Ideally you need a cups/strapless bra.

Fit true to size for me. The back is a see through mesh, which I didn't realize. However, I was still able to wear a nude strapless bra that was hardly noticeable. The zipper is difficult, and required an extra set of hands. I was comfortable all night in this. I did wear 3 or 4 inch heels, and it was a little too short. I would have been better with a 2 regular. (I didn't realize how tall my heels were!)

The fit of the dress is true to size. It accentuates your curves beautifully. I didn't need to wear a bra, and I was still able to wear spanx, without t showing through. It was comfortable and easy to walk in. I wore 3inch heels, I had to pick it up a little, but the slit in the middle made it easier. Overall a wonderful dress, and it was a back up!! I would definitely wear this dress again, and other from the designer.

This dress has just enough stretch to be fitted and very comfortable. I'm 5'4" and wore 2.75" tall heels--this didn't drag. I wore bra cups but would probably be good with a regular bra. It looks conservative but is very flattering.

Love this dress, but the 2R was not long enough for my 5'5" frame. The dress is true to size. Pros- the material has a good amount of thickness to it and easily hides a bit of tummy pudge. The cut and design of the dress does a great job creating a curvier silhouette for athletic body frames. The dress does not have much stretch to it. I've ordered a replacement dress for this event in a 2L, so I can comfortably wear with heels. Great eye catching dress that will allow you to tastefully shine at a formal affair.

This dress was sent as a backup to the original that I chose, and it's not something I would have chosen for myself. I'm so glad I was able to wear this! Compliments all night, the back detail is gorgeous, and the fit is perfect!!

The original dress I ordered wasn't available, so I had to pick this replacement quickly. I was very happy with it. I ordered the 2P because the last time I ordered a gown I ordered the Regular and I was stepping on it during the whole party. This was the perfect length, and I wore two inch heels. It was a bit snug in places, but that is they way it is supposed to fit, because it looked right and wasn't uncomfortable. The material is heavy and stretchy so very comfortable and gives warmth at a winter party. The slit lets you show some leg, which gave this simple dress a little splash of sexy!

Beautiful classic look. Very form fitting. The upper part of the dress as well as the front slit made it stand apart. I'm only 5'0 so I did need to use hem tape (even with a 5" heel!)

Fit like a glove, length was great with a 3" heel. Loved the graphic geometric white square details. Eye catching but not flashy.

This dress fit great, was made well and so comfortable for a opening night of Pittsburgh's Style Week. It not only was slimming, but accentuated my curves, booty without looking too tight due to the forgiving material. This was a replacement dress for another one that was returned too late and boy was it a hit! I felt glamorous the entire night and received a ton of compliments. Make sure you wear pasties (I'm a C cup and I did) or a backless bra with this dress.

Extremely flattering, especially to the backside =) I wore a corset type bra, the back is sheer so you would need something that goes very low in the back.

The dress is stunning...but it fits like a glove. So if you're looking for a dress that hugs all your curves...this is a classy way to go. Anderson Cooper said he liked it...so pretty good thumbs up :)

Wore this for a black tie wedding. The 4L fit like a glove and was the perfect length with 4.5 in heels (I'm 5'7"). Dress was a bit snug through my shoulders and chest- I have broad, athletic shoulders- but not tight enough to merit sizing up. A show stopper that made me feel glamorous. No spanx necessary as the fabric is thick and holds you in!

I rented this dress as part of my unlimited subscription. I ended up going with another dress that was a bit more flows but it was a tough decision. I'm 5'1" and the 2P fitted me perfectly. The back of this dress is very modern. There is not a whole lot of stretch in the material but it is well constructed and I would require any Spanx and special bra.

Wore this dress to a non-profit fundraising gala and received tons of compliments. Dress fit true to size and is made of a quality heavy fabric. Very complimentary and showy of my hourglass figure. Requires a NuBra or any backless bra as the back is mesh and see through. I'm 5'2" and wore 3-4" heels and the length was perfect.

Loved this dress. True to size. It has some stretch. The slit is appropriately sexy but not too much. You'll need pasties or a low strapless bra.

So many compliments! It's different enough without being too crazy. The zipper is really tough, impossible to get on/off alone. It runs a smidge tight so if you're really on the border, size up. Other than that, fit very true to size - I'm 5'6", 115 pounds and wore a 0R. I did have to wear it with 3 inch heels, 4.5 inch heels made this too short. Makes the booty look FAB :)

I ordered 4 dresses originally, two dresses in sizes 4 and 6. A week before the dance I checked on my order and the size 4 for the dress I was planning on wearing was cancelled! I panicked because I figured the 4 was going to be the one to fit. I called RTR customer service and explained what had happened and they were so helpful and kind. They let me pick out a new dress to be sent and I selected this one. When I tried on the dresses this was the one that actually fit and it looked so great. I loved the dress. I got so many compliments and it fit great. I wish it was tighter in the waist but it was still flattering. The slit isn't too high and it makes it easier to walk and spices the dress up a little bit. Super comfortable and effortless to wear. Wore 3 inch heels and it was great. Fantastic dress! Theia makes the most beautiful, high quality, and well fitting dresses. This one was quite fitted but still gorgeous. I didn't want to send it back.

Hugs every curve of the body. The slit is the perfect length. Very sophisticated but also sexy. Would rent again for a black tie event.

I wore this dress to prom and it fit great! I liked the tighter fit of the 0 better but the length was too short so I wore the 2L. Overall beautiful dress and would definitely recommend!

i tried it on in the store about a week prior and either i gained a bunch of weight in between or the one they sent was a touch smaller, but the one that arrived felt smaller and tighter. it was fine though. I almost didnt try the dress on b/c i was worried about the leg slit, but it was perfect and didnt bother me at all.

The dress fits tight, but true to size. I LOVED the slit. Very soft material. I wore a tape on bra because the see through back went down below my bra line. I loved how I didn't have to worry about anything falling out or showing. I wish the front of the neckline wasn't so high, but I just added bold earrings and it was fine.

I rented this dress for a Hollywood themed black tie gala. It was absolutely gorgeous...it was tight, but Angelina tight, not Mariah tight. The slit was the best part. I didn't want to give it back!

This dress runs true to size. Since the only available size at the time was a 2L I had to go with no bra due to it being to tight in the bust but it was completely fine. I would have preferred a size bigger just to have a little bit more room to move but the 2L was fine. I wore 3.5" heels and the dress was a little long but not so much that you couldn't walk without tripping. The back has a train which I absolutely loved!! I didn't realize until I received the dress that it has a split...it was the best part of the dress!! It hit me about mid thigh and added just the right amount of sexiness. It also has the satin seem down the back which really grabs your attention. Overall a great dress.

I wore this gown for a gala at the Waldorf Astoria. I loved the intricate detail at the top of the dress. It was super form fitting and flattering. Even the length worked for me! I would definitely rent again!

As the other reviews noted, this dress runs slim through the hips. I have an hourglass shape and it was VERY tight on my hips and thighs. The material is thick and hid imperfections. Even with the snug fit, I almost opted to wear this gown. It really is gorgeous! I am 5’2” and the 6 petite was a perfect length with 3” heels. I would definitely order this dress again as a backup.

This was my initial pick but I wore my back up choice only for the drama it presented but the fit of this gown was perfect. The details on this gown are beautiful. If you can wear your hair up it will show the full back of the dress. The satin strip that runs down the back of the gown creates a lasting visual impression that will have people watching you walk away all night! It will not disappoint.

This was my 3rd backup and I am so glad for that, because it was a lovely gown. Super flattering and sexy without being revealing. A bra wasn't crucial, but I did feel better in a NuBra, just to keep the girls up. A gorgeous gown I'd rent again as a 1st choice. Compliments all night long. Thanks for making me feel beautiful!
