The dress ships in two pieces and the size 2 top was unavailable but the size 2 black slip was available. So to be clear, I wore the size 2 slip and size 4 feather top. This dress fit AMAZING and the feathers were so fun and different. I got a ton of compliments on this dress. I wore it to an outdoor wedding in the summer and was not too hot. The feathers do fall off easily!

I love that it's a top over a slip, super comfy and you can wear a normal bra. Hit my calf. The feathers can be a little unwieldy (and some fall out) but really fun.

This dress looks great on. Very flattering. It is two pieces, a slip dress underneath and the feather part is like a crop shirt thay goes over it. The fabric is very substantial though so it is flattering. I loved wearing this dress. It is not totally 20s themed but in the spirit of it

I loved this style and the unique feather detailing! The dress runs true to size however I would recommend sizing up for the backup size. An important thing to note is that these are two separate pieces. For larger busts I recommend sizing up due to the fit of the top!

Perfect cocktail style for any occasion! I LOVE the feather details - they really spice up this LBD making it super unique. The fit of the dress portion (under the pop over top) was true to size and had some stretch so it fit well throughout without being too snug. If you have a curvier frame, I recommend sizing up for more room, especially in the hips! The popover feather top also fit true to size, but if you have a larger bust I recommend sizing up because this will pull in the shoulders and back if it is too small on your frame. The length was longer than I expected but it looked really sharp and mature. Dress this up with some statement earrings or a cuff and you are good to go!

This is a fun dress. It is a pretty perfect for wearing black, but adding some visual interest. What I didn't love is that I don't find the silhouette to be flattering. It doesn't look bad, it just isn't slimming. Just something to keep in mind as far as the look you are going for. Also, some feathers did shed.

I wore this dress for a Neiman Marcus Fall/Winter Trends Fashion Show and it was absolutely perfect. Simple, comfortable, and stylish. I was featured in several publications/media avenues and I had Neiman Marcus employees asking where I got the dress from. I had to tie the straps to the dress as they fit me long but other than that, everything is true to size. I am curvy and have hips but this silhouette was flattering and not too tight. The feathers are more than enough to spice up this fancy little black number, I only wore drop earrings and an envelope clutch, no other accessories were needed. I highly recommend!

This dress is two pieces with the shell loose fitting and kind of limp. The popover has more structure and definitely provides drama. I was EXCEPTIONALLY comfortable all night and could wear a standard bra.

Feathers do stick out when arms are down, but no one else notices it.

This dress is very comfortable. The slip underneath fits loosely, and the top is separate. It's fun and festive without being tight or revealing. Very easy to wear. you can wear a regular bra under it by snapping the straps into the vest/top. I loved the dress. It may run just a tad big.

Needed something fun for a black-tie optional wedding. This was it! Was a midi on my 5-1 frame. Only con - I was shedding feathers throughout the night.. and the feathers were a little staticky!

I'm 5'5" so it was a bit long, but I really loved the look. It was so comfortable (didn't have to wear a bra!) and was a lot of fun with the feathers.

It was a little big...but it was two pieces, so you could not tell that the slip dress was a little large (they were out of the size 10 which is my normal size) It was SUPER comfortable. I will totally rent this one again!!!

Dress fit great and was so flattering if you have a bit of a tummy. Hides it all! The feathers on the dress give it the perfect elegant touch. I'm short so the dress was a bit longer than I would have liked but otherwise a great choice for any event.

Fit was perfect. The only issue I had was with some of the feathers coming off through the evening.

Originally ordered because striking, was pleasantly surprised that was flattering. Is two pieces, and dress underneath was too large on me, could not have worn without top piece. Also, was longer than on model, hit at at midi length, but looked more chic and polished as a result. Top piece can also be worn separately, looked adorable with high-waist pants.

True to size

I am honestly contemplating purchasing this dress, I loved it so much! I wore it to a formal Holiday party and the length was perfect for a work affair (it came down to my knees but has side slits on both sides) with the feathers adding a bit of fun to the dress. I already know I wear a 2 in Tibi (I'm usually a size 0 in everything else) and it was a perfect fit. I think the 0 would have been too tight on my hips. I'm smaller on top and I could see needing to size up as another reviewer noted if you have a larger chest or broader shoulders. If you don't know your Tibi size and you're not too large on top, I would recommend ordering your normal size and a size up.

I usually wear a 2 and the 2 fit better, but I preferred the drapey look of the 4 for a 1920s theme party. Very easy to wear. You can wear normal undergarments. It hit me just below the knee which was perfect. The feathers were fun.

The dress is in 2 pieces. The bottom is a slip dress and was roomy for a size 4. I possibly could have been a 2 ? I am 5'5" and weigh 133lbs

This is a beautiful dress, but was not suite for my size or body type. It fell mid-shin, and didn't have enough shape to the slip to show the two layers. The top with the feathers was lovely, but this is definitely made for a taller body type.

The slip was a bit clingy for my liking, but the top was super cute and so different from anything I've worn. It kept me warm for a November wedding.

Fit was baggy. Would not wear if you want to show off your figure. Still felt that I looked great and fashionable.
