I wore this for a rehearsal dinner. I paired it with a statement necklace and strappy shoes to help make it not quite so work-like. This dress fit me really well and was really flattering. If you have a straighter figure or are apple shaped, you may be able to go a size down. It wasn't tight in the rear at all, and that's where dresses are generally a little snug on me.

I wore this dress to speak on a panel, and I felt classy and professional for the event! I paired it with black tights and black booties to dress it down a little, since the panel was in the morning. The dress runs really true to size and is a great length if you're on the shorter side like me! It's also great if you're straight up and down - it gives you a great feminine silhouette. Loved ti and will definitely rent again!

I paired the dress with black tights and black heels. I'd recommend cinching your waist (like I did)with a belt to balance out all the material gathered by your hips! The bottom portion was a bit more loose fitting than I had expected, which caused me to categorize it as a great pick for a professional setting (versus a date/girls night out).

I didn't actually wear this dress - RTR sent it to me because they didn't have my chosen dress in size 10, but I ended up wearing that dress in a smaller size. I still tried this on and actually loved it! My event was a fall wedding so this dress wouldn't really have been appropriate in my opinion - it's more professional than fun - but I would definitely rent this for a business event. It fit like a glove and the peplum was extremely flattering on my figure. Although the dress is more fitted which I'm not usually comfortable with, I felt great in this and it's definitely true to size. The pattern is more noticeable in person than in the photos which is a plus.

I ended up not getting to wear this dress at all because the person who rented the size 10 before me left it in such damaged shape that they could only send me the 8! and it was incredibly well made and super cute but there was no way the 8 was zipping up in back over my boobs! I can often wear an 8 but in things this structure I need a size 10 or even a 12. I had to return the 8 but it would have been perfect for my job interview with a blazer!!! So sad I didn't get to wear it. :(

I rented this to wear to a fall wedding & got lots of compliments. I wore it with black tights & heels, then changed into tall boots for the after party. I would definitely rent this again for a date, rehearsal dinner or presentation at work.

I am 5'1" and 110 lbs so things are often too long. It fit perfect; not too tight or snug and a great length for an engagement party. I am almost always a 0 and this was a perfect fit, did not cling at all so was very comfortable. The only thing a little strange that is hard to notice on the computer is the print is stars. Like rainbow brite stars. But you only noticed if looking up close so even people standing beside mostly thought it was a solid maroon-like dress. Very slimming and comfortable. Made me look a lot taller than I really am.

I rented this for a job interview and it was just what I was hoping for. I am short, so the length was perfect for a corporate setting. Looked very cute with a cropped blazer and black tights.

This dress is great for a more conservative look, wore it for my niece's baptism and got tons of compliments! it is sexy and classy at the same time :)!

I'm relatively short, have narrow hips, and not much of a waist. This dress fit my frame well - probably is best for shorter and less curvy girls.

This dress was great for a work event. It's pretty heavy and dark, so I would recommend in the winter months.

Dress runs pretty true to size, except the arm holes were a little tight on the 4, so I bumped up to the 6. I'm 5'2 and it hit just above my knee, very professional length.

I wore this to an an afternoon christening. I had ordered the 0 and the 2 as my back up size. I am usually in between sizes and could've gotten away with either one. I decided to go with the 2 because it was roomier in the chest and the peplum covered up the fact that it was loose at the waist. It was a little short, even for me. I received many compliments and highly recommend this dress. As always, Rent The Runway service was timely and the dress arrived in like new condition.

The dress was a little short and smaller than a TIBI size 4 usually is.

I was in between the 2 and the 4 and the 2 was a tad bit too tight and the 4 I was swimming in so I had to exchange for a completely different dress. Besides the fit problem, I felt the dress was pretty boring as well. Definitely my least favorite rental but still love RTR!

the 8 was a bit loose, but the 6 seems tight at the bust and also was really short

I loved this dress, but as others said, it's really more professional than sexy. The only issue I had was finding something warm to wear over it, since the line of the peplum made most cardigans and cropped jackets look weird, and it was too cold to wear without anything.

Fit was snug for a 4 since i usually wear a 2.

I got this for a NYE party and it didn't have enough zing. There is a star print that really was much more noticeable than in photo. It was ok I guess but the print made it feel very casual.
