I'm 5'5 and the length was perfect. I wore flats. It hid all of my imperfections. I would highly recommend this dress. I wore this to a Red Carpet event and it was perfect

I rented the 14W and the 16W as a back up. I wore the 14W. The fit was perfect with spanx. I wore 3" heels, and I am 5'0" tall. It did hit the floor and I had to make sure that no one stepped on it. I am a 40J and my strapless bra didn't work. So, I wore it without a bra and didn't have a problem. It was comfortable and I received compliments all night long. This is my favorite rental so far. I want to rent it again when I am around different people, that is how much I loved it!

True to size

I was concerned because I'm 5'1 but, the dress was Perfect! Hit at the perfect spot at the bottom (I wore a small heel). The dress got perfectly! I was well pleased and received many compliment about how beautiful the dress was and how well it fit me. 40DD, wide shoulders, 5'1, and a little over 200lbs.

Never thought I would love this dress as much as I did. It's truly beautiful on and makes you feel amazing. It runs true to size, although I would size up for back up since the fabric has no stretch. There's comfortable room in the bust making this dress perfect for any cup size. It's more fitted in the waist and hips, curvier women should consider sizing up. The gown was tea length on me at 5'9" and still looked good, although it was intended to be floor length. The dress can be worn with a standard, nude bra.

This was a backup dress that was sent to me because my original wasn't available. I ended up wearing this one and not the original one I ordered. The dress is comfortable and hugs in all the right places. The top is lower cut but with a strapless bra it still looks classy with a little sexy in there. I would 100% recommend this dress.

I've struggled a little with my weight and confidence for a while, but this dress exceeded my expectations. The sizing was a little big, but not so much that it wouldn't work. I would recommend sizing down if you can (I couldn't go to a 12, but the 14 was still fine). The contrasting fabric in the top, middle, and bottom makes the dress seem to stand out and fit your body in the best way. The detail at the top of the dress was breathtaking, and I loved being able to see through the bottom just a bit. Although the dress is low, I didn't feel like it was immodest. I was also able to wear a regular bra which is always good. This was my first RTR experience, and it was great! It's a big help to see real women in real dresses!

This is such an intricate style! The lace detailing really sets this gown apart from any other. I would suggest wearing a strapless bra, just because the coverage is a little sparce on the top. There is a built-in tummy panel to help smooth out any trouble areas. There is plenty of room in the bust and the lace is soft and comfortable. This is definitely an elegant style that would be perfect for a spring black-tie event.

I wore this for work, a fundraising gala. I wore simple shape-wear and regular bra underneath. In street clothes, I generally wear XL tops and size 18 jeans. The size 16 in this dress was very comfortable! I am 5'3" and wore 3" heels. Two minor reasons I did not give the dress five stars... A few times, the back of my heel would get stuck in the lace at the bottom of the dress. Also, the ivory color material on the top appeared a little dingier than I expected. I think I would've liked a brighter shade of ivory, but it really is a gorgeous dress.

I was sent this dress by RTR after my second size as well as my alternate selection were unavailable. I had no idea my alternate was also unavailable until I received my shipping notice and saw that another dress had been sent with my order. I hated the dress from the pictures on the website, but when the dress I originally picked didn't fit well I decided to try this on. And I must say I was super surprised with how nice it looked once I put it on. And it was incredibly comfortable! The embroidery on this dress is absolutely beautiful! And the material is a nice weight. If you want it to grace the floor with heels I would opt for the long. I wore the regular with about 4in heel and the dress hung just below my ankles. It wasn't what I had asked for but it turned out to be just what I needed for the night!

Fit: seemed to run large. I thought I would wear the 18, but I ended up using the 16 and felt like I could've actually ordered a 14. Particularly the waist seemed like it could be taken in an inch or two. Pros: shipment, communication, packaging, RTR has a reputation for excellence that did not disappoint. The dress arrived in perfect condition with very clear instructions. Cons: felt as though it ran a bit large, and I had to wear something underneath since the sheer part on the top went quite low Overall: gorgeous dress for an event, loved my first experience with RTR and would absolutely rent again after this experience.

Was a beautiful dress

I felt like a million bucks in this dress. It was body skimming but not clingy so it looked and felt great. I will be renting this dress again, no doubt.

I rented this for a black tie gala in the spring. It was so cute! My husband was sad he had to work and couldn't attend because he thought the dress was elegant and sexy. Great gown for curvy girls.

The dress ran a little long for my 5'3" body, even with my tallest heels. But that was the only down side of this dress. I wore it to a black tie optional wedding in the fall and I got SO many compliments. It was super flattering and I felt so glamorous in it. Wish I could buy it!

I'm 5'0 and a DD chest. I wear between a 14 & 16 size and I ordered the 16 and if fit wonderfully. Had to buy a different bra (which was almost right) but be aware that the lace does show through so try on the bra which cannot be a full coverage bra without showing through. I had to wear heels, not crazy tall, but enough to make the dress not drag on the floor. It is so comfortable, and moves really well with you. It was refreshing to have a bit of fun with the neckline being high but not restrictive and a little sexy with the lace showing just enough. I'm so happy with this choice.

We got this dress for my wife, who is 5'3" and 180 pounds and a 38C. This dress was very large on her, one size down would have fit better. I don't think she would have worn it anyways, as it's a little too safe.

Loved this dress. It hugged my chest and hips perfectly. I love that the bottom is transparent which makes this more of a fun dress than a matronly one. I wore it to an orchestra concert and a musical. It was perfect.

This dress was actually very comfortable! The open lace at the bottom provided coverage and formality without being overly formal. The top has ample room for a large bust but, you run the risk of looking dowdy if the girls are not in the right place. Overall good dress.

I have an hourglass shape, so was a little too big up top but overall was great

This was a backup dress that I didn't end up wearing, but it's a lovely dress. My husband said it looked a bit matronly, so it might be more suited for someone looking for something 'not so young looking'. I wear a 14WR and the dress fit like a glove, I thought it was completely true to size. I'm 5'4" and barefoot the dress almost touched the ground- so it's shorter than I expected and a tall woman might not be able to wear big heels with this. I have a 38G bust and this dress accommodated that, so it will definitely work for a full bust. Overall, I would recommend this.

This was sent to my mom after her first dress did not work out. First the people with the company are amazing and did all they could to help us and make sure my mom felt gorgeous! This dress fit her very well and very extremely comfortable for her. She is very busty and was able to wear a normal bra with it. She ended up wearing another dress but she loved this dress as well and would rent it again. its very flattering very women who are more busty.

The occasion wasn't as formal as I imagined so I opted for a shorter dress instead. I tried this on and it was lovely. Wish I had occasion to wear it.

The dress is a bit frumpy - it cuts the body off and unless you are super thin, it looks too matronly and doesn't do a thing for an hourglass figure. The white part of the dress is more of an "antique" off white than what is shown in the pic.
