Perfect for petite size

I was nervous about the sizing because my hips are wide, but it fit perfectly! The blue is a rich contrast to the classic black and the high low style made the dress feel more young and flirty. The fabric is rather heavy which helped against wrinkles during travel.

When my other dress from RTR wasn't available to ship, they sent me this dress as a replacement. I'm SO glad they did! I ended up loving this dress infinitely more than the dress I planned to wear and people complimented it all night long. It fit wonderfully and I was comfortable to dance all night. 10/10 recommend this dress!

The dress fits true to size. The fabric is rich and gorgeous. The style lines create a modern twist on a classic and elegant silhouette. Plus the dress has pockets !!!! Tons of compliments and the perfect look for the wife of the best man !

I loved wearing this dress. Comfortable, classy, showcases cute shoes and most importantly? POCKETS! No special undergarments required, top half is perfectly fitted and a bit tight if you're well endowed. Elegant fabric and color block. I'd pair with larger earrings and no necklace.

It was a last minute change of plans so I ended up with a dress that was a little too long, but I loved it. It's higher in the front than the back so I still couldn't trip on it! I picked the dress out at the Topanga RTR store after my other options didn't fit. It is beautiful when you see it in person, even better than the pictures. I got tons of compliments so RTR got free advertising all night.

The shape of the dress is gorgeous and the deep royal blue is really elegant.

I didn't order this dress, and it didn't stick out to me online, but once I tried it on, I loved the dress! It made me feel pretty and I really love the material, fit and movement of the dress. It actually came as my back-up size for a different dress, but I ended up liking this dress better than the one I had ordered.

I wore this for a night time, winter, very formal, black tie optional wedding in NYC. I loved this dress! It was very comfortable. The material and length was perfect for the occasion and time of year. I ordered the long as I am already almost 5'6" and adding 4 inch heels definitely puts me on the tall side. It ended up being the perfect length. The above the ankle length in front make walking stairs, and dancing very easy. I have very wide long hips so the shape of the dress was perfect and forgiving all in the right places. Also perfect for concealing lower tummy if that is a problem in form fitting dresses. I got many compliments. Very classy an conservative look. Great paired with detailed/strappy shoes.

Rented this for a banquet i host. I am constantly moving and standing g in front of a large crowd - this dress was perfect. Great fit, fun pockets, easy to move around in, and super classy. It's my favorite dress so far, I wish it lived in my closet!

This was not the original dress I picked out, however the size I needed was not available as the previous renter didn't return the dress (frustrating). The dresses that were sent to me were too big. I called a stylist Friday morning and picked out this dress. It was sent out Overnight to the destination were the wedding was taking place. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE I was nervous about this dress, worried it was going to be too small.... IT FIT PERFECT! It looked amazing and classy. The colors were beautiful, the fabric was luxurious. I received many compliments, even by complete strangers! It was a perfect dress for a formal winter wedding. I WILL DEFINITELY USE RENT THE RUNWAY AGAIN!

It's a little boring, but fits well, and is really nicely made!

I am 5'4" and 125lbs. The 4R fit perfectly with my 34B bust. I wore slight heels and it wasn't too long like I feared it might be. The pockets were surprisingly indiscrete! Perfect for a Cell phone. The material traveled well and felt very luxurious.

Stylish, ageless and comfortable! Fits true to size, fitted bodice and A line skirt made this chic and comfortable. The high low hem hem gave it a flirty flare. I didn't want the train effect, so I wore the regular length, dress just brushed the heel of my shoes in the back. Cell phone and lipstick fit in pockets. Color was regal and just enough sheen to dazzle! Tons of compliments all night. Another RTR win!

I wore this dress to a fundraiser gala and received many compliments. It was very comfortable to wear as well. I am 5'4" and 4R was a perfect length with a medium sized heel. The top was a slightly big but I am pear shaped/small chested. I'm glad I rented this dress!

This gown was an absolute knockout at my job's annual gala. I find the combination of blue/navy and black incredibly chic, and this dress embodies that sophistication completely. It accentuates the shape in a really classy way, and the fabric is beautiful and adapts well to different temperatures. I wore it on an especially warm late spring night and was afraid I would be too hot, but the dress was surprisingly breathable. Size up if you have a broad back and shoulders (unfortunately this is the case with most evening gowns). I received compliments all night.

I received a ton of compliments on this dress. The style was perfect for an evening wedding. Fitted at the top and room to show my dance moves on the bottom. I am a 6 top and 8 bottom so prefer a more A-line dress if I can't try on. I'm not busty and the top fit me well, that may be a problem for anyone who is more well endowed up top. Several people asked if I had it made because it fit so well. Loved it, will go with this designer again.

The dress I really wanted was not available on the dates I needed, but now I'm so glad it wasn't! I received numerous compliments on this dress. It was so comfortable and even hid the food baby I developed after dinner! The cut is great for someone who wants a defined waste but has a little chunk near the hips to hide. I did not want to turn it in. :/ I would rent it again in a heart beat!

Gorgeous dress! Fit pretty true to size (a little roomy, I'm usually a 16W and this was just a tiny bit loose) and was uber-comfortable. I could wear a regular bra and panties, no shapewear or nylons needed. Lots of room in the bust, which was a nice change. Nice fabric and I easily wore flats (I'm 5'6"), though the height difference in the front and back hem lines would likely be more dramatic with heels. Colors aren't quite as vibrant as in the store photo, especially at a black tie event with dim lighting. But I still received lots of comments. And the pockets were spectacular! It came packaged in a box and was wrinkled beyond belief. Plan on spending 30-45 minutes ironing the crap out of this dress to get it event-ready. Even with that, I would definitely rent it again!

I ordered an 8 and a 10. Ended up with the 8. Super comfortable. Got lots of compliments that evening and weeks to follow.

I LOVED this dress! It was comfortable and incredibly flattering. I've never received as many compliments as I did in this dress. It fit me perfectly and the train made me feel like a princess all night. As it was a work event, I wanted to feel like I could really move and this dress made me feel that way! I was able to wear it with flats and the pockets came in handy for holding my walkie-talkie as well as an iPhone and a portable charger during the event. Additionally, I loved having a dress that I could wear a full bra with, as that is always more comfortable than a strapless!

This dress was wonderful. It fit perfectly, the material was beautiful and very structured. I am a classical violinist and I rented it to perform at the ceremony for an award I was receiving, and I received compliments on the dress all night.

Can I just say that this dress is amazing!! Reluctantly, I chose this as a back-up option after I wasn't able to receive my original dress due to damage (ladies, let's be kind to the dresses!). This dress worked so much better and was more than I could have imagined. Needless to say, I could not have been happier with it. Truly a gorgeous gown that makes you feel elegant and was by far the most comfortable dress I've ever worn. Many compliments and would rent it again! I could have worn the 2L, but it wasn't available.

The Theia dress fits true to size, It could have been a bit longer, but I loved the high low affect of the hem line. I asked for a 4 and a 6R. Both dresses had small rips in the back lining of the hem. I suppose they have been stepped on by previous renters. RTR offered to send a 6L to replace, but I chose to wear the Regular. I can wear a size 4 or 6, but have discovered over the years of renting from RTR designer dresses run small. I wore 3 inch heels.

I'm typically between a 0 and a 2 but the 0 was WAY too tight. The 2 was absolutely perfect. I received compliments all night. And I appreciated being modestly attired at DAR Gala. It's a very tight bodice so definitely check the size chart on the dress. it fits true to size. I can't imagine having a large bust than I did and fitting into the 2. The difference between the blue and black is much less pronounced in person which was slightly disappointing just due to the theme, but I seriously can't compliment this dress enough. I wish I didn't have to return it... And the RTR crew was amazing. the first dress I order didn't fit in the least and so they overnighted this dress to me but when I checked the tracking on Friday it said it wasn't going to be delivered until MONDAY!!! I called customer service borderline freaking out because there was no way the original dress was going to fit. The wonderful woman I spoke with found the same dress in the correct sizes and had them overnighted to my hotel with delivery required before 6 PM (my event was at 9)

I originally ordered the dress in a 6R but it didn't fit because I know I'm only squeezing into a 6. This dress is true to size so be realistic about what you can wear. I also ordered it longer because I wanted it to touch the ground. The 8L was a perfect fit. I don't have much in the chest area and the bodice fits so that worked perfect. I had to order the 8L the day before and it was at my house by noon the next day for my event that evening. Customer service is amazing!! The dress was well packaged and free of any stains or smells. I loved the dress and received so many compliments. I will not hesitate to order another gown.

This dress fit like a dream... Wore it for the formal portion of our engagement shoot. Perfect length, I am 5 ft 9 in and wore this with ~3 inch heels. The high-low hem was amazing, the quality of the fabric was seriously luxurious and it had pockets! Can't go wrong with this dress.

The fit was perfect! I am normally either a size 4 or a 6 but I went with the 6 and it fit like a glove. I am 5'5" and I got the regular length and it also was the perfect length (although I did wear it with 2 inch heels). The onlyyy flaw that I could think of in the dress itself is the fact that the blue is a bit shiny and I'm not too crazy about that thicker material they used and the feel of it. I would probably rent this dress again for another party.

Everything about this dress was amazing. The fabric was heavy (in a good way) and felt luxurious, and the fit was perfect. I loved the short hem in the front and the mini-train at the back (maybe that was just because I was wearing the long size, but it was great). Beautiful color blocking with the blue and black made this flattering and unexpected. The fabric is substantial and the cut of the skirt means it moves elegantly. Also, pockets! I tried on the 6 which was a pretty close fit to the 8. Both were quite fitted through the bodice. If you have broad shoulders/a big chest, go with the bigger size

This dress is great for shorter women like myself (5'2" and 5'5" with heels). I tried on long dresses at Rent The Runway and they were all way too long even with heels on. This dress was perfect as it was a high-low dresses meaning it's shorter at the front so that I'm not tripping over myself and it's longer at the back.
