I'm 5'10" and the long was the perfect length with flat sandals - which was perfect for an outdoor Florida wedding.

I absolutely LOVED this dress! I wore it for my bridal shower and got compliments on it all day long. The material is very soft and flowy and the color is beautiful. I was concerned because I have a large bust (36D) but I wore a nu bra as the dress description suggested and it worked out well. Always great customer service too from RTR!

Went with the 2L because my heels were very high and I liked the loose fitting look a little better. I received lots of compliments and felt beautiful.

I usually am between a 6 & 8, but only got the 6R due to what was available. 8 probably would've been a better fit. I did not wear a bra...could've but would've been less comfortable. I did wear pasties but they weren't necessary. The closure is combo snaps and zipper FYI. It's fairly sheer so if weather is an issue be advised you may put on a show (I almost did!) Would def rent again in the 8.

This dress is FANTASTIC. Super comfortable - wrinkle resistant - stain resistant - hangs perfectly - slit in back which ventilates...and looks great with a variety of accessories. Also perfectly covered a tattoo in the middle of my back. The 2L actually ended up not being available at the last minute, and someone at RTR sent me 2 backup dresses in other styles with matching accessories and changed the shipping location to accommodate my schedule, and was amazingly responsive and helpful.

I'm 5'10 " and the length was long enough with 3 inch heels. It fit perfect and the color was fantastic. Loved this dress, tons of compliments. Wore it for a black tie optional wedding. It could be dressed up or down depending on how you accessorize. Xoxo

I ordered the long fit because I normally buy the long fit in jeans. It was very long, I probably would have been okay with the regular, but with heels it was okay. The dress is very light and I ended up purchasing "gel petals" from Aerie (basically nipple pasties) because a strapless would have shown too much I felt. However, I felt completely comfortable the whole night and received many compliments throughout the night - even from complete strangers! The necklace and cuff were perfect for the dress. It was my first time with rent the runway and I will definitely consider it again. Other than the dress being a little too long, everything was perfect!

This dress made me feel like a million bucks. Its semi casual, yet sexy. I think it would work best on a person with a small frame because the fabric will does not hide many flaws. I didn't have a strapless bra with me so I wore the pasties, sometimes you could see the outline of them through the dress, not so much the color or any skin, but more like an underwear line. I suggest having seem-less undergarments on to prevent pantie lines. It was long on me, as all maxi dresses are, but with 3" heels it was only slightly grazing the ground. I don't remember there being a slit in the back, so my movement felt a little restricted. I want to buy this dress and lounge around in in all day, every day, forever.

I loved this dress! The top draped perfectly and it was super comfortable. Definitely a dress you can wear all night long. I'm 5'9" and the 8L just hit the floor with pretty high heels, I probably could have gotten away with the regular length.

Obsessed with this dress - I've rented quite a bit in my day but this is one of my favorites! The 4 fit but I ended up wearing the 6 to give me some extra room (packed on some extra lbs with a new job recently haha)

Wore this to my brother's beach wedding on Hilton Head Island. It was comfy, and looked great without shoes, but was a bit warmer than expected because of the skirt lining. Definitely needed the pasties to keep the girls in check, since it's pretty difficult to hide bra straps. Could have worn either the 2L or 4L, but decided on the smaller size to prevent any accidents.

The dress was just about perfect. I have big thighs/butt and my normal size (6) was just loose enough. I got a 6L and wore 3 inch heels and the length was perfect. I wore a sticky backless bra and it worked well with the dress. You do have to be careful of what you wear underneath it.

I rented this for a friend's beach wedding and it was perfect! Super comfortable and everyone loved it! I'm normally a 6, so I ordered the 6L and it fit perfectly. =]

The fit was perfect. The 4L was not available so I ordered the 4R. I'm 5'7 so I had to wear low heels with this dress but it worked okay. The necklace I rented from RTR too and it matched perfectly. Although if you don't want to be so matchy matchy I would pair with a contrasting necklace..the green is more muted in color. Very comfortable dress!

I ordered a regular size instead of a long size even though I'm 5'8". The regular size was long enough!

I wore this to a Sunday day wedding. This was my first RTR experience so I was very nervous. I wore a size 2R and it ran pretty true to size. The material is soft and beautiful! I had so many compliments on the dress. It is simple and elegant but truly makes an impression!

Wore this for the Denver Derby party w a big straw hat! Loved it. So comfortable all day. Has a slit in the back so its easier to walk in and good for hot days because it lets some air in this long dress! Kinda slouchy blouson shape is great for daytime events! Im between a 4 and a 6 and the 4L was good for me. It was a tad long on me with flats (I am 5'8"). Def would rent again!

I really loved this dress. Rented it for a wedding in Chicago. The length offered some formality, but the material and style made it really comfortable. Overall it was pretty true to size, but did seem to run a little short. I'm on the shorter end - 5' 4" - and had to rule out a couple pairs of heels because it made the dress too short.

This dress is so simple but beautiful, I loved the way it looked on me at the top half front and back, added a chunky necklace it was so fun, one down fall me for was I have large hips and the dress was a bit snug where it hits my hips, that didn't bother me too much though, the length was perfect I am 5'9'' and like longer dresses to still hit the ground but not too much and this dress length in L was perfect, so the only reason I didn't wear it was because it showed my imperfections through the material on my thighs and butt, so I thought I'll just wear my spanx, but the material is so thin you could see the lining of my spanx so I didn't end up wearing it because of that.

I rented this dress for a beach wedding in Cancun, Mexico in September. It was a light material which was perfect for the beach and it could be dressed up or down. I wore it with gold flat sandals and gold jewelry and loved the look. I am 5'10 and the length would have still been long enough with a low heel. It seemed as if there was a little extra material in the hips to accommodate wider hips (which I don't have) but since the dress is slightly flowy from waist down, it wasn't that noticeable.

I wore this for a wedding in Hawaii -- of three dresses received (one I dislike, one was too big). This one was also a little too big. I get that it's supposed to fall loosely, but I wish it was tighter at the waist. Definitely needs jewelry to dress it up -- this is the only necklace I had and I wore gold earrings. The color of the dress was beautiful (I've never really been partial to green on my olive skin), and it was lightweight enough to boogie at a Hawaiian wedding! I wore about 5 inch wedges, which made the length perfect!

I had originally ordered this for an outdoor summer birthday party, but the day before my order was scheduled to arrive, I got an email that my backup size was unavailable because it had been returned in poor condition. The stylist went totally above and beyond and gave me 2 other dresses for free, one of which I ended up loving and wearing to the party! I wore this to dinner with a friend and loved the easy, relaxed fit and how it looked on. The only thing I would change is that I wish the dress had adjustable straps! I wore with a nude strapless bra and light pink thong and didn't have any lines or show through, for those that had commented about issues with the dress being see-through.

Dress fits well. Definitely need to wear a strapless bra with it. Top has some looseness which makes it easy to wear.

It's true that the dress doesn't have any stretch, but the loose fit up top means it's pretty forgiving. In part because of my smaller chest, and in part because it was more flattering in the waist and eliminated the gaping under the arms, I decided to wear the 2 (though the 4 would have worked fine). I'm 5'4" and wore 2" wedges - I did occasionally worry about the dress being too long and it did get caught on things, but it didn't cause any serious problems (and my feet were grateful for the lower heel :). You can definitely play up the jewelry with this dress, and I liked how gold looked with the mint green. Fun & easy choice for an outdoor wedding!

I wore this to travel home in after a long weekend in California. It was breezy and comfortable. The open back was flattering and I wore it with a brown belt and sandals. Be sure to wear smooth underwear, lines show easily. I loved the comfort and style of this dress.

I rented this dress for my engagement photo shoot. It was perfect! I did accentuate the waist with a belt to give it a little more shape. It was super comfortable. A complaint I have is that you have to wear a strapless bra, which I hate, but other than that it was great! I went with the size 2, but I could have even wore a size down. I would recommend this dress for any event.

I rented both a 10R and 12L. I would say the top runs true to size and the bottom runs a pinch small. Long length was perfect with 2 inch heels. I'd suggest getting a size up as your backup if you have hips /a butt as you may want a little extra room bc the fabric is def form fitting (no stretch to it) but it hangs really nicely if the size is right. Wore it to a black tie optional summer wedding. Overall a fantastic color, and I felt great in it!

The dress was definitely long, and I should have used the hem tape. A little tight at the hips. I'd have been able to wear the 4 if not for that. The dress was so comfortable and I felt amazing in it.

This dress is gorgeous - the color was perfect for a summer wedding and the length allowed me to wear flats to the outdoor ceremony. I was concerned about sizing, but for approx. measurements 34DD-27-36 the 8 was the right size. My one slight complaint is that I felt the waistline accentuated the least flattering part of my stomach, but that could have been solved with a pair of Spanx. The silky fabric might wrinkle a bit in a suitcase, but mine was pretty unwrinkled and I used a low iron to smooth it out.

I wore this dress for the outdoor retirement of my Fiance. The dress was a tad too long but it was so light and airy! LOVED IT!

I loved this dress. It was the perfect style for my engagement pictures in a canyon and field near me. My issue is with the hip and thigh area. Where it should have been loose, it was tight. In most dresses like this I wear a 4, but because of this I HAD to wear the 6. If you have any hips at all, I would recommend sizing up and wearing spanks.

I ordered this dress for a wedding and ended up wearing a different one that was sent. However, I must say that the dress is beautiful... but make sure to wear the correct size, because the sheerness and clingy-ness of it would most likely accentuate any flaws on your backside/legs, especially if you don't wear the proper underwear. It is incredibly lightweight which will be good for any dancing, and I thought that the length of the dress was adequate with wedges (I am 5'5'' for reference, and had received the 2... It was a bit billowy, which is part of the reason why I didn't wear it, but if I had been able to receive the 0, I'm sure it would have been the perfect fit (length also). I would love to try this dress again in the future in the right size!
