six months, but each time I got a last minute notice that it wasn't returned with the belt so it wouldn't get shipped out to me :(. Luckily it showed up this time the day before my Cabo vacay! It was perfect!!! Lightweight, lined, pockets and those back straps...it was definitely one of my favorites! I returned with the belt so hopefully it will be intact for me to rent again ;)

The dress without the belt is quite shapeless so I was a bit worried that it wouldn't be very flattering on, but once belted I really loved it! The neckline is great and the back detail makes it stand out (though I do recommend going bra-less or using a strapless one that you can wear low in the back). Super comfortable and lightweight- perfect for a rehearsal dinner on the beach.

This is the perfect summer dress. Cute, flattering and comfortable. I probably could have gone a size down, but with the belt the medium fit just fine—the back straps were just a bit loose. I could wear this dress all summer long.

Not for a big bust. Smaller the better because the fabric is thick and rather stiff and has lots of volume. It just made my sis look fat and have no waist even with the belt (She's my height but a much larger bust). Speaking of which, must be worn with a belt otherwise you look like a tent. Worked for *me* so I would def rent again. Note that I am tall, so I am not sure how it would work on others who are shorter. Bonus: it has deep pockets. I could fit my phone in one and sunglasses in the other. Because the skirt is stiff and puffy, having stuff in your pockets doesn't affect the look.

I wore this CUTE, cute dress in France for a day of vineyard hopping. It was perfect for a warm day because of the mostly open back. I'm 5'7" and 140lbs and the Medium fit well but could have been a bit tighter in the top ( you can't adjust the straps). You also can't wear a regular or strapless bra.

Flows, fresh, cute, i recibe lots of compliments of how cute I look, and how cute the dress was, I feel beautiful on it!

This is a perfect maxi for an eventful weekend. I paired it with a strappy black heel and jewelry at night, then wore it with flats the next morning for brunch!

I rented this to attend Silobration in Waco, Texas in October. I was 5 months pregnant and wanted something comfortable in the heat but still cute. This was a total win! So comfortable all day and the back detail was a fun added element. I wore it belted to show the bump and didn't wear a bra with it because I didn't feel like it was needed. Would definitely rent again and recommend to women, pregnant or not!

Pretty sure I'm going to end up buying this dress. I wore it to an outside day party and it was perfect for a warm summer day, while still looking amazing. I have a tiny chest and didn't wear a bra - I could see how this fit may cause some issues for bigger chested ladies, but overall I HIGHLY recommend.

I have worn this dress twice. I love it!!! So flattering for an hourglass figure. I received so many compliments. I wore it to work and for a 4th of July party. Perfect summer dress light and airy but modest enough that I could go without a bra and not feel noticeable.

This dress is the epitome of easy. Definitely billowy without the belt but perfect for a hot summer day. Would suggest sizing down as it's cut large. The back is low so could not wear a bra but the large straps and lining made it comfortable to wear all day long.

Rented this as part of my unlimited subscription. Came with tags! Dress is very flowy and I needed to tie the belt tightly as well as pin some of the fabric in order for it to give me some shape. However, great dress for summer. Material is cotton and lightweight. Dress slips over the head and doesn't have a zipper.

Really comfortable, easy dress. Medium was a bit large for me (size 6), but belt made that easy to adjust for. Pockets an added bonus.

Very comfortable cotton dress, perfect for a warm night at a concert/benefit dinner with mixed formality. Had to steam the wrinkles out, and you have to wear a NuBra or go braless because the halter/backless cut. And I know everyone says this but I really did get so many compliments! It's not the first style of dress I consider as flattering but it must have stood out because people kept approaching me to mention how much they loved it and even asked where they could buy it! I'd rent again for sure!

Pros: beautiful design and details. The back was especially nice. Also loved the pockets. Cons: fabric was overwhelming! I'd definitely recommend sizing down. Also, at 5'5'' this was easily floor length on me, so it didn't feel like an easy summer dress. I might try it again someday in a smaller size if I'm looking to wear it to something more formal.

I am in the beginning of my second trimester and this was a super comfortable maternity dress.

This dress drapes beautifully and even know it's quite full is still really flattering. The back detailing is elegant with a bit of grit due to the detailing at the straps--I just loved wearing this & received multiple compliments. The dress actually arrived without the belt (whoopsie, RTR) but I wore it unbelted and still felt lovely, not frumpy.

Fit was good, a little big in the neck area but nothing noticeable. Was so comfortable and great for everyday where or to wear to work. Very flattering and comfortable.

I expected this to look like a circus tent, and it would without the belt. However, it was shockingly flattering and fun to wear. A little long on a 5'6" frame but low heels did the trick. I didn't feel the need to wear a bra - it draped nicely over a small chest. The wide back straps looked great and really highlighted my back piece (always a plus for me).

I absolutely adored this dress! I rented as part of my unlimited membership to take with me on vacation, and ended up keeping it for 3 months and wearing multiple times. The style is unique, and the dress is well made... It definitely felt "expensive" to me. I found it to be true to size, though, as noted in some of the other reviews, it is A LOT of fabric, so you definitely depend on the cute little belt to give it some shape. Highly recommend!

This dress was perfect for my birthday! It was comfy and a little sexy. Eat and drink all night, it's very forgiving. I wore a sticky bra and it worked great! You won't be disappointed, I wish I could keep it!!!

Loved this dress. Super comfy. Lots of compliments as I wore to a bbq. It is heavy, so if the weather is quite warm you may get hot.

I came across this in the store when trying to find something for a swanky summer rooftop party. This was terrific with and without the belt. I kept it for weeks and wore it a ton, getting comments everytime. The straps on the back plus the pockets make this dress a huge winner!

Wore this to a summer outdoor wedding at a vineyard. I am 5'0" - so the dress was floor-length for me with platform heels, but still looked really great! Loved the crisscross back straps and it was so incredibly comfortable. The dress did get a bit wrinkly in transit, so would recommend a quick steam or iron before your event. Also take some time and make sure the sash sits in the right spot on your hips. A preppy-fun dress! Pockets were a huge plus.
