Another RTR success. Petite length was perfect. A little tight on top but not uncomfortable. The shimmery colors and overall fit were perfect. Best part: pockets!

This dress is so well made and unique. The metallic threads used in the fabric create the appearance of shimmer throughout the gown in varying patterns of silver, black, gold and white. The fit is very flattering, but the 10 was a bit tight in the bust and rib area. Not so tight to be unflattering, but tight enough that it made it unconfortable. I really wish the 12 had been available for rental. I would definitely recommend this rental. If I rented it again, I think i would also rent a statement necklace. My chest seemed a little bare.

Loved this dress! I received tons of compliments. I would say it runs true to size. I sized up to make sure it would fit but I could have sized down. I would recommend this dress to ANYONE! Truly beautiful!

This was my first RTR and I was pretty anxious waiting for the gown to arrive, and lord behold after stalking everyone's comments and photos and getting a size 6 it fit like a glove!! I got so many compliments at the ball and felt like a million bucks. For reference I'm 5'5 and with 4 inch heels this was perfect.

The perfect dress for "Fire & Ice" corporate event. TEAM ICE! I did not want to return this gorgeous gown - it was comfortable to wear and I've never received so many compliments! The long length was perfect with 3" heels. Corset boning nipped me in for a great fit. The pockets meant I could keep my phone with me all night - a plus when you're on the party committee. The fabric weight is definitely suited for a cool weather event and I did not get hot, even indoors.

This was a perfect fit around the waist and ribcage, however, the boning in the bust is really made for someone with a larger bust. I wore a padded strapless and still had some room. Stayed up perfectly. I ordered the 4P, but was shipped a size 4. It was a bit too long even with 3" heels. Loved the dress- would order it again. (I am a typical size 4, 110 lbs, 32C)

The dress is really tight and has no give in the bodice. That being said, it looked amazing and I felt very secure in it all night. It was not one of those strapless dresses you've got to pull up all night. Also, it has pockets! The fabric is very thick, almost like a drape. I know that sounds bad but it it wasn't. It was very luxurious looking, I felt almost overdressed, but not quite. It was for a very fancy, big blow out wedding, and a dress like this, you need the scale of the event to be big. You look like a queen in this dress, the skirt is super full and the design is simple but show stopping. Also, pockets! The color has some deep green tones in it. Its hard to tell from the pictures, but the color palette is mainly gray. I recommend sizing up. And once again, this dress has pockets!

I wore this to a fundraising ball for the hospital my husband works at. I'm usually a zero but in this, I used my backup size 2R. I'm 5' 1" around 120lbs. I needed the next size up mostly for the bust. I'm a C borderline D cup. I'm also short so even with my heals I still needed to hold the dress up whenever moving around, but it falls beautifully. I got A L O T of compliments even the MC of the event came by to say she loved the dress. I would definitely recommend this dress if you have a muscular top build and broad shoulders like myself, not much jewelry needed either the dress speaks for itself.

This dress was a dream - probably the most beautiful dress I’ve ever worn. It fit perfectly in the bust and just brushed the floor with no shoes on. I ‘m 5’7 and wanted to wear flats, so this was awesome, but if you intend to wearing heels and are taller than 5’6 or so, I’d go with the long. Anyway, this dress was fabulous, the pictures don’t do it justice. It has a shimmery, almost quilted effect. Strangers approached me all night complimenting it! I was also able to dance comfortable in it - and it has pockets!! Overall excellent experience.

Again with how amazing the pockets were, the petite was a tad short with my very high heels but that ended up being a plus because I wasn't having to hold the dress on stairs, in the restroom etc! Nude shoes worked perfectly!

I ended up wearing my larger back up size because my preferred was out of stock. I really needed the smaller, and ended up safety pinning this one in a few spots to pull it in. All that being said, though, it fit true to size, was extremely comfortable, and I loved the pockets! For a gown, it's lightweight to wear, but looked great.

Wore this dress to a black tie gala and it was perfect! The dress fit snug from the waist up, which meant I didn't have to adjust it or pull it up at all. A bra didn't fit, but it wasn't needed because the dress was supportive enough. I'm 5' 0" and wore high heels, but the dress was still about an inch too long. I was able to tuck it up under the waist and you couldn't tell, made it the perfect length. I would recommend this for a formal event!

The dress fit so perfect and received many compliments throughout the night. Was the perfect length with 2.5 inch heels. Never felt so fantastic in a dress and didn't want to return it. Another pro was the colors in the dress were so beautiful with the lights hitting it. Absolutely no cons about this dress!

This dress was so easy to wear. I was concerned that I'd be pulling it up all night but the boning kept it in place well. I wore it with a strapless bra. I have a larger chest (32DD) and the bust area fit just right. I think this dress would gap pretty badly for smaller chested ladies even though the style notes say it is best for C cup and under. Im 5'4 and had to wear 4 inch heels with the 2R and the dress JUST touched the floor. I did get tripped up a few times but overall it was fine. The dress looks very heavy but is actually quite light. I was stopped many times and told that my dress was a "show stopper" and that it was beautiful. I definitley would rebt this dress again.

Wore this for an embassy ball and got so many compliments! I recommend getting a size down as your backup since it makes the top more secure and you won't have to be pulling it up all night long

I wound up wearing this for an outdoor cocktail event when another dress didn't make it to me on time. I was thrilled by the turn of events. This was a bit more formal than I needed, but it was such a treat to wear it. It's shimmery and just thick enough to compliment any figure without being heavy and hot. If anything, the dress is incredibly comfortable -- it even has pockets! The cut was incredibly flattering. I'm surprised by the photos, because I do not have an hourglass figure, but this dress somehow managed to create one for me. It runs a bit large and I wish I had gotten a size smaller, because my husband spent much of the evening pulling it up for me, but it never slid down so much that it looked bad. The length is a bit different than in the photo of the dress in the RTR site. The dress I received didn't extend far enough to change colors as much as the dress in the RTR photo, but I was fine with that. I highly recommend wearing a corset-style (long/extended bodice) strapless bra with this dress to accentuate your bust and give you the perfect line for the dress. That was all I did. I didn't bother with Spanx or anything uncomfortable like that, and again, I'm far more of an "apple" than an "hourglass." Rent it. It's worth the extra money. I was lucky to receive it as a replacement for another dress, but I would definitely pay for this dress in the future. I felt like Cinderella.

This was last-minute back-up dress picked online when my first choice wasn't going to arrive on time. Couldn't have been happier with this twist of fate! Reading the reviews also really helped cement my choice (based on similar body styles). Color is charcoal (not green) that turns iridescent as it transitions to champagne color at hem. Fabric weight is substantial, but I wasn't too hot/great if you run cold! 2R was perfect in length (did wear ~4" heels) and bust. I never felt like it was going to fall down during the night, built-in corset did wonders for structure/support. Pockets were nice (but I didn't really use them to hold lipstick, etc.). Length was perfect for walking, sitting, and eating (not a dancer...but I could've in this dress!). Would totally rent again!

This dress fit like a glove, the fabric was amazing not just flat gray and white but iridescent. Definitely the most beautiful thing I've ever worn. The fabric is super thick so I would recommend not getting it for any summer occasions.

I wore this dress for a military ball and it was a great choice! We are currently in Hawaii so I wanted to wear a dress that was more than the ho-hum black with no personality, or looked like a prom dress. I received many compliments on myself and the dress. I would definitely recommend this gown! Fit: After reading reviews, I chose to order size 16 with a backup size of 18. I tried both on and was able to wear both. However, I felt the 16 was a little snug in the rib cage for me so I wore the 18 to the event. I was a little worried about wearing a strapless gown, but had no issues with anything slipping/falling down. To address my worry, I chose to wear a strapless bra as it added just enough bulk for my comfort. To be honest, I could've worn this gown without a bra (there's a built-in bra) and been fine. The length was just right, skimming the ground as I stood. I could've worn sneakers and no one would've known! I had zero issues with rubbing under my arms. This gown was great at hiding my fluffiness and I didn't feel the need to wear any special slimming products (perfect!). The fabric appeared to be heavy but I found it to be comfortable in weight for a long night. I was able to squat, sit, walk, and dance in this gown without problems all night long.

I wore this dress for a winter black tie party and loved it! The fabric on the dress is amazing, I honestly can't tell you what color it is because it changes color in different light. The bottom of the dress is not white, as mentioned in other reviews. The top is tight but does its job of holding everything in place. I felt royal in the dress, would highly recommend!

This was certainly a crowd pleaser and made me feel so elegant. 3 days after my prom, I'm still getting compliments on how great I looked. Fantastic dress for a fantastic occasion.

Fit was perfect for someone bigger in the chest. I loved the weight of the fabric - very expensive feeling and grand for a ball.

I wore this dress three weeks after having a baby. I thought for sure it wouldn't fit since there wasn't a lot of stretch but it fit amazingly well and was so comfortable. I loved the pockets and the color is beautiful. I'm a 38DD and the top was big but it allowed for better coverage. I received compliments all night and people were shocked that I had just had a baby. Super flattering dress.

I ordered a 6R but wound up wearing the 8R because the 6 was a little short. The dress was very comfortable. The boning was supportive enough that I didn't need to wear a bra yet I still felt secure and not worried about "the girls".

The dress fit perfectly, I am 5'8 with a bust of 34 DDD and the dress still fit perfectly as a typical 6 would

I liked this dress! The dress fit nicely and just needed some Hollywood tape on top to keep the dress in place. The bottom of the dress is more champagne than white in the photo shown by the model. I'm 5'4'', and I wore 2'' heels so the dress did not drag. I felt pretty and received a lot of compliments-stunning dress and would recommend to other girls!

The fit was fantastic! Like a glove, the material is thick perfect for winter. The fabric is a silver and black with iridescent shine as well, like a snowflake colors change as light bounces off it, so so gorgeous! Felt just as beautiful in my wedding dress as this gown. First RTR definitely not the last!

I wore this to a gala event and would totally rent it again. The dress is gorgeous and I got a ton of compliments. And it is truly comfortable! The pockets are awesome and the structure in the upper part of the dress (boning and inner bra support) were great for someone with a fuller chest like me. BUT...I would say the dress runs abut large--especially up top. And for someone with a DDD cup, that's saying a lot. I'm a pretty solid 14 at the moment and it was so big when I first tried it on that there was no way I could have worn it like that. I had to buy a super structured and padded bra to make it work--and even then I had to pin the back to my bra to keep it up. So if I rented it again, I'd size down. Also, it's pretty short! I'm only 5'4" and I could not have worn more than the kitten heels I had on without it looking weird so if you are any taller, get the long version.

The perfect party dress for any occasion. Normally wear 14 dress size and it was a perfect fit. The length was great as I am 5"3" and wore a 2" heel.

This was my first RTR experience and the customer service was excellent! I rented the Monique Lhullier dress first and that one did not work out well. I received the ornamental gown overnight rush and it was a little too big but gorgeous! I wish I would have sized down to a 20WR as the dress would have stayed up. Tried with bra and dress kept falling, wore with only the support provided in the dress don't forget to close the two clasps in the back for greater support! Have another event coming up in April can't wait to rent my next dress.

This fit exactly like a ball gown and was long enough for me and 2 inch heals.

This dress runs between true to size and large. I could've gone a size down, but they didn't have it in stock. However, I made it work! Very comfortable dress, and the pockets were icing on the cake. The fabric is heavy, but still feels light and isn't hot. I am 5'2 and wore 3.5 inch heels, then changed into flats as the night went on... so in the regular length at my height you can get away with heels or flats and no one would know the difference.. the dress is a great length.

Runs true to size, if not a little large. I wore a strapless bra, which means I could have gone down a size, as it slipped once that was on; or even have gone braless. The length is just at the ground, as other reviews stated - so I wore little kitten heels. The dress has more goldish tones at the bottom, that doesn't show up in the images. One of the compliments was from a woman from Denmark that was telling me about the Hans Christian Andersen 'Little Mermaid' story and that my dress reminded her of that. :)

The dress was the perfect length with 3 inch heals. The pockets are nice and big. It fit absolutely perfectly so I didn't need to worry about it falling down. The corset is nice and structured. The material is substantial and doesn't show wrinkles which is great.

I wore this to the 2017 Golden Globes. The 16 was a big on me though so I had to get it altered. But luckily, it was a quick, reversible fix. The dress is very regal and I got compliments all night. Also, very easy to wear a bra with if needed with a shrug. GREAT CHOICE. And POCKETS!!

It is NOT green! The information online says it is and so did the consultant I chatted with but I took a chance that it would be charcoal (we were going to a black and white NYE gala) and I'm glad I did! The dress is charcoal with silver irredescence on top and cream with gold at the bottom. As you can see, there is less of the cream than in the photos (perhaps because I got a regular length?) I rented the size up and the size down since my size was not available. The 18 was too snug and the 22 was quite big. Luckily my mother minored in fashion design and was able to baste the sides with temporary stitches so that it fit like a dream. I am 5-6 and the regular length was perfect with my sparkley flat sandals (my husband is shorter than me so I haven't worn heels in years) Everywhere I went at the Ritz Carlton that evening, I was stopped with compliments on the dress. My husband kept saying my dress was the best one there...I agree it was definitely in the top 5 (there were some amazing gowns at the event!) I loved the pockets as they allowed me to keep my camera close!
