I absolutely loved this gown. It was so pretty and I felt amazing in it. It was a little big as I normally wear a size 0. With that being said, I could still wear the size 2, so I would have definitely recommend having one size up for your backup. It was pretty long on me but not to the point where I would not be able to wear it. You would just need to wear the right heels. I recommend this dress 100% and I can't wait to wear it again!

This dress was stunning. It was really different and I received so many compliments. the skirt is really full and has pockets!

I love that it had pockets. The size 6 was not available and I think it would have fit me perfect. This size 8 was a bit large around the bodice, but we were able to make it work. With 3 1/2 inch heals the length was perfect. The bra like clasp on the inside of the dress was helpful for a better fit.

I plan special events for a living and wore this dress to my organization's annual black-tie gala. This was actually a dress sent overnight to me by RTR when the original dress I had ordered wasn't available last minute. I had ordered my dress months in advance, so was understandably stressed when I was notified it wasn't going to be sent 48 hours in advance of my event. However, not to worry...I have nothing but RAVE reviews for RTR's customer service - they sent three additional dresses overnight and all were gorgeous. It was so nice to have multiple options to choose from and I was thrilled with this dress. What I loved about it - it was completely unique (ironically enough, I saw one of my guests in the original dress I was planning on wearing - perhaps this worked out better in the big scheme of things?) and was SO comfortable! On a night where I am on my feet and moving one hundred miles a minute, it was incredible to wear something that was completely comfortable and effortless! And on the upside, didn't require spanx, a bra, constant readjusting/fixing - hellllooo, just keeping it real!). Also on the plus - POCKETS which is a huge coup in a dress for a work event. I received compliments all night and felt like a million bucks. It's even more stunning in person and incredibly flattering. It is very tightly fitted through the bodice, so if you are on the busty side, I'd recommend sizing up. Perhaps most important of all, such a FUN dress to dance in! I would absolutely recommend this dress - wish I owned and will likely rent again for another event! Fabulous garment and even more importantly, beyond amazing customer service!

I really loved this dress and felt like royalty in it! I wore it to a debutante ball where just about everyone in the room wore formal attire and this dress still stood out! I got tons of compliments. I have a pretty large bust and was able to go braless in this gown and felt totally comfortable. The top fit like a corset and the nice full skirt meant that I could actually eat during the event! The only drawback was the lining of the dress kept getting stuck in my heel. It's A LOT of dress but totally worth it.

I am about 5'7 to 5'8 and weigh 136. I typically wear a size 4 so i ordered a 4 and a size 6 (for the free second size). I ended up wearing the 6 because even though the bodice does "give/stretch" a tiny bit, it is nicely form fitted and I need a little more room around the rib cage. Once on, the dress does not slip, slide, or move. The length in the description online says that it is good for ladies in the 5'6 range - I found this PLENTY long (a little too long) on my 5'7 to 5'8 frame - even with low-ish heels. In fact, the size 4 probably would have been the perfect length but i just held the skirt up! The metallic finish on the skirt is amazing. The online description talks about a removal belt (as shown on the model) but neither of the dresses i received had a belt - but that did not bother me. I wish i had a full length picture of the dress - these are the best i got. The ball gown skirt makes you feel like a princess. i would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DRESS and RTR.

The top is stretchy and I think I could have sized down comfortably. Skirt is full and has pockets!

I received so many compliments on the dress and it really stood out and made me feel like a princess. That being said, it was not the easiest dress to wear. The fit was pretty small on top, with the skirt being roomy for all body types. I ordered the 4 and 6 and ended up wearing the 6, as the 4 was very tight around my chest and waist. I would recommend sizing up for the back-up size, particularly for those with larger chests. It didn't come with a belt, as many others have commented, but I decided to add one of my own for more definition around the waist. The skirt was nice and long, touching the floor with 31/2 heels and I am 5'7, so shorter girls may need to wear higher heels. The only real issue that bothered me was the tulle underskirt, which kept getting caught on the back of my heels and nearly tripping me when walking down stairs. I had to be careful of this all night, but perhaps this would be less of an issue with different heels.

This fit me perfectly! I am 5'10/5'11 and I wore heels. I am also an A cup and did not wear a bra with this dress. No issues with it falling down, I danced all night. Also the material that it is made of is relatively heavy, which made the dress look very formal. Would recommend!

Top is comfortable like spandex material! Ball gown bottom is so pretty love the pockets! Could go down a size to a 2 for the top but other than that a great fit!

Wore it to prom. I'm 5'6" and the hem was long when I was flat footed, but length was okay with 3 inch heels. Pockets were a plus.

As many other reviews have stated, this dress is very long. Very comfortable and high quality material. Loved it!

I loved this dress; the color is beautiful in person and the fit is flattering. It is quite long so I high heel is necessary; I'm 5'6" and I was wearing 4" heels and the dress was the perfect length. There's not much stretch to the bodice but I found it was true to size and the boning wasn't uncomfortable. Didn't need to wear a bra with it. Got lots of compliments and was able to dance the night away in it!

I wore this to a formal military ball, and I received compliments all night! I think the bright, rich color perfectly compliments a dark military dress uniform. I ordered the 6R but wound up wearing my backup size of 8R. I added a satin covered elastic belt with a poofy flower detail...I think the addition of the belt made the dress even more glam! My only criticism is that it was a bit long. I'm 5'5" and I wore 4 inch heels and it still drug the floor a little.

Dress was prefect for my first event one month post baby. The top was tight but not too tight (currently a full C) and the waist gave you plenty of room and is flattering if you have a little something to hide (i.e. My post baby pooch). The length is a bit long even with platform 4-5 inch heels but the pockets on the dress make it manageable to walk in. Color is fabulous and I received a ton of compliments. This may be my favorite dress thus far!

34DDs don't get to comfortably wear strapless very often, but this gown has excellent boning for support. Fabric is gorgeous. I highly recommend this dress - whether 25 or 55!

This is a beautiful and easy to wear dress. Doesn't do much to flatter the figure, but this was a family black tie wedding so that was fine with me. If they had a 0R I would have ordered that, but I gambled on the 2R and it worked. Was definitely a little long and baggy (I'm 5'6" and wore 3.5-4 inch heels, also a 32A/B and did not wear a bra) but still looked nice. The pockets are practical, the pink shade is bright and fun, and all in all this is a timeless elegant dress although feels as comfy as a casual dress.b

Little tight zipping it up with the 6R but I had no problems with it falling down or needing to hike it up during the whole night! I wore about 2 inch heels and I needed taller ones to not get tripped up while dancing, but holding it up wasn't an big issue - just made me feel more glamorous! The inner lining of tulle also would continually catch on my shoes because they had large faux jewels on them - I can't imagine anyone else would have this issue unless you wore shoes like that as well. The pockets ROCK! I didn't take a purse down to the ballroom because I only needed my phone, ID, room key and lipstick -- all of which fit comfortably in my pockets! Lovely color and very classy! So glad this one worked out!

Beautiful dress, very comfortable but runs a little large in the top! I also added the belt for some extra sparkle.

I'm a size 4 but I have a bigger chest (34D). I weigh 113 pounds and based on write ups thought the 4 would be fine. It fit but was a little tight in the chest area. I wasn't busting out but I think the 6 would have fit me better. Unfortunately the 6 wasn't available for the evening. Either way I loved the dress. I got a ton of compliments. I'm short at 5'3" and wore 4-5 inch heels and the dress was 3" too long with the heels. I bought the fashion tape and it was fine but this dress definitely runs long so short girls be prepared with fashion tape. I had a short black top edged in sheer organza that I wore as it was a little chilly. I also added a sheer organza belt that I tied in a bow to the side. It really finished the whole dress and looked very polished. I really loved this dress and it was very well made❤️

this dress is amazing and i felt amazing in it. i got compliments all night and i was at a fabulous gay wedding, so the bar was pretty high.

I wore this dress to a formal wedding and this dress was perfect! The fabric was luxurious and thick. You can tell t wasn't cheaply made. The bodice is snug and has a bra clasp to really suck you in. My chest is big (34DDD) and I never once felt like I was spilling out. The length is perfect.. I wore a shorter heel but could have easily wore my 5" heels no problem. Don't forget there are pockets too!! The photos don't really do this dress justice, as the pattern on the skirt is just beautiful. I was stopped multiple times to be complimented on my dress and how much I looked like a princess.. And I felt like one too!!

I am an amply busted woman and always worry that a dress won't fit. This was an absolute dream and perfect for any woman with a similarly generous hourglass figure! There was also excellent support built into the dress and in perhaps 10 hours, I didn't find myself hitching it up once. My only hesitation for other women is that at 5'5" and in 4.5-5" heels, the dress was still a touch too long. I navigated just fine, but others might find it cumbersome. It's a knockout dress that is VERY flattering and comfortable, so I think it is totally worth it!

Very comfortable. I was able to wear flats since the dress covered my feet. This a great dress for my fellow pear-shaped ladies! Nice and fitted in the bust, with some stretch for comfort and very roomy below the waist. I normally wear a small in tops and 8-10 in pants. The 6R fit great.

Overall I loved this dress and how comfortable it was!!! The wedding I went was originally said to be formal, but I soon realized it was going to be much more casual. Since I had already rented the dress I just went with it and was so happy I did. I got a 10 and a 12 and the 12 ended up fitting best in the bust. It was very slimming throughout and hit me at a great point on my waist. I wore flat Jack Rogers sandals with the dress because the heels I had brought were too tall, but that ended up being great for me because people couldn't really see them and I was more able to dance the night away! I would definitely recommend this dress to anyone!

Pros: The pockets are great, and the fit, overall, is good. The colors are gorgeous and the fabric of the skirt is luxurious. It's definitely a unique dress and you will stand out from the typical black dresses at formal events. Cons: The dress runs a bit small in the bodice; I usually wear a 6 or an 8, but had to wear the 10 in this dress. It's definitely long; I'm 5'7 and had to lift it up when I walked even with 4 inch heels. The boning in the bodice does tend to get annoying after a while, so I wouldn't recommend wearing the dress if you plan on sitting for most of the night. Overall, a great dress, but not without its imperfections.

It was true to size, except it is SO long. I'm 5'9 and wear a size 6- I'm not short- and this was SO long on me, I was tripping all night.... I was also pulling it up all night because the clasp was broken when I received it :(

This dress is beautiful and extremely flattering! Super nice for hiding this few extra pounds on the waist. I'm. 5'4" and wore 3.5" heels and it still dragged on the ground a bit but was still fairly easy to walk and dance in. Would definitely recommend!

This dress is super pretty in person. I have a longer torso so I feel like the cut of the top black part wasn't the best fit. It didn't go in at my natural waist but above it so I don't think this dress was as flattering on me as it would be for someone else. I am 5 ft 4 and the length was perfect when I wore 3 inch heels.

A little bit too long

The fit was perfect. The top was snug in all of the right places and the bottom was full and fun. I loved the pockets on the dress and had a ton of people say how much they loved the dress! The black and magenta combination was great.

Skirt was a little long, but otherwise true to fit.

Love, love, love the fuchsia color, very eye-popping! Careful if you wear this to a wedding, you might just steel the spotlight from the bride. The only con is that this dress is very long for petite person.

Great for a wedding or a formal event. Pop of color makes it great for non-black tie but still formal events

This dress is very pretty. I ended up not wearing it because it ran a little big. I'm usually comfortable in a 12, which is the size that I ordered, but the top was just too big. My backup size was not available so I went with another dress. However, this dress was wonderfully constructed with heavier material.

I wore this dress to a black tie wedding and it was very comfortable and i received several compliments on it! I'm 5'6" 140 lbs and usually wear a 6 but was only sent the 8R and that fit perfectly thank goodness! Wish it had pockets, and i think it would have been even cuter if i had had the time to find a belt to pair with it, but it was definitely a perfect length to wear with heels!

I ordered what I thought was a size up and it fit perfectly. I am full on the top so it was perfectly snug. As the other reviews warned, the dress is long. I'm 5'5" and wore high heels. The spike heels caught in the underslip sometimes, but not too often. I got lots of compliments.

The dress fit great. The only problem was this it was quite long, but I easily fixed it by wearing tall heels. This dress worked great at prom because it's so unique and everybody complimented me on it.
