I was a little scared that the dress would be too small, so I over compensated with a size too big. It wasn't too big, but I think a size smaller would've been a nicer fit. My advice would be to follow the sizing on there, its spot on. The dress was beautiful.

It has just enough sparkle. I got complements all night. Back does dip a little low, so if you're wearing a wider band bra (with 3+ snaps) it might be a good idea to tape the back to it so it doesn't peek out.

The belt sticks can be a nuisance because it sticks out no matter how many times you loop it. There should be a 12W of this dress because I felt that the top portion of the dress exhibited my cleavage and I had to keep pulling it up.This dress does look stunning on a body overall, I felt like Cinderella, Ella Fitzgerald, and Billie Holiday all rapped up into one.

This dress fit like a glove! It was also very comfortable!

It fit me well but the bust was a little bit compared to the waist and arms. The blue was beautiful and the sparkle was just enough. I would definitely recommend this dress for a formal event. I did not use the belt.

This is such an elegant style! I loved this gown and I was very pleasantly surprised that, although it runs small, I was still comfortable in it. The lace is soft but durable and the cap sleeves have room and are comfortable. The length is a bit shorter than expected, but that didn't take away for the look. You are also able to wear a standard bra, which is nice, even if there is lace detail on the shoulders. This is definitely a great black tie look!

LOVED this dress! Not going to lie, I didn't pick it, my friend snagged it while my stylist was also looking for other options when I was at RTR in Chicago. On the hanger I was like, "no way" because the sparkle looked like it was too much, but on, oh my goodness it was stunning! It's a beautiful sapphire blue and the sparkle is from a thread woven in, NOT sequins. The stretch in the dress is VERY forgiving and flattering for Pear or Hourglass shape. It is an easy to slip on and wear gown. I'm 5'6 and wore 3" heels and it just grazed the ground, very elegant. Super comfy and I'd rent again...honestly I wish I could buy it! SUGGESTIONS: it has straps that you could pin your bra to. The straps were a little loose for me so I had to pin the slack in the back to my bra. Aside from that, no problems, compliments all night! Get this dress!

This dress was comfortable, attractive, and fun! I wore it for 14 hours including to the church, a bar (yes, we were seriously over-dressed), the reception, and during the cleanup following the reception. I felt great the whole time (wish I could have said the same thing about my shoes)! My first, but not my last RTW experience.

I felt sexy and age appropriate in this dress. I have rather large arms and a full bust so the 22 was perfect for me in this dress. I since then rented this again in a 20Long to allow myself to wear a higher heel and it fit well too. I got many compliments, even from my very difficult mother, throughout the evening! Super lightweight and easy to wear. If you need a long dress this is the one to pick!

Could live in this dress!! I loved everything about it. Not a dramatic "look at me" dress, but utterly lovely.

At the waist it falls straight down not hugging unwanted curves!

I normally wear a 16 but wore the 14WR. At 5'6" the length was perfect. Both the 14WR and 16WR fit. I would have preferred to wear the 16WR as it was a little roomier and more comfortable but the straps were a bit large which cause the dress to hang low and show too much cleavage. The straps on the 14WR were also too large but the issue was less severe. I wish the straps had been adjustable. Otherwise the dress was gorgeous and I received compliments all night long!

This dress was provided because the dress I requested was returned late or returned damaged. I did not get a change to see it before it arrived. Thankfully, it fit well, and had a great shape. I thought the belt would be bad, but it looked great. With the right shape wear it gave me an hourglass figure.

I rushed and rented this after the 14 did not fit and LOVED it!! Felt very beautiful and received tons of complements throughout the evening. I highly recommend this dress just be sure to size up as I normally wear a 12

Could have worn the smaller size, but decided against it since I didn't want to wear constricting undergarments. The length was almost perfect for me so probably short for most. It does have a small train which was stepped on a few times but ce la vie. Would rent again for a more formal occasion since I felt slightly overdressed for a wedding even though the invitation said black tie.

I loved this dress and was planning on wearing it to a black tie gala. I had tried it on at a RTR store, so I knew it was the right size. It arrived the night before the event without the belt - as so many others have commented happened to them. It was slightly large on me without the belt (I usually wear a size 12) but looked perfect with the belt, so I really couldn't wear it without the belt. Luckily, I had read these reviews already, and I had rented a second different dress (for the small extra fee) in case this one arrived without the belt. RTR refunded me that extra fee since this dress did indeed arrive without the belt, making it unwearable. I was ultimately happy wearing the other dress and received many compliments, but was sad I was unable to wear this dress that I loved so much.

Beautiful dress. It was definitely too big (I'm a 14-16), but was still wearable. Very classy

Overall I liked the dress, it definitely showed off the curves. I would recommend wearing it with spanx as it is fairly fitted. The long length was still a little too short for me (I'm 5'9") I ended up wearing flats. I loved the subtle shimmer throughout the dress and the lace, so beautiful!

This dress runs quite large. The problem I had was that the straps of the lining of the dress kept falling off my shoulder, giving a kind of sloppy look. The dress was very comfortable and covered up in a good way, but just didn't quite work

Had the long dress because I picked it up day before my event at the NYC store. It was 2 inches too long with my 2.5 inch heels. Got lots of compliments! It was very comfortable- the lining is satin, and the belt helped create a nice shape.

I didn't end up wearing this. I had it sent as a last second backup because the dress I'd ordered was unavailable. Luckily the Kate Spade backup dress I had ordered actually worked because this wasn't great. I am a pretty classic hourglass shape, usually wear a size 12, and this was definitely way too big. That aside, it was just a really unflattering shape - I usually wear more of a fit and flare (tight in the waist, a line skirt) which looks MUCH better on my shape. I don't know what curvy girl would look good in this style honestly. It was styled to be fitted all the way past the hip, which was really unflattering, even if it fit! Not my favorite.
