Size was true to fit. I got so many compliments! Perfect for a summer wedding

Unfortunately, there was a last minute cancel in my size, so I only got to try on my smaller backup size. I *could* have worn it, but with the cuts, I would have feared back fat spillage. It would have been perfect for me in a 6.

Love this dress. The waist part is pretty tight though. I am normally a 4/6 and have a smaller waist but bigger hips. I ended up wearing an 8 because I was getting some back fat from the cut outs. It wasn't too bad but I just wanted to be comfortable and not worry about standing stick straight. The cut outs are really tasteful, it's only a small bit of skin. I wore it to a NOLA wedding and it was perfect! The dress has pockets which is awesome! The skirt has a nice little "pouf" . The top fit my medium chest well. I would be wary of the small waist though. I really was zipped in there!

This dress is gorgeous! The cut outs and full skirt give a thinning effect without spanks!!!! The top was a little big where the cut outs are so it didn't sit totally flush with my skin. But no one other than myself could notice. So there is plenty of room for larger busted women.

The side slits were a little wider in the back than I expected, but not uncomfortably so. It fit perfectly and the slits and pockets were a nice touch.

I ordered the 2 and the 4. The 2 fit but wouldn't have been comfortable for a long day of eating and dancing. As a result, I wore the 4, which was a tad big in the chest. I went without a bra because my strapless one could be seen in the back. Not an issue for me but someone with a bigger chest might find that a problem. Overall, I loved that the dress had pockets and the color is dramatic. Easy to accessorize with a statement necklace. I would rent it again for a summer wedding.

I got a 0 and 2, ended up wearing the 2, which fit nicely. The dress is made of a soft, stable fabric, so you don't have to worry about chafing or underwear showing. That being said the shoulders are cut in a narrow way, so I used one of those clips to hold my bra straps together at the back to prevent them from peeking out. Overall the dress was a hit and I would rent it again.

I loved this dress. The color is beautiful, and it even has pockets. The cutouts are extremely flattering and classy. I never felt too exposed. I usually wear a 4 or 6, but the 4 was too tight around my rib cage. The 6 fit great, and the cutouts hit at the bottom of my ribs/waist.

This dress was a dream to wear at a friends summer wedding. The cut outs are so cute, the color and material of the dress are so beautiful in person. It was a little tight on my chest but manageable! Also... pockets!

this was a fabulous rental! the print was gorgeous and i thought it was a great option for a festive winter event. the color is a deep pinkish-red with almost a rose-gold/coral sheen. i could have worn the 2 or 4 and didn't think there was a huge difference in the fit. i went ahead with the 4 so i wouldn't feel as self-conscious about the cutouts, but they really were tasteful and i didn't think about ever being uncomfortable with the amount of skin that was showing. i'm very short-waisted so the cutouts didn't sit as "open" on the sides as i'd imagine they would on someone with a longer torso. i did have my bra straps showing in the back, so i used a clip to clasp them together in the middle of my back and i was good to go. love the pockets, of course! totally recommend this dress if you're looking for something unique and feminine!

I rented this dress for my office holiday party. It was the perfect combination of fun yet appropriate. The fit of the dress is flattering, forgiving, AND it has pockets! The color is gorgeous in person. Some deep reds with brighter red/pink hilights, and a subtle pop of gold to draw the eye in. I got so many compliments all night and it was comfortable to wear on top of it. Total win. I would rent it again in a heartbeat :) I rented both the 0 and the 2, but opted for the 0 because the 2 was slightly too big, both in them chest and around the waist/back- the top laid funny because my chest didn't fill it out completely and the waist area was so loose you could see gaps between my skin and the dress that made it seem like you could look down the cutouts. The 0 fit great but was slightly tight around the waist depending on how you moved. Not uncomfortable but just something I noticed.

Wore this to an Indian wedding and definitely fit in with all the saris! And pockets are always a huge plus. On the downside, both sizes were a little snug around the waist which has zero give so maybe going another size up would have been a bit more comfortable. Overall though I loved the look of the dress and would definitely rent again.

The fit was comfortably snug, which is what I wanted in a cutout dress so no one could see inside the dress when I moved around. It felt good throughout the rib cage a waist so I had no problem eating, dancing, or breathing. I really liked this dress and am now open to other cutout styles.

Got this dress to wear to a wedding and it was very comfortable! Ran a little small in the waist and bust so I had to size up. Colors are great and shows just a little skin to keep it fun!

This dress is absolutely beautiful. The cut outs on the side are subtle but still made me feel cute. It is so comfortable and flattering in size. It's a different color and people will definitely compliment it

I ordered a 4 and 6, but wish I had an 8. There didn't seem to be much difference between the 4 and 6. Though the dress was a little tight around my ribs, it still looked good. The side cut outs are not too large, which I liked because I'm more conservative. The dress was long enough for my almost 6'0", so that was also a major plus. I agree with other reviews that the dress is well suited for smaller busts. The fabric is thick and the dress is well made, colors are beautiful. I would order this dress again, just in the next size up.

I did feel it ran small in the chest- I almost always wear a size 6 dress and had to size up to the 8 so I wasn't smooshed. Oh, and pockets. How can you go wrong with pockets :)

I loved this dress. It was easy to wear a regular bra with and both sizes fit me (it's quite forgiving), but I opted for the 6, which was a little more fitted on me. No weird gaping when you sit. High cutouts on the arms. Forgiving of larger hips. It had beautiful cutouts that had originally concerned me, but ultimately are cut high enough that it shows your rib, which typically is thin. The fabric is thick, which was a blessing on a chilly graduation day. I'm perpetually cold, so I added tights. I received so many compliments on this dress. Gorgeous!

The first time I saw this dress, another woman was wearing it at an event I was at. I thought it was so gorgeous that I approached her and asked her who makes it. Flash-forward a year or so later and I was thrilled to see that Rent the Runway carries this gem - couldn't resist renting for a Pakistani wedding I attended in late summer! It fit really well, was a gorgeous vibrant color and had just a hint of sheen which brought out the beautiful floral pattern. Could easily work for formal daytime or a slightly more casual evening event. Love this dress! Felt very pretty wearing it.

This dress allows you to show a little skin with elegance. I was a cut-out virgin, but this dress made me feel confident and ready to rock the dance floor. The small amount of tool under the skit did make it a little shorter than expected, I wore a pair of running shorts underneath to avoid any dance move malfunctions. You can easily wear shorts under and a normal strapless bra without worry of showing off your undergarments.

This was my first time renting from RTR and the whole experience was great! I will definitely be renting again. I rented the 6 (backup size 8), but the 6 fit perfectly. There was enough coverage that I didn't feel uncomfortable wearing it to a church wedding, but the cutouts were a fun detail. I'm a petite girl, but have a long torso so the cutouts were in the right spot. The fabric was thick but not too heavy. The skirt flares out more than pictured on the model but it's not bad (actually helps conceal the pockets) and is great when dancing. I loved this dress: the color was gorgeous, the fit was great, it was super comfortable, the cutouts were tasteful (and provided much needed ventilation when attending a sticky July wedding), the dress had pockets(!), I could wear normal underwear (a racerback bra; the dress has little snaps in the shoulder to secure the bra straps and keep them from sliding down). So many compliments.

The fit was great, the cuts were tasteful, but i still felt sexy. I received so many compliments and was sad to return the dress.

Loved the color of this dress. It is difficult to tell from the picture how gorgeous the sheen/shimmer is on the dress. The cutouts are subtly sexy without going overboard. Perfect for any summer event. I would definitely recommend it to everyone!

Tons of compliments on this one. Cut-outs and overall fit worked great with racerback bra. Wore it with nude peep toe heels and small gold earrings.

How can you beat a beautiful dress with cut-outs AND pockets??? I rented this dress for a wedding and it's the first dress I have ever worn with cut-outs. I was a little nervous about showing skin around my stomach, but the location of these cut-outs is very forgiving. I loved that you could wear a normal bra and even better this dress has bra strap stays built in!

I stepped a little out of my comfort zone with this dress but I am so happy I did. The dress was great! It fit great and made me feel so comfortable through the whole wedding . Any dress that has pockets is also a plus. I received so many compliments. I would definitely rent this one again!

I rented this dress for an outdoor cocktail attire wedding in Arizona. The weather turned out to be great, not too hot and even though there was a bit of wind the dress did not lift at all. I LOVED the color, fit, style and that the dress had pockets. This was by far one of my favorite rentals... my mom even told me I should buy it! haha -- If Only!

The size 4 fit me perfectly. I am 5'9" and thin, but still have hips. The dress was comfortable, easy to move around in, and flared out at all of the right places. The dress fit my bust perfectly, but those with larger busts may want to size up as it was a little tight across the top. The colors are beautiful and unique, perfect for a spring wedding. Totally appropriate length and coverage wise, and the cut outs gave it a fun flare. They were small enough to be tasteful, but noticeable enough for compliments. Highly recommend this dress! I wish I could have kept it!

This dress was beautiful. It has thick fabric and it fit perfectly. You need help getting the zipper all the way up. The pockets were a definite plus. I have a short torso so the cut outs weren't really visible from the front but I still loved the dress.

This was probably my favorite dress from RTR. I rent often and I have never received more compliments then I did for this beautiful dress. It was elegant and sexy at the same time. Very easy to dance in and had adorable pockets. It fit perfectly and I highly recommend this dress.

I wore this to a rehearsal dinner and it was a huge hit! I'm normally a little shy about things like cut-outs, but this dress was incredibly flattering. It was a little tight in the bust for me, but I was able to make it work with a nu-bra.

The waist it right at my waist which usually doesn't happen because I have a short body and long legs. I love this dress. Felt sad to send it back

This couldn't have been a more perfect dress. The cut outs are very flattering and just enough to make you feel sexy but not too much to feel overly exposed. The dress appeared more red on my screen but more pink in person - which I didn't mind. But if you are looking for something RED this may not be what you want.
