Rented both 4 and 6, ended up going for the 6 since it's looser (especially in the neck area) and I wanted to be more comfortable. Wore it to winter career fair at school during the day underneath a suit jacket. Also wore it to dinner that night with my family! I love the neoprene fabric. It's structured, doesn't wrinkle, and it's thick but not too warm. The best part is the length. It hit RIGHT above my knees and Im 5'4. I highly recommend it!

I absolutely fell in love with this dress! I was a little nervous about the neoprene material, but it turned out to be beautiful. The material is somewhat stretchy and makes the dress so comfortable. I am normally a 6/8 and I had plenty of room in the 6. I received compliments from strangers all night long! The shape of the dress/skirt hides your tummy and hips. Just add a statement necklace and be prepared for compliments all night long!

This dress is so flattering! I was 4 months pregnant and you couldn't even tell. It fit like a glove. The material is a little odd, like a wet suit, but only I could tell. It was perfect and incredibly comfortable.

This dress is very comfortable! It's a classic LBD and even has pockets. The fabric has some stretch to it and the skirt is very feminine. Overall, the dress was perfect for the event. Lots of dancing at a beautiful wedding in Long Island. I will absolutely use RTR again.

I've recently put on some extra pounds, so I was nervous about dress size and fit. I got this in the 4 and 6, and although the 4 did fit, the 6 was really comfortable and allowed me to not feel as self conscious about eating, drinking, and you know - breathing all night. IT IS AMAZING. So effortless and classy while still keeping a chic and trendy look. I LOVE the pleated/flared skirt. I love this dress so much, I want to rent it again - in fact, I want to buy it. I'd like to lose the extra pounds and buy the 4, though ;)

I wore this dress in a size 2, but I usually wear a 0, so it was a bit loose on me! The material of this dress is similar to a scuba suit and is not only flattering, but a fun alternative to the typical little black dress. I would definitely recommend the dress to anyone, it will work for all body types. I would just suggest sizing down for back-up, since the dress is very stretchy!

I rented this dress to chaperone Winter Formal at my school. It was the perfect dress for the occasion. It was fancy, but not too fancy, and was conservative, but not too much so. I wore with the Kendra Scott Harlow necklace, and it was the perfect pop of color. The fabric is definitely weird because it's like wet-suit-type fabric, but it doesn't look weird. And who doesn't love a great dress with pockets?! Great dress overall!

The fit was great. I went with other reviews and ordered a 2 and 4 but usually would go 4 and 6. I wore the 4. I have a curvy figure and this dress was great, flirty and fun. You can wear this in a more casual way or add some statement pieces for a more dressy look. I would recommend this dress if you are in between on options. It is simple and you will feel great.

The dress that I originally ordered for this event became unavailable at the last minute, so RTR sent this LBD as a replacement. I wasn't happy with it when I saw it in the picture and still didn't like it on the hanger. It just didn't seem that special. But once I put it on, it was really cute. The fit is very nice, the material is heavy, which was nice for a cool evening, and it has pockets! It's just a stylish, modern dress that worked really well for a night on the town. I would never have picked it on my own, but I will admit to liking RTR's choice.

I received this dress by mistake right before my family photo session. When I first received it, I thought it would be awful because it is basically a wet suit dress. The nature of the neoprene makes it a bit bulky and sculptural so I wasn't sure it would work on my size 12 petite frame. When I put it on and added some heels it worked better than I thought. The neoprene has a little bit of stretch to it so it would have also been pretty comfortable had it not been tight. I found this to run small (the dress I had ordered originally was supposed to run big). The dress has a pretty cut with the almost racerback neckline in the back and the flared bottom. This would be perfect for those looking to add a little bit of shape to a straight body type or those who like a little bit of a sporty look. Though the dress is not exactly what I was going for, it is a neat dress for the right body type and occasion so I would recommend it.

This was a replacement dress for a dress that didn't work. The material feels like a scuba suit; however, it was perfect for a winter night. I attended a rehearsal dinner in this dress. I got so many compliments, and I LOVED the pockets. I'm not sure if I had been as happy if I had rented during the summer, don't let the sleeveless look fool you. But it was perfect for a winter event. I dressed it down with tights and booties, and added a long strand of costume pearls. Really cute!

I absolutely adored this dress! And judging by the compliments I received, am under the impression others did as well. I wore this dress to a wedding in upstate New York in early November. I looked specifically for a classic, clean look and this dress did not disappoint. The best part was the skirt -- it effortlessly twirled on the dance floor and was so fun to be in. I would recommend this dress to anyone looking for a clean, simple elegant look - sure to be noticed, but for all of the right reasons!

Loved the dress, ordered it last minute and the 4 wasn't in stock, so I risked it and got the 6. It worked great, the material is super stretchy so I'm sure a 4 may have been a closer fit, but the 6 worked fine since the dress is so structured. The dress has such clean lines, it really was fantastic and comfortable. As a bonus, it has pockets.

This dress was an emergency replacement from RTR after the wrap dress I had ordered for my sister's wedding, where I was to be Maid of Honor, arrived with one of the waist ties ripped off and missing. Thankfully, this dress fit like a glove. It was extremely comfortable, forgiving in the hip area and the thick neoprene material made it very comfortable for a winter wedding. I fount it fit true to size and had good stretch. Sharp looking dress and had many compliments.

I was a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding and I wore this to the rehearsal dinner with a big necklace and loved it. Great if you're smaller on top and don't want something fitted on your butt and thighs. It's definitely a full party dress cut (the skirt is voluminous), and I loved the material (some people described it as like a "wet suit" and it was, it looked great and was super comfortable). I'm usually a 6 or 8 in dresses and the 6 fit like a glove. I would buy this dress if I could, will likely rent it again.

This dress fit perfectly on me. I usually wear a size 2 (especially up top) in dresses and this dress was true to size. Because of the flouncy skirt, your hips can be bigger than a traditional size 2 and it would still fit. Also, the length wasn't too revealing on my 5'4" frame. I love the pockets and would definitely rent again.

I wore this to a winter wedding in Minnesota (very cold!!!) It was perfect!!! The material was nicer than I expected..it is a kind of heavier weight lycra ( almost like a wet suit material thickness) but you could tell it was high quality. I wore it with black tights, and skinny tall black boots (because of the snow) and because of the simple and refined cut of the dress I only accessorized it with a gray and black dress scarf and cuff. It was simple but a great look. The dress was long enough but with the full flair skirt watch out if you bend over!!! The pockets were my favorite part!!! I would definitely rent this again. I with I owned this dress. If you are small on top like me ( 34A ) and a little hippier ( I wear a 4-6 on bottoms) this is a great dress for you... I wore the size 4 but could have actually gone down a size. Thank you RTR!!!

I rented this dress for a holiday party and then found out everyone was going in jeans and very casual attire. However, I definitely want to rent this again. The material is super flattering and SO comfy. It's a simple silhouette that really makes for a fashionable outfit. Love it with a chunky necklace. Fit true to size and I would've worn the 2.

I am one month post partum and my maternity clothes are too big (yeah!) but my normal clothes are too tight. I rented a 4 and 2, wore the 4. Normally I am a 0-2 and am currently about 8-10lbs more than my usual weight. This is a comfortable dress. Scuba material is very interesting, very different - I like it, but it is more casual than a satin/silk/chiffon/other. A forgiving cut. No complaints.

This was for my sons birthday party and it worked perfectly. The length was long enough for it to work for me to bend over and pick up babies. Would recommend this for curvy girls, but maybe go down a size? I got the six and could have done the four, because of the stretchy fabric.

I ended up with this dress after my first choice (Halston Heritage Night Crawler) didn't work out, but I am SO glad everything happened the way that it did! When I first received the dress, I wasn't sold on the fabric - it feels very weird, almost a little like a flimsy neoprene - but ended up being so comfortable and I loved it! The fabric was very stretchy, which I love, and it was very flattering on my pear-shaped figure. The over-exaggerated pleats are very fun and make the dress so much fun to dance in, but did seem to make my hips appear larger. This dress ended up being perfect for the early February wedding I attended.

The fabric is like neoprene. Doesn't wrinkle! And looks very modern and chic. The skirt has a full flare to it.

I wore this dress to a cocktail party in June. I am 4 months post baby and loved the comfortable yet tailored fit with this dress. The only thing that I did not like was the fabric was too heavy and hot for spring or summer. Otherwise it was a great dress and I received numerous compliments that evening!

I didn't wear this dress because the pleating doesn't sit very nicely on someone that has hips. The fabric was also more neoprene than it looks in the pictures.

Didn't wear this, as it wasn't the most flattering fit. The skirt is VERY full, and makes it look like those are your hips. Would only reco this if you have an hourglass shape- would look best with a small waist and larger hips.

So sad, that this did not work out. It was weird wetsuit material and kind of bulky. Did not noot look good at all.

I chose this dress in my frantic state to replace the dress I rented that was trapped in a UPS truck in Chicago. Based on the picture the dress seemed similar to the one sitting the UPS truck so I quickly chose it and ordered it to be over-nighted to me. Unfortunately the dress wasn't that impressive. I'm thankful that I was able to have something to wear, but the skirt was a little too full for my taste and it almost felt like I was wearing a costume not a dress for New Years Eve. Also the neoprene fabric was very thick and really made me feel like I was wearing a wet suit. I would not recommend this dress.

I ordered this dress for a wedding and did not love it once it arrived. The material was not very flattering and very bulky... Made me look bigger then I am. I returned it and did not wear it. I would suggest going down a size, if you do choose this dress.
