I wore this to an award show where my husband was nominated. It wasn't a super formal event but most people dress pretty nicely. Taking the dress out of the bag I loved the color and it's a pretty simple and flattering fit. I'm generally a size 16 and this one was a tiny bit large on my body, especially so in the chest, so I didn't even try on the 18 that I ordered as back up. I think I might have even been able to fit into a 14 but didn't order it so I went with what I had. I'm 5'9" in flats and the length worked for me, but I think I could've ordered the long dress and been ok too.

This is a great alternative to a black gown! The contrast of navy and black combined with the high-low hem makes this gown stand out in a crowd. The hemline is great for shorter women and it still maintains a very elegant look. The material is thicker and there is plenty of room in the bust. Another plus for this style is that, although it's a gown, there are pockets!

Loved the pockets too! I have worn it two times to two different events! Pockets were great too!

Wonderful dress for a formal occasion!

I am 5'4" and this was a perfect choice - the front hem skimmed my ankles and the rear hem was almost like a small train. The shoulder to waist proportion was perfect and the dress draped nicely. I needed this for a formal affair for work - so the fact that it was understated, no cleavage and no bling made it 100% appropriate. The pockets were perfect for business cards and I could wear this with evening flats.

The color is beautiful, it shines and it has pockets! I should have trusted the site and recommendations and ordered to my size a little better than I did, first timer on the site - but even with it being a little big on me, I loved it. Very easy to wear and overall a fun dress to have!

The design of this dress is great, very unique. I normally wear a size 20 but the 18 was still quite large on me, especially in the bust. This would be a great dress for someone with a very large chest as it is not revealing and there is a ton of room in the top.
