Absolutely loves this dress. It's a stylish dressy LBD that I felt so svelt in! The arms are a little snug FYI and the dress is a little short, but with tights it was perfect! I definitely recommend this!

I had a work event at the aquarium so it was very chilly - this was the perfect dress to keep me warm and professional. The back was a bit short as others said, but with tights it wasn't a problem at all. Would rent again!

This dress is not going to stun anyone at a party. But you will impress them with it's unique and intricate classy design. The quilting-type pattern is very cute, and perfect for winter parties. I was perfectly warm in it. It's cuter than a plain LBD, but simple enough to be styled up with a very wide variety of accessories. Things to keep in mind: the sleeves are 3/4 length, the bottom WILL ride up if you're dancing, and it's very warm. It is great with tights for winter, but you should know the material on the inside almost feels like a neoprene wet suit: thick! Overall, I got lots of compliments and felt sexy yet classy in this dress.

I 100% agree with the other ladies who recommend sizing up. I rented the 2 and the 4 and wore the 4. However, I probably should have rented the 4 and the 6. The main reason is that there is no real give to the fabric and the bottom seam of the dress is pretty fitted. That being said, the dress is gorgeous -- my pic doesn't do the embroidery justice. It's just a sleek little number, perfect for Friday night dinner with friends.

I didn't love when I first tried it on but it grew on me during the event and I got many compliments! I ordered 6 and 8 but wore the 8 because the chest on the 6 was too snug and "flattened" me. It definitely needs a necklace to break up all the black fabric on the top. The sleeves and sides are neoprene which kept me warm when the temps dipped into the 40's. It would definitely feel too winter-y for warm weather or a summer event.

I rented this dress for an outdoor wedding that started in the afternoon. I'm typically cold so I went for something with long sleeves. Even though it cooled off that night, this is definitely a winter dress. I was uncomfortably warm. The fit was also a bit odd. As other reviewers have mentioned, it is short. I am 5'9 and thin so I needed the 0 but WOW I was consistently pulling it down all night. I almost didn't wear it for that reason. I tried on the 2 but it was too loose in the waist. Also, you can see in the picture that the sleeves were short and loose on me so much so I had to pull them up because of the awkward length. Lastly I am currently breastfeeding and needed to go pump but the zipper was so hard to zip up and down that I had to (embarrassingly) find someone to help me unzip and zip it back up after struggling with it on my own for 10 minutes. Overall, the dress is pretty but didn't fit or function as well as I anticipated.

I loved this dress on the model but was really nervous about ordering it considering the other reviews were not great. I decided to take the risk and order it. It was not my favorite. I was sort of in between the 2 and the 4. The 4 fit better in the body but was a bit loose in the arms but I went with that one just to be more comfortable. The dress fit well but the fabric is very bulky, as other reviewers have said. I wanted to love this dress but it just was not the most flattering. I felt a bit poufy in it, which is never good. I would only recommend this dress if you have a very slight frame. If you're curvy at all, I think it would be a bad idea.

I rented this for a Christmas party but didn't end up wearing it and sent it back (great service by RTR!!) I am usually a 6 and the 8 felt too small. The material is very thick and almost puffy and not what I was expecting from the models picture. Wouldn't recommend this one.

I would never suggest this dress to anyone. its 1-2 sizes too small. Its too short in length and in the sleeves. I wanted a dress that was a good canvas from my awesome vanessa mooney necklace and it provided that (so i gave it two starts instead of one.)

There is something about a long sleeve mini dress that just gets me. This dress is a nice thick textured material. It was perfect for a winter party. It is a little shorter in the back then the front. I would rent it again.

I rented this for date night and heard it ran small so I got my usual size 4 and a size 6. I ended up wearing the size 6 which fit perfectly. I wish i owned this dress. Its thick material made for a warm night out. I got a compliment immediately when I entered the restaurant and wish I had taken a picture... but I'm awful at pictures. I got a the RJ GRAZIANO Falling Teardrops Necklace to go with it and it was perfect. I wore the dress with a pair of black suede platform heels and it looked AMAZING! Overall I would rate this dress a 10. Slimming, warm, beautiful, and like no other.

I really like this dress - the fit was perfect. I wore it for my anniversary dinner. I wore a size 2 and I normally wear a 0 or 2, depending on the style and the designer (I did not get a size 0 to compare, as they were out, but I'm inclined to say the dress runs a little small). The fabric is "thick" and not stretchy, but I found it very comfortable. My arms are not particularly thin, and I thought the sleeves fit well - not too tight and not too loose. Nor were they too long, which is obviously sometimes a problem for short women like me! I was specifically looking for something warm (cold climate) and somewhat subdued (knew I'd be more dressed up than others at the restaurant). The dress is very pretty up-close. It's not something that people are probably going to stop you and give you compliments on because it's pretty straightforward and simple but if you're looking for a nice, tasteful LBD, it's a great choice - particularly in the winter or cooler climates. It's short and form fitting, so it's not dowdy or frumpy. The front hem has an interesting subtle swoop, too, which I don't think I noticed in the photos.

This dress was so fun and perfect for my event. It was a work party and again everyone loved it. It was a little tight around my hips, but fortunately I didn't need to bend over very much so it wasn't a problem :) The material was great and I loved the sleeves.

I LOVE the cut and fabric of this dress. The skirt has a rounded cut and made my legs look amazing. It is made of a neoprene like fabric which was so edgy and it also kept me nice and warm while I was outdoors at night!

The dress was very fitted around the hips. It had a very cool, intricate pattern to the fabric and was short but not too short. I wore it with heels and tights for a winter date and it was a nice winter look.

I read that this dress ran small, but I thought it was great! If anything it was a little big... This material is extremely comfortable- stretchy enough, while maintaining the structure you want in a more formal dress. Wasn't too short. Some people may not love the asymmetrical hem, but I loved it!

I wore this for a Valentines Day date and absolutely loved it! I don't recommend it for girls with a wide chest or back. But if you have a petit body figure - GO FOR IT. The back is a little shorter than the front and it makes your legs longer ;) The material is thick (great for cooler weather) and the sleeves fit a little snug, which was nice. If you're looking for a comfortable, yet - sexy dress, I would highly recommend it.

I wore this dress for New Years Eve in NYC. I was nervous that I wouldn't be warm but it was so perfect. I wasn't even cold at night. The downside to the dress was that it was tighter and shorter than I expected because it's longer in the front than the back. Also I have a very long torso so it didn't hit in the right place, but it still looked great. I would defiantly recommend this dress to someone who is going to party during winter and doesn't want to be cold.

This was worn to winter wedding. The thick material kept me warm and the texture of the fabric jazzed up the classic shape and cut of the dress. It is a perfect minimalistic dress with a twist.

The fabric was crazy, like a wet suit or something but very cool. It is very short in the back so I wore nylons to be comfortable, also the paneling makes it hard to zip up and down. However, I would wear it again.

I wore this dress to my going away party. I live in DC and since the weather was cold, I paired it with some black tights and the necklace pictured, and it was the perfect outfit for the occasion! I did feel the dress ran a bit small in the hip area, and with the long sleeves, it doesn't give a lot of wiggle room. Normally, I would wear the size 4 in these rentals, but for this one, I was lucky to have sized up to the 6 as my back-up. Even in the 6, it felt a bit snug, but with tights, was just right. Also note: the fabric on this dress is VERY thick....almost thermal/sweater-like. Be mindful of this when you rent it!

This dress is form fitting. I usually wear a 4 but sized up to a 6 and it was still so tight I didn't feel it was easy to sit down without it riding up. I loved the material but it's definitely work to wear this dress all night

It's a nice dress but definitely runs small. I would go one size up. Also, the fabric is thick so it's not easy to zip up. You will need help.

I'd suggest this for winter because I wore it in March and felt too warm! The shoulders were a bit too broad for me, but the length was fine. I wish you could see the different patterns like in the picture, but it all just looked black and plain!
