It was so comfortable and easy to dance in! Customer service at RTR was excellent after I initially received a dress that I didn't love.

I have to say I love the dress. The color is amazing. I was actually the first to wear it - popped the tag - and it was in pristine condition of course. The movement was awesome. I received tons of compliments at the hotel and restaurant. I wore 5 inch heels and it still reached the ground. I gave it 4 stars because it looked more flattering on the model who probably has a long slender torso. I would caution busty and/or curvy girls with shorter torsos because you don't see the break where the waistline is under the top portion (they are zippered twice, the dress is fitted and the top is loose).

It runs small, but it is a super flattering dress regardless. The little overlay piece on the top minimizes my boobs (which are very big and can cause problems looking for dresses), and the way it falls makes me look slim as well, it is very flowy and forgiving. You can easily move and dance in the dress. I am 5'6" and wore maybe like 3-4" heels and the length was legit perfect for that. The material is super comfortable and flexible as well. I highly recommend this dress, I would wear it all the time if I could!

Overall: This dress is lovely in photos, but absolutely breathtaking in person--it moves beautifully. Fit notes: The top was quite snug and stretchy, so I didn't need to wear a bra.

I loved the fit of this dress. The fake crop top was fun, and the skirt was beautiful. It had great movement on the dance floor! I wouldn't say it's a "wow" dress, but my husband loves to surf, so it was his favorite dress I've rented. I am 5'3" 130 lbs 34C and the 4P was a little tight up top, but the perfect length in 3" heels. I have a wide rib cage, so it probably would be perfect on most my size. My backup was the 6R and it was just too long, so I went with the 4P. My biggest issue was that the dress was pretty worn, fraying on the hem of the crop and some pulls in the print.

I rented this for my son's graduation, but the weather was not warm enough to wear this dress. It rained continuously for almost a week after, so when the sun finally came back out, I ended up wearing this to work (thank goodness for my unlimited membership). Since I'm 5'5 and knew I was going to wear flats, I'm glad I chose the to rent the petite. The dress hit right at my ankles. Like previous renters, I was not able to zip the first zipper in the back all the way up, but the overlay hid it, so it was not an issue. I wore this dress all day and received so many compliments. I'm sure I will be renting this again.

I loved wearing this dress so much! The ocean print and sparkly accents were perfect! The cut is very flattering and the dress was comfy! Wore the petite length with 1" sandals and it grazed the ground a bit, but the length worked! Amazing dress!

Wore this for a charity event and was THRILLED with it. I'm 5'7 115lbs, AA cup. I'm a heel-weeny and wore not-so high heels so I had to be just a little careful not to step on on the dress. But I think it's pretty much exactly the length it should be. It moves beautifully and photographs great!! Highly recommend this dress.

The colors and flow of this dress and how it moves when you walk just can't be captured in a photograph! It's the perfect dress for a fancy brunch, daytime event, or summer wedding. The construction and fit is extremely high quality. Be forewarned that it is a heavier lining and doesn't have a lot of areas for it to breathe--- I underestimated the power of the summer sun during the day so ended up sweating more than I probably would have with a typical lightweight summer dress. I'm just shy of 5'9" and the long was perfect with heels. Don't hesitate to rock this dress, it's amazing!

I wore this to my cousins wedding which had a daytime ceremony and evening reception. Felt like a million bucks! Many compliments, definitely stood out! I am a size 4 and it fit true to size though fair warning - the band above the waist/rib cage has ZERO stretch and felt a bit corset like however this can be remedied but unzipping the under layer (no one can see because of the second top zipper). I would size up for the second just in case. As for customer service - this was not my original, I was told the night before delivery that my dress wasn't available but I got this replacement for no extra cost. Then when dancing like a maniac I accidentally ripped the bottom, they didn't charge me and were super understanding. So while a very stressful rental, I very much appreciated their help!!

THIS DRESS IS EVERYTHING!! It was sent as a replacement after the original dress I ordered wasn't able to be sent to me in both sizes. It is breath taking, light, and was so perfect for a beach wedding. I got a million compliments and felt stunning. I wore flats so it was a little bit long. It also had a tear in the hem (which wasn't noticeable but I could easily see how it happened). Overall this is the best dress I have ever rented!

I usually wear a 0, and found this to fit small in the waist, but it was such a beautiful and unique dress! I wore this to a nice 4th or July celebration and received lots of compliments. Would also be great for a wedding!

This maxi is just as pictured. You literally look like the ocean! It flows so beautifully and it for perfect! I had no issues with it. I'm 5'5 and it was dragging a little bit but not as much. Overall it is great for vacation or on a summer day!

I could wear this maxi dress everyday and never get over it. The colors are so vibrant and I was obsessed with the fluidity of this maxi. It is great for any cup size and could be worn with a standard bra. This maxi dress was fitted throughout the midsection but the fabric had some stretch.

I rented this to try it out before renting it to wear to a conference dinner in Cali and wore it to work all day then to the museum that evening. I got compliments on how beautiful I was and how gorgeous the dress was from strangers all day and night! Not particularly sexy because of all the voluminous fabric but it was flattering with the fitted waist! My bust was too big so I left the underlay unzipped in the back to give my chest room and just zipped the overlay and it worked fine. I'm 5' 6.5" and the regular length was perfect with flats so keep that in mind when ordering! I will rent this again!

I loved this dress. It is such a pretty blue and you can really see how it looks like the waves of the ocean. It is a little fitted at the waist so I would get the size up for your backup. It was a little long on me but with a small heel I was okay. I cannot wait to rent this again before the Summer is over!

Just rented this for a wedding and it was PERFECT!!!! I felt like a goddess and got so many compliments. The dress also moves beautifully, swishing around when you walk and dance. Would definitely rent again. Also so comfortable and could wear a real bra with it. So happy with it. Note that it is quite long. I got the 4p which was the only petite size available. I did have to wear 3-4inch heals even with the shorter length option. I might have gone with the 2 if it came in petite but the 4 still looked beautiful

Rented for vacation which ended up being more casual than anticipated so kept the dress and wore it to my birthday Luau! Adding a lei, it was perfect. So many compliments, especially from ocean lovers. The fabrics is float and comfortable although the dress is quite long! Wore with super high wedge heels.

Wore this dress for my wedding anniversary and a night out to the symphony. Given all the warnings about the dress not being able to zip, I sized up. I am usually between a 4 and 6, but for this dress I rented the 8. It fit perfectly and zipped up, which I think gave the dress more shape up top versus leaving the under layer unzipped like some other girls opted to do. Length was perhaps an inch too long for my 5'4 height, but wasn't much of a problem. If you're shorter than 5'3, you might have trouble. I LOVED how the dress flowed when I walked. I got lots of compliments from complete strangers.

I LOVED the print of this dress! It was light and breezy and super comfortable! The top is 2 layers. I could not get the under layer to zip bc it was much too small but the over layer zipped and completely covered the under zipper.

The dress is absolutely stunning and the print is even prettier in person than it is online. The fit, while it doesn't show in photos, is rather odd. The dress is is actually one piece with the skirt part zipping all the way up the back and then the second piece zipping over it. I couldn't get that first layer zipped all the way up -- even though I took my normal size and am fairly small chested-- but the second piece zipped over it so no one could tell! My other caution is that as a long waisted person the fit was tough, it wanted to sit high on my waist and it rubbed a bit at my neck. All that being said I felt lovely wearing the dress and had a great time dancing in it at my sorority formal.

Lovely dress, true to size, little on the heavy side, pair with sandals or flats. The pattern speaks for itself, especially with your hair pulled back.

Fit is perfect. Flow of dress and cut is amazing and flattering. Material is a bit heavy, so can be warm on very hot days, but doesn't show sweat if melting in the hot sun. Length is long, but still works well for summer weddings to wear with flats.

Fits beautifully. Petite wasn't available in size 4 so I had the regular which even with huge wedges still drug a tiny bit but nothing unmanageable. I wore this to a 5pm wedding in the Florida keys and was nice and cool. Literally endless compliments and fit like a dream.

The dress is gorgeous and makes a huge statement. The skirt moves in a really nice way, and I like that the straps are wide enough that wearing a normal bra works just fine. It's a long dress - I'm 5'6" and wore high platform espadrilles, otherwise the dress would have been much too long.

I'm 6'0" and the 8R was a good length for the outdoor wedding - came to the ground but not long enough to drag (as I fear the 8L may have). The ribcage is the tighest part, so may want think through size if you are bustier. Highly recommend. Compliments for days on this dress.

This dress fit so well. It was super flowy and fun and got all sorts of attention at the beachside pre-wedding brunch. It is a little heavy but I didn't mind. I would wear this over and over if I owned it!

I wanted the size 2, but all that I could get was a 0...I had a feeling it would be too small, and it was. However...I followed the advice of another reviewer and just left the interior zip undone! The top of the dress has an outer layer, and that is very loose and was easily zipped up. the interior layer has NO STRETCH at all, and fit really tight at the ribcage. I didn't zip it but it didn't matter. The dress is really beautiful, and I received lots of compliments. perfect for my Hawaiian vacay :) The length was just right on my 5'3 frame with 4" wedges, maybe a little long...but it worked out great.

I felt like a mermaid from the sea. The waves on this dress are gorgeous, and the fit is super comfortable. Its not incredibly easy to get in and out of alone, but its so worth it. It has a bit of a train in the back and it felt so fun and glamorous even though I wore it casually.

My favorite rental so far! It was so nice and flowy and fit wonderfully. It was slightly long though and the way the hem is sewn you can't use fabric tape to shorten it. I'd keep that in mind. In my three inch heals I was perfect. Loved it.

The regular was the perfect length without heels, so if I wanted to wear anything taller than very flat flats it would have been too short.

This dress will take you to an ocean-oasis state of mind. The color is so fun, and the print really does remind you of the ocean. The dress is fun and easy to wear. It does run long, and, even with heels, to skimmed the floor, but it was absolutely stunning!

For A line dresses I’m usually a 6 while I’m an 8 for body con dresses due to my larger hips. So to be safe i ordered a 6R and a 8P. Since I didn’t want to wear heels - the wedding was on the beach - the 8P ended up being a perfect choice. I’m 5’5 and the petite hit just at the floor, while the 6R dragged a few inches. Even though I’m normally a 6 in this style dress the top part was not too big and the stretchy material makes it easy to fit.

I would say it runs tight through ribcage and might be better for medium/small chested girls. Also, runs VERY long, even with 5 inch heels, I was dragging a bit in the back. But overall, fun to wear and very pretty.
