I received a new necklace for Christmas and this dress made the perfect backdrop to show it off! I wore this to the Nutcracker Ballet and loved the thick material and sleeves for the walk to and from the theater. The dress has a very classic elegance to it and is not meant to fit tight, but I would say it was a little looser than I would have preferred. Still loved the dress and would rent it again!

I loved this dress for my engagement party! I was a little nervous not being able to wear spanx with it because of the slit in the back, but the fabric was thick and the fit was loose enough to be comfortable and flattering.

Wasn't sure I'd even like this- ended up buying it! The material is fairly thick, yet has some give to it, Wouldn't compare it w/other TIBI shifts. Allows for a tailored look while really comfortable.Got for a Holiday visit to San Francisco. The off white color, weight and texture & unique cut outs at the elbow and back make this a year round dress there. Styled differently- I wore this to an (upscale casual) engagement party, a holiday dinner,and a casual /day gathering at the MOMA. Pretty versatile!! Would not recommend for weather that is too warm as fabric is thick. Also, at 5'1" 105 & 32D the 0 hits just about mid thigh, fits at waist without being tight, regular bra (the opening is below a bra line)... It may be a little short on taller women. Fabric has give but not "stretchy" so definitely size UP for backup. :)

Wanted a simple dress that I could add color and accessories without going overboard. The open elbows and back made it fun...business in the front, party in the back:-). The dress was super comfortable. Would rent again

The material was really nice which dresses it up, but I wore it with flat sandals for a baby shower. It wasn't too short which is a problem I often have. Also, I wore a size 2 and didn't feel restricted or that it was tight in any area which means it may run slightly big because I am usually between a 2 and 4., but not a significant amount. I got a lot of compliments for such a simply cut dress, but the small details in the back and elbows make it special.

I loved the chic simplicity of this long sleeved Tibi dress. While there is no stretch, I did not have trouble fitting my bust into this style. There is comfortable room throughout the midsection and natural waist, but is fitted in the hips. Because of this, I would recommend sizing up if you have larger hips. The back of the dress has a subtle back cut out and also slits for your elbows. I do have longer arms, and the elbow cutouts ending up falling above my elbow, but it was not a problem! At 5'8" this dress hit about mid-thigh. I absolutely loved that this dress is like a blank canvas! You can pair it with a fun statement necklace for a night on the town or keep it simple with some delicate jewelry and nude heels.

I originally rented this for thanksgiving but ended up wearing it for a brunch with friends to plan a bachelorette party. I dressed it down with simple white sneakers. The dress is comfortable and I just love everything from Tibi. If I were to purchase this dress though I would have taken it to get tailored in the chest area. It was a bit baggy for me but for someone with a larger chest it would likely fit well and still be comfortable.

This pic does not show off how special this dress is. I got tons of compliments. The dress runs true to size. I wore a size 10 but should have worn an 8. I have lost a few pounds and feel the dress hung a little big. The sleeves are rather long. I tucked them in and put fabric tape to hold the hem in place.

Perfectly elegant and fun shift dress by Tibi! Being the fabric is very stretchy, running true to size, we recommend sizing up for backup if you’re curvier and down if you’re smaller framed. It is fitted at the waist and hip however the fabric also allowing for a comfortable amount of room throughout. This style dress works great for any cup size and may be worn with your standard bra. At 5’5, the hem hit me between mid-though to knee length. Pair with gold accessories and a fun bag to work, casually or your night out!

This was my emergency dress since the dress for my bridal shower was a disaster. I looked sooo bomb! Love the fit.....kinda tight around the hips if you have curves but other than that it was awesome.

I wore this dress to a formal gala and it was comfortable, classic, and elegant with an interesting edge thanks to the open back and cutouts.

Perfect for work, if paired with a jacket. Great on its own for a party or night out. Super comfy, too. I'm short waisted so I was worried about where the cut out would hit but it was high enough to cover a pair of spanx and low enough to cover a regular bra.

...but it arrived with damages and unfortunately my size was unavailable for replacement. Still, RTR Customer Service came through for me. I will rent this dress again in my size.

I didn't end up wearing it solely on the fact that I didn't have an occasion for it - but will definitely rent it again!! The center back cut out sits higher than the photo makes it appear. The dress is straight cut - so not form fitting - and can hide all kinds of flaws. The crepe material is great quality and has some weight to it. Sleeve length for me was fine (even though others noted it to be too long). Rent this! So perfect....pair with killer jewelry....and shoes.

I loved this dress. It fit perfectly and was great for an early fall outdoor party. It isn't a stark white as I thought it would be, but more of a light beige color. I styled it with a gold statement necklace and a pair of low brown booties. The cut outs at the elbows were such a cute touch. I received many compliments and felt beautiful all night in this dress. Sad to have to send back

My only problem with the dress was that the size 4 wasn't available, I wore the 6, the 2 was too tight across my back. Other than that, I loved everything about it, the color, the cutouts!

Perfect Classy dress for the country club and the peek a boo cut out in the back and on the sleeves gave it a stylish flair! I got so many compliments from all different ages! Wore it to work then for dinner with a friend! I was slightly uncomfortable with my back exposed at work so I tossed on a long cardigan and it looked nice with that as well. I'd recommend wearing a chunky necklace as my dainty one was lost in all the cream.

I love Tibi dresses. In all others I've worn a 8 and I should have sized up to a 10 on this one! It's cute style and I'll likely try re-renting in the larger size.

I rented this for a date but it turned out to run a little large so I wore it to work. It's very comfortable and I got tons of compliments. I would not recommend this as a date look but it's roomy, comfortable, and chic so glad I gave it a shot.

I wore this to my graduate school graduation. I originally ordered an 8 and 10 and even once I got the 6, it was a little big. The 8 had a nice flow to it, but the 6 was scrunched up in the front and impossible to make flat. It also bunched up in the tummy, making it a little unflattering. The photos from rent the runway make it look like it is ivory, but it is definitely more of a beige/khaki. It wasn't my favorite dress ever, but it did look nice for my December graduation

Nice dress with an edge. I thought it was going to be cotton, but is more of a shinny white. I plan to wear it with tall boots and a scarf and it is somewhat plain jane in the front.

The back was baggy. This dress is not suited for someone with a narrow, lean frame.

Too frumpy for casual wear, too much cut-out for work. Fits true to size trending toward loose; but just to blah for me to wear anywhere.
