This was a stunner. It was so simple, yet so classy. The lines were lovely and you could wear any jewelry with it! The amazing stylists at RTR sent the Anton Heunis Lotus Pendant Earrings and they looked stunning. They were a little heavy, but worth it! The dress had a sleek, sporty look to it and I felt like a superstar. Thanks once again to the RTR stylists. They are making me into a little fashion diva!

I was worried the dress was going to be too simple when I ordered it. Not so! It was perfect and extremely flattering. I felt taller and thinner in it. Its great because you can dress it up as much as you want and ANY jewelry would look good with it. 10/10 would recommend. If you are over 5'5", go for the long.

I wore this dress for a formal event and I loved it. It's comfortable and simple, yet elegant. It can be dressed up or dressed down. . If you are 5'6 or taller go for the long. I wish there had been a long size available, but otherwise I was perfectly happy!!

I LOVED the dress. It fit really well and was extremely comfortable. The length was perfect for wearing flats. The fit was perfect for my smaller frame on top and wider (hips, thighs, and butt).

could see myself wearing this over and over again. wore to a black tie summer wedding. perfect for simple style. I'm 5'3'' and wore 3 inch heels and it was still pretty long but I wasn't tripping over it. it had a great neckline.

I am so obsessed with this dress it hurt to send back. I wore for a gala, and couldn't have been happier with my decision (this was actually my backup dress). The dress is VERY simple, but I liked that. I was a bit nervous about fit, as I carry most of my weight in my hips - but the dress fit and flattered. Sizing: True to size. Generally wear a 6, and the 6 fit great. The bust area was a bit large, with with a blackless/strapless bra had no problem. Length: I'm 5'6 and the Regular was JUST long enough. Anyone taller than me is going to need to order the tall length. The dress is, I believe 100% silk - there is a lining inside, but it's not very thick. I wasn't able to wear shapewear underneath, the lines were VERY visible.

I wore this to a military ball. I thought it was very true to size and height. I loved this dress and had no problems with it at all!!

The fit was true to size. I'm 5"9 and wore the long with 3 inch heels and it was perfect. I have wider hips so it was a little fitted in the mid section, but nothing spanx couldn't smooth out for me. One of my favorite rentals so far!!

Dress is incredibly comfortable. I got the 4L since it was the only size left; could probably have gotten the 2L but it would have been tighter. A little bit of room was nice, as it made it easier to dance in! I'm a little bustier on top too, so overall I was really happy with the fit. Got a ton of compliments all night!

This was actually the "back up dress" which I ended up liking better then the one I got in 2 sizes. I have an "athletic" build, 5'6", 140 lbs, wore a 6R which fit like a glove. Was a little worried that is was "fitted at the hips", but fit well and was slimming. Couldn't be happier with the Rent the Runway service, will definitely use again!

This dress is a stunner. Fit like a dime. It's one of those dresses thats universally flattering. Its very simple and classy, but its got some sass in it. I wore gold sky scraper earrings and a gold necklace....... I knowww i broke the golden rule. But. hey it was prom.. and YOLO

Loved this gown, was so simple and chic. I would recommend sizing down in the back up unless you carry your weight in your hips/tights/backside. I felt that there was extra room in the skirt esp. on the sides.

Great dress. Did not feel over dressed or under dressed to a work black-tie event. The 0L was the only size left, so it was a little long but still able to move around and hold up if need be. If I were to rent again, I would go with the 0R. Overall, it was beautiful and I received many compliments. Thanks RTR!

I chose this dress because it was in the bump friendly section - it's a lovely dress that fell nicely - but it was NOT bump friendly. The waist band is thread, not elastic, so when I would sit down I would have to hike it up over my bump. That obviously wouldn't work when standing as it would be way too short. I'd recommend for someone who doesn't have a bump (even if it's a small bump like me)!

The dress fit true to size. I'm a 4, wore a 4. I'm small on top and it wasn't baggy/big at all. It is lovely, but VERY simple - be sure to have some flashy jewelry or shoes on hand to make this very elegant black dress some life. Loved wearing it - but not to thrilling in pictures. The back and necklines are super flattering, but subtle.

I am typically a size 2/4 and went with the 2L for this dress. The dress is cut at ankle length, so the Long was the perfect length with heels! It is so comfortable, strapless bra can be worn, and I have gotten endless compliments every time I wear it! Highly, highly recommend :)

This dress fit like a dream. The bottom had some wear and tear if you looked up close, but it couldn't be noticed by anyone but me. It was the perfect length on me - I wish I owned this dress!

I wore this dress for a friend's wedding and didnt want to return it! It was so elegant, simple, but GORGEOUS at the same time. The material was a bit wrinkled when it arrived, but all I did was hang it in the bathroom while I showered and the steam in the room removed the wrinkles. The dress looks great with simple, understated jewelry. It was easy to walk in, comfortable against my skin, and a dress that I could see renting for NUMEROUS occasions in the future. Flattering, can work for multiple body types

incredibly flattering, and the cut was perfect - showed off my collar bone without showing too much skin. was able to totally hide a strapless bra. length was perfect with 3 3/4" heels. loved!

Such a perfect dress. I wore it to a black tie affair, but was unsure exactly how dressed up I needed to be. This was a perfect dress, because it is simple but elegant. Very versatile....can be dressed way up, or kept simple. Flattering cut. I am fairly tall with no hips and athletic build. Get the long if you want to wear heals. I also ordered 6R and it was too short (even for flats). Not much difference in overall fit for 4 and 6. Just make sure you get correct length based on your height and heels.

Loved this dress so much that I am scouring the internet in hope of buying one. It runs a tad bit long but that is its only flaw!

Loved this dress! My favorite of all the dresses I've rented through the years and it was actually by backup! Fit was perfect and at 5'0 so was the length with 3 1/2" heels. Definitely recommend this one!

This is a great dress. It is very forgiving and seems like it would suit a lot of different body types. It was borderline too long (even in the R size), so I ended up having to wear platform sandals (4 inch) to keep it from dragging on the floor. I would definitely order it again for another occasion. I wore it to a gala auction and the style and amount of dressiness was just right.

Loved wearing this dress- the silhouette kept it from being a boring black dress, the fit was perfect- not to snug, but still showed off my shape. I typically wear more a-line silhouettes because I have bigger hips so I was concerned that this wasn't going to be forgiving enough- I went up to a size 4 because of this and it was perfect. It totally worked and I felt extremely comfortable the entire night in. My only gripe was that it was slightly too long- I chose a long length based on the reviews and the fit notes, but at 5'7" plus 3 1/2" heels, it was still just a bit too long for me and I had to hold it up while dancing otherwise I was stepping on the hem.

Fit perfectly! Looked great with a thick gold collar necklace. Perfect length. No complaints! Wish I owned it.

Loved this dress! Felt extremely elegant and received compliments all night! Got the 6L and still felt it was too short so I recommend getting a L size.

I am about 5'5 and I was unable to wear heels with the dress due to the length. I worked perfectly with flats but it was to short for heels of any height.

I have a slim hour glass figure and ordered the 4R and the 2L but the 2L was out of stock so I only got the 4R. It barely grazed the floor barefoot and I considered wearing flats but was able to wear 2" heels with it looking presentable. The neckline was my favorite part and was not too high or tight. The under slip was a little tight in the hips but had an over layer which fell nicely so no bumps or hugs were seen. I ended up not wearing a bra at all with it and it was fine, the keyhole in the back showed my strapless so I decided to forego it. I got a lot of compliments on it and was very comfortable all night.

I rented the 0L for a black tie wedding, however I did not wear it. I normally wear a 0R but that size was unavailable. The dress is really pretty, very simple but chic. The length of the dress was fine for my 5'7" height and while wearing 4 inch heels. However the 0L was too long in the torso and the waist of the dress fell too far on me. I think that the 0R would've fit just fine for me and I plan to rent it on another occasion because the style of the dress is really pretty. If you normally wear a 0L this dress will probably fit nicely.

This dress fit true to size, but I think I was a bit too short for it at 5'2". I wore 5 inch heels, and my heel kept getting caught in the back of the dress' hem. So i would recommend it for anyone over 5'3". Love the fit and look of the dress though. Very pretty, and classy.

Simple yet classy dress that has lots of room for accessories

This was my first RTR experience and overall, I was very happy with my choice! (not to mention the customer service was wonderful) This dress was lovely for a wedding. The picture doesn’t do the back justice, it’s just gorgeous. I received a lot of compliments and was very comfortable all night. I am just under 5’8’’ and I really wish I would have opted for the 6 long – it was a tad short. But I paired it with a cool pair of snakeskin wedges, so it was ok. My one complaint is that it was just a tad tight across the hip area…. But not too tight that I felt uncomfortable. I recommend this dress for a formal event!

Wore this to an outdoor wedding and it was great. Easy to wear and can be accessorized a million different ways. Girls with a pear shape - it's hard to wear a bra with this one, which I needed to make my figure look more 'balanced', but I said screw it and just wore pasties to prevent THO. Great dress! I highly recommend!

The dress is beautiful and looks great in photos and is very comfortable. The 0 fit me perfectly but was about 2 inches too short when I put heels on--I normally don't have a length issue so that was surprising. The 2 was just long enough but was a little baggy, but I managed to make it work. Would just suggest getting the long version if you are taller than about 5'5".
