Fits true to size. What stood out was the high neck, which I loved and the open back! Really light weight and flowy making it perfect for a warm beach wedding! Beautiful color as well! The purple pops!

Loved this rental, wish I owned the dress! I felt amazing in it. The fabric is super lightweight which was awesome for a humid summer wedding. The back is really pretty and not too much skin. I wore a nubra but you don't even need a bra. I went with the 0R, I never even tried on my backup size. Since you can pretty much tie the back to make it as fitted as you want it only mattered that the waist fit. Length was perfect, wore 3 inch heels and it was just right although I stepped on the back a few times when I went from sitting to standing but it was just me being a clutz. This dress was just so pretty, I want to rent it again!

This dress fits so perfectly! The back is absolutely gorgeous, I got so many compliments throughout the night. The length of this dress was slightly long in the back, but overall worked well with 3 inch wedges.

The fit is adjustable since the back of this dress ties. I was concerned about "side boob" at first, but if you correctly situate (with assistance) the bodice of the dress there were absolutely no issues! I wore a sticky bra, but honestly you don't need one and I wish I had left mine at home. The way this dress flows when you walk is just beautiful and gives the dress an elegant feel. I paired the dress with 4 inch black ankle strap heels. I went with the long versus regular length, and the hem of the dress just danced right above the floor. I didn't want the dress to be too short and I was happy with the long length! I highly recommend this dress, and you can easily dress it up or dress it down. Enjoy!

This dress was perfect and definitely one I wish I owned. The straps adjust to create a perfect fit and the material was thick enough that I didn't have to wear a bra, however I don't have a whole lot up top so it may be different for larger chested girls. This dress was so comfortable, light and airy and perfect for an outdoor wedding on the water. The peacock print was unique and the gorgeous color really pops in pictures. Loved the whole experience!

Love love this dress. I wore it to a bridal shower and then for an on-camera work event because the colors and cut looked so lovely on video. It's silky and vibrant, unique, and chic. The back is sexy, with just ties holding it together. I threw on a jean jacket though for an edgier look...and to cover my bare back! Advice: this dress will be hard to wear for a. super busty ladies, as there's not much room for your boobs and def not a place for you bra nor b. shorties. I'm 5'6 and even with my highest heels the regular almost grazed the ground in the back (it's longer in the back than the front)

This dress was a back up to a back up size of another dress that was not available last minute! The staff at RTR is the best, they made sure I had an extra back up and made sure it arrived in time! I can go on and on about the customer service! This dress made me feel beautiful! I wore it to a luau in Maui. It was so comfortable and no need to wear a bra, the back is super sexy too!

Fit was perfect. I could have worn a 0R, but 2 still did the trick. The dress was beautiful with the flowing skirt and the back was amazing. Kept me cool all night dancing the night away in Playa del Carmen. If you have the shoulders and the back to show off, this is perfect! I wish I didn't have to give this gorgeous dress back!

This is by far my favorite rental from Rent the Runway and is probably the most flattering maxi dress I've found. I wore the 4L which fit true to size and was a great length to wear with 3 inch wedges. The top fit perfectly since you can easily adjust it by tightening or loosening the tie in the back. I had purchased a Nubra to wear with this but I didn't even end up needing it. Quite a few people commented on the unique print and shape of the dress. I felt great the entire night! Rent this dress!!!

This dress was wonderful. For my athletic build it was the perfect cut. The "halter" highlighted my shoulders without making me look like a linebacker. I wore heels so had no issues with length. The wedding was "traditional" so the maxi length was perfect, the back was tasteful and elegant. I got many compliments on the pattern and look of this dress. I would highly recommend renting this dress -- and will probably rent it again myself!

This dress was wonderful! I wore it for an outdoor bay wedding and loved everything about it. I ordered the 0R and the 2R and ended up wearing the 0. The zipper ends at your waist so this is really dependent on your waist size. The ties in the back mean you can make it fit to your size, as tight or loose as you like. I have a small waist but bigger hips, so normally I'm a 2, but the 0 was perfect, the 2 was loose. I'm also short (5'3") and I found the length was great. The slight hi-low helped. I'm not wearing shoes in the picture but I wore 3 1/2 in wedges and it barely touched the ground in the back. I wore a sticky bra because I didn't feel comfortable not wearing one at all, but the ties hold everything in nicely. This picture was at the end of the night, so disregard the dress being a little too far over on one of the sides, that was just because I was wearing a jacket and took it off and didn't re-adjust it. Anyway, great dress, I got a lot of compliments on it and love the back especially, and it's nice that the ties can be tight or loose.

I opted for sandals with the dress to save my feet for heels at the reception, but with the high low hem you should wear heels with it. The open back is very fun, you definitely can't wear a bra with it but the material is heavy enough I wasn't worried about anything showing in the chest area. The color is beautiful, a very vibrant purple and the pattern is pretty. I highly recommend the dress.

I have a small torso and chest so anything that allows me to adjust the back is perfect! Made the dress look like it was made for me. I am 6.7 and wore 4 in heels with the regular length and it was just the right length.

This was my first experience with RTR so I was very happy when my RTR dress fit like a glove despite the fact that my back up size could not be shipped. Due to the mistake a stylist sent me 2 other dresses the day prior to my event and I was also able to select another dress just in case. Unfortunately the dress I chose did not arrive in time to even look at it, as I attended an afternoon wedding. Luckily my typical size fit! I wore a Nu Bra as did other reviewers, mainly because it was cold outside, but if you aren't busty then no bra would be fine. The dress has a slight hi-lo which allows for easily walking in heels without feeling like you are tripping over your dress as with other long dresses. It was a great way to wear a dress I would never spend the money on myself!

This was an incredible dress. I rented it for a rehearsal dinner and beach bonfire. The dress was the perfect blend of dressed up but also appropriate for the relaxed bonfire. I am usually a size 6, which was unavailable for my event, so I rented the 4 based on reviews that the dress ran a little big. The fit of the top was completely customizable with the tie back - I wore my stick on bra and felt comfortable all night. Loved the high low hem - perfect with flat sandals, and I didn't trip! I had compliments all night long from friends and family - I wanted to keep it! Will probably rent again, or make my sister rent it. Love, love, loved this one.

This dress was gorgeous! I loved wearing it, felt beautiful and it did not wrinkle! It ran a bit large but I honestly could have gone up or down a size because the back allows you to adjust. I used double sided tape to keep the front in place. I would have loved to keep this dress and wear it again!

This dress was perfect for what I needed it for. It was very comfortable and the length was perfect with heels. The straps criss-cross and tie in back so you can make it as tight or loose as you need it to be. I would rent this dress again for another event - I received lots of compliments and it was fun to wear.

I loved this dress! I originally tried on an 8R at my appointment because I was told the European sizes run differently. The 8R was too big (I am normally a 0-2 in dresses) so I ordered a 4R & 6R for my rental. I ended up wearing the 4R and probably could have even gotten away with a 2R. The dress was so comfortable - I didn't have to worry about adjusting it every 5 minutes or feeling bloated after stuffing my face at the wedding because it disguises the whole stomach area. I loved the open back and it was the main reason I chose this dress. Length was a teeny bit long but I am also 5'1" so everything is usually long on me. Definitely would rent this again and wish I didn't have to give it back at all!!

I fell in love with this maxi!! It's so easy to dress up or dress down - I ended up just wearing it to dinner at the beach but have already rented it for my friends rehearsal dinner. The fabric is light and comfortable, making it a great option for a summer night. One thing to note on the fit, it's basically backless so you either need to wear a Nu bra or nothing. You're able to adjust the straps in the back though to make it tighter if you want - that's what i did and I felt fine!

Perfect dress for Mexico... I didn't wear a bra, The entire back is basically open. Probably not best for women with large breasts. I am 34 B and I had some side boob showing at times.

I rented this for an outdoor wedding on the water in Charleston in August. My main concern for the event was being comfortable, since it is incredibly humid and hot and the wedding was entirely outside. The dress was perfect for the occasion. The open back was really sexy. Although I don't typically wear a maxi style dress, I really liked the way this looked and would definitely recommend!

I was looking for a maxi that wasn't too formal and this was perfect. The colors and pattern were beautiful, and the cut was very flattering and unique, especially the back. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the high/low hem, but I used fashion tape to fold up the back so it wasn't dragging.

I rented this for our engagement photo shoot on the beach. The fabric was so beautiful in the wind! Even though no bra can be worn, I had no issue with coverage, even in the direct sunlight. The fabric plus the print did a fantastic job hiding the girls; never had a "cold" moment showing through the dress and this I found to be extremely impressive given the windy atmosphere we were shooting in. The dress was comfortable and I liked the fit a lot. I felt so pretty in it and didn't need to adjust it the entire time, which is amazing considering it is backless. No tape was used- it is just that fabulous! I wish I didn't have to return it and would definitely rent it again.

The halter top keeps everything secure, with a little side boob action, but nothing unmanageable (34C). The back is very open and you can tie in multiple ways/as tight as you like. Because of this, I was able to wear a size smaller than I usually do, which was great because my usual size was unavailable. Highly recommend this dress, perfect length, pretty pattern and many compliments!

I really liked this dress! Very comfortable and can be worn with flats for a more "dressed down" look or heals and some nice jewelry for a more dressed up look. I wore it both ways and it transitioned nicely from a day dress to a fun night on the town for my 30th birthday in Denver! Slightly looser in the bust with my smaller chest and broader back but the fit was still great and easily adjustable with the string back.

I wore this dress for a birthday outing-winery then dinner. It is my favorite RTR rental so far (and that's saying a lot bc I have LOVED some of my other rentals). This dress is just so easy, beautiful, comfortable, flattering, and one of a kind. You can wear it without a bra and the ties in the back allow you to make it fit like a glove.
