I tried this style on in a size 4, but it would have worked better in my usual size 2 or 0. I would recommend sizing up for backup if you're curvier and down if you're smaller framed. It's important to note that there is a tulle underlay, which gives the skirt its fuller look. It's also hard to tell in the picture, but it has a metallic silver / blue color to it. This style is a fun, flattering fit and you can wear a bra with it! I'd recommend it for a day to evening cocktail-attire event/wedding. Pair it with a statement necklace or earrings to dress it up!

This dress is amazing! So fun and flirty... The colors really sparkle in the light!!! Possibly my fave RTR dress so far! It seems to run pretty true to size. It's hits perfectly below at the knee on me.

The dress is much different in person than in the model photos. I expected it to be more white and blue instead of silver/metallic and blue/green but I ended up loving it anymore! It also photographs different in the light. There is some hidden greens that come out in the light and the metallic doesn't really come out unless you have a flash. It was more poofy than I expected as it had a layer of tulle underneath. The tulle was not itchy to me as there is another layer of just fabric under that. This dress hit me right at the knees. All in all, it was an incredible dress and I got so many compliments. Highly recommend.

Beautiful dress-- great colors, festive hint of sparkly silver, playful full but not too pouty skirt. Got lots of compliments. I wore the dress with a silver crocheted jacket that went perfectly with it. Plan to rent this again.

I wore the size 10 and found the fit to be true to size. The top was a bit big on me on so the shoulder straps were a bit more "off the shoulder" than in the picture. However, I am pear shaped and about two sizes smaller through the shoulders and rib cage. So, if you are more proportional it should not be a problem. The length was right to the knee. The dress has a stiff lining so the skirt holds its shape (but does not poof out dramatically). I wore this with silver shoes and the silver clutch.

SO I love this dress in that the colors are stunning and the back is pretty as well. Also, it has pockets! It fit well enough to wear but here were my issues: 1. The straps had to be pulled to a very wide boatneck (basically to an unnatural resting place on the outside of my shoulders) to really spread out the chest of the dress so it wouldn't look so weird. 2. I constantly had to keep pulling the dress down so the waistband would be in the right place (and again, stretch out the chest of the chest). 3. The darts are a little pointy and closer together. 4. From the front it looks amazing, but it made my butt look SO BIG. If I had a bigger chest most of these fit issues would probably have been avoided, but... such is life. I still wore it and it was beautiful and I had a great time. Once I started dancing I didn't care much about the dress.

The fit of the dress was perfect except for the length. I like cocktail dresses to hit at or slightly above the knee. For girls on the shorter side like me it was a little too long. I'd say it's perfect for ladies 5'5" and taller.

This dress is great! The pockets make it a winner in my book. The seam made the zipper stick but if you hold your hands on your hips as you're zippering it that helps a lot! Great dress all around!!

The fit was great, other than the weird bust seams that end in the perfect place to give you really pointy boobs no matter what you do. The color was much more bold in person too. Overall I really liked the dress and got lots of compliments.

This was my back up dress and thank goodness! My first dress was way too small/mishapen to work, so I ended up wearing this one. Thank goodness I had thrown this in last minute. The material is so beautiful in person, very rich and shiny. Also, what isn't shown, is that there is a darker gun metal and black color in the pattern. I am losing weight after a pregnancy, so I didn't quite know what size to get. I got a 10 - the waist was very tight but otherwise the dress fit well. I was able to wear a normal bra with it, as the back goes low, but stops right at the bra strap line. Perfect! Unfortunately the bra strap clips were broken in my dress - they would have been very useful. I used fabric tape instead. The length is great - not too long or short. I had so many compliments in person, AND in photos posted. Felt like a million dollars. The dress has a petticoat, so if you feel self conscious about a larger bottom, then this is not for you. I DO have larger hips but I liked that they were hidden by the dress. I am 5'4" and 157lbs, 36C and wore the 10 - not sure if a 12 would have been better? But the 10 and some spanx worked well.

I loved the pockets and received a ton of compliments on the fit and flare. The chest area was slightly large and puckered but I am fairly flat chested. I would say true to size.

I wore this dress to my cousin's wedding. It was super sparkly and I got tons of compliments. It runs true to size but there isn't much give in the fabric. I have broad shoulders and implants so it was a little tight but nothing to complain much about. The fabric was also thick and so somewhat hot for an outdoor wedding in 88 degree weather but that would happen in most dresses. I would definitely rent this again.

I should have probably gotten an 18W. It was that big on me without being a stretch fabric. Lined. Absolutely festive, feminine dress. Made my dad happy on his 80th birthday. I highly recommend this item. Fresh, sophisticated, pretty.

The dress has a pretty shimmer that makes it more appropriate for formal events, the colors are beautiful! The back has an attractive low cut but it requires you to wear a strapless bra. There is a lot of material in the skirt so it would be forgiving in the hip area and it has pockets.

Where do I begin with this dress? The fabric was beautiful and had a great sheen to it that really made it stand out. I love the fit and the side pockets as well. A super comfortable dress to wear all night long! I got tons of compliments from wedding guests about this dress. I would definitely rent again! This dress does run large, so I would suggest making your back-up a size down from your normal size.

Wore this to officiate my friends wedding. Pockets were clutch so I could keep chap stick And phone close by. Fabric doesn't give much, but was very comfortable. Can wear normal bra. Bunched a little in the front at times, there is anther layer underneath to give it a full effect. Would rent again.

If I could rate this 6 stars, I would! This is my first RTR experience and I was worried being very big busted (38DDD). I usually have to try everything on! The 12 fit really well, but was a bit snug in the bust, but it worked so I didn't have to wear a bra! The pictures don't do this dress justice. The slight silver shine is breathtaking in person! I paired it with nude heels and long CZ earrings.

The material of the dress is beautiful! The straps are set very wide apart though, so you're probably going to have to go with a strapless bra. I got compliments all night and probably got a few new recruits to Rent the Runway!

Wore this to a wedding in San Francisco - it was perfect and i received tons of compliments! It's really versatile, could be worn with lots of shoes or jackets. The back is kind of low, at least compared to the front, which is cute. It also hides strains really well (which was good since there was a small sharpie stain on mine). It's also really flattering if you are sensitive about your tummy because it fits tight at the bottom of your rib cage and then flares or so hides any potential tummy pooch (like my post baby flab). Highly recommend!!!

This dress was so fun to wear and I love pockets which it has. It has a lot more shine than what the picture portrays. It's a heavier material but the skirt is full so it didn't feel like it weighed me down. I said it runs small because if you have a bigger waist or bigger boobs you would need to size up.

I wore this dress for my bridal shower and it was GORGEOUS! I got so many compliments on it! The dress runs very true to size. It was perfect for me. I have a small bust and large hips so I loved how the dress flares at the bottom but still hugs at the waistline.

I mostly rent dresses to wear to work. So I don't know what I was thinking when I rented this dress (maybe just that it was so pretty) because there is no way anyone could wear this to work. It's a fun dress that would be perfect for a summer wedding. I usually wear a 2 or 4 and in this case the 4 fit perfectly but it was very tight in the waist as there is no stretch in the material at all. The back is a little lower than your standard bra line. So I wore the dress without a bra. It was fine because the material is thick enough. I loved this dress (with the ruffled underskirt and its brilliant blue and silver color) and it has been my favorite rental so far! I only wished I had more events coming up so I can rent it again.

I am not down to goal weight yet and thought I needed a 12, but I wore a 10 in this dress. For comparison, the size 10 ML Citrus Sorbet was a tad too small (but doable if needed); this was overnighted as a backup. I was thrilled! I wore it to my daughter's christening and outdoor party in April. It is lined with a thin petticoat underneath to give the bottom a poof. It is great for pear shapes -- cinches at the waist and flares. Everyone thought I had lost more weight than I had! Bonus! I'm 5'6" and it hit me at the knee. The front was a high neck but the back scooped low -- I could wear a regular bra, but the straps showed a bit in the back since the bra clips on the dress were broken. It goes right to the shoulders so there is no boob-to-underarm fat shown. There is a slight shimmer to the silver color, and the blue is beautiful! Rent it!!

Fit nicely, true to size. I would recommend a strapless bra as the straps on my regular one did show from time to time. Very comfortable and fun for dancing. I got so many compliments in this dress!

I loved the color and the sheen of the dress; it felt fancy and beautiful without being fussy, both inside and in the sunshine. It was special enough to stand out and several wedding guests asked me where I got it. The fabric is strong and flattering, and pulls in with a strong band to make your waist look smaller without being too restrictive. If you have an hourglass shape, you may be able to go down a size for this.

This dress is not only beautiful to look at but it fits beautifully also. It runs true to size, can be worn with your regular bra and the colors and fabric are perfect! It does have like this shine/sheen to it that isn't as noticeable in the pictures. Rented this through my Unlimited membership and actually wore it to work one day when I had a dinner date afterwards. Hot summer day in NYC but the dress was cool, light and a total attention-grabber! So recommend renting this one!!!

I got SO many compliments on this amazing dress, perfect for my friends daytime wedding. It sparkles and shines, moves wonderful, is super flattering and bonus: has pockets. Basically, everything I could ask for. I have a small chest and broad shoulders so it fit me like a glove.

The colors on this dress are bright and fun without being over the top. The fit is true to size and there are snaps in the shoulder straps to hold your bra in place. The one feature I didn't like is that the volume in the skirt comes from a lace or taffeta material which was a little hot when dancing.

This dress is great. I love how the skirt has a slight poof to it for extra shape. The bust area was kind of large for me, which NEVER happens because I'm a DDD. I could have worn the 18W if not for the band around the waist that made it tight. There's definitely not much stretch to this dress. Only other thing to know is that my bra kept showing on the side. I wore a nude bra so it wasn't as big of a deal. I got many compliments on it!

Wow. When I chose this dress I didn't expect it would be this great. Extremely flattering dress. The back is exposed but I could still wear a strapless bra no problem. The dress has POCKETS which turned out great for carrying my phone all night. The material is slightly shimmery and very comfortable. The straps are definitely made to be worn off the shoulder slightly. I wish I could keep this dress!!

This style is adorable! The sizing runs a little large, so I would suggest sizing down, for sure. The blues on this dress are beautiful and there are metallic flecks in the fabric that catch the light in a nice way. There is also some tulle underneath the skirt, so it gives the skirt a fuller look. There is a V in the back, which is something to keep in mind if you want to wear a standard bra. Also, this dress has pockets and that's always fun! This would be a great style for any casual or cocktail event!

Unfortunately, the fabric is rather stiff (though definitely durable), which makes the fit a little unforgiving (especially if you're busty). Ultimately, it was really comfortable and the pockets were absolutely wonderful. Overall, love the dress and found it easy to match with shoes/purses and generally look beautiful in a crowd.

It definitely runs true to size. I wear a 16 and ordered a 18/20 but I could have totally fit a 16. Regardless I made it work and it was great!! It's comfortable and breathable for those of us that get hot easily.

This dress was perfect- Comfy, fit perfectly and Gorgeous! The only issue I had was that it arrived with the seam pulling away at the zipper. It was to let to get another dress, so we had to improvise. RTR was good to address the issue and make good on it!

I rented this dress for my mom on her birthday. It's a *fun* dress, but she wasn't that into it. A little girlish for her style and age range. It's sparkly and looks like the sea. Just don't expect an understated dress- it's a stand out!

Dress was lots of fun to wear. The length in the torso and skirt was a bit short, but fairly minor. Received lots of compliments on the dress. It was perfect level of formality with fun.

This gorgeous dress by Thea is lovely, and the fit is slightly larger than normal. I typically wear a 16/18, but ordered a 16W and a 14W as a back up after reading reviews that stated the garment ran slightly larger. Heed the advice. I am 6' tall, and wear a 44D bra - the 14W fit and was a little large (though not terribly) in the waist. I had no issues through the bust line and the arms were comfortable as well. The only downside to the dress is that it's very warm. It has a crinoline and underskirt, and for an outdoor wedding in Texas at the end of May it was hot. Indoors and in cooler climes, it would be perfect. The pockets are fun - great place to keep a lip gloss and cell phone, and the colors are even more lovely than the pictures on RTR. Overall, it's a beautiful, bold dress that's as cute as it is compliment-inducing. I paired with black strap-py wedge sandals, nude nail polish and a sparkly clutch. I'm giving 4 stars because the sizing is anxiety inducing and the crinoline makes the dress very warm - otherwise, it's a great dress.
