This was an amazing dress. Got compliments all night

I got many compliments at the black tie wedding I wore this to. The original dress I had planned to wear wasn't available and they sent me a different one which didn't match my shoes or fit as well as I wanted, so I called customer service and they were able to ship this one to me overnight. I'm glad my original dress wasn't available because I liked this one even better! I felt like a queen. The only semi-bad thing I noticed about it was that the lace underlay wasn't quite as long as the satin material underneath, especially in the back but it wasn't very noticeable. I wore it with 4 inch heels and it was perfect for my height and it was a lovely fit. The shoulders weren't tight at all on me. Plus I did end up wearing the other dress I was sent to late-night drinks after the wedding so it wasn't wasted! All in all, another fantastic experience with RTR!

The fabric of this dress does not stretch. Good to keep in mind :)

I normally wear a 12, I had to wear this in the 14L and it barely fit. Once I got it one it fit like a glove. It has a built in bra so you do not need a strapless bra. I wore a 2 1/2 inch heel and the length was fine, any higher heel would have made the dress to short. The belt did not come with the dress.

I knew it was curvy but I received numerous compliments. I am 5 ft 5 and needed 3 inch heels and still felt it was long. Maybe use small platform sandals. Like Jessica Simpson type. When I wore ballet flats later in night I held up skirt to dance.

This dress definitely runs a little small around the midsection. The top lace cover was a little loose but otherwise it was perfect with spanx! I wore 3 inch heels and the back of the dress dragged a little (it has a mini train). Loved this dress!

I didn’t wear this dress to the event, because I found another dress. But this dress was beautiful and well made. Fit was great.

The regular length option was ill-fitting throughout (I suspect the lace overlay shrunk during cleaning?) and hit mid-shin in length, but RTR sent an emergency back up in the long, which fit perfectly! I am 5’5, and typically do not order long options, but with a small heel, this dress was the perfect look for a sapphire ball!

Wore to a wedding. LOVED it!!! Hugged all my curves in just the right places and I didn't need a bra.

I absolutely loved this dress. From the fit to the color, it was perfect for our formal event. The dress is fitted but has some stretch so it's very comfortable to wear. There is a built in bra for support. The hem of the slip was longer than the lace overlay but nothing that a few safety pins couldn't fix. One of my favorite dresses of all time!

Comfortable, flattering

I wore this dress after replacements were sent bc my 1st choice was MIA. RTR was accommodating despite this frustrating situation. RTR made sure I received backups 4 my event & the stylist I spoke to helped me find something else and she was fabulous. The dress- I'm not usually a fan of the lace top style, but I loved this dress when I tried it on. I'm thin and this accentuated my waist and curves- it is a little snug, but that's how I think it's meant to be worn. I felt elegant wearing it.

The dress was fantastic and I loved the back of the dress because I have an upper back tattoo. My only problem with this dress was that the shoulders were so tight it made sitting down hard. I mean I could sit down as long as I was sitting straight up which was fine for the first 2 hours then got a little restrictive. This could be just a "me problem" because I'm a CrossFit power lifter and have a broad shoulders. The dress is also incredibly short! I could only wear kitten heels with the long!

This dress is gorgeous. It fit perfectly and I would recommend for anyone with a slim build. The dress is very straight. It was comfortable for the evening.

Lemme break it down for you. When you're in this dress...you feel like a queen. Correction, you ARE a queen. It hugs your curves beautifully, the color is stunning, everything was breathtaking. Neither of them came with a belt but I knew coming into it from the comments that it could be a possibility. Also it has a built in corset that made for a smoother middle area with no straps necessary. I was looking for a dress for an lds prom so something with sleeves and all in all not too revealing so this was perfect. Except I actually didn't end up wearing this dress, my sister and I switched dresses (long story short, my dress was her favorite color and vice versa). From my sizes above I ordered A 4L but let's just say after a little crisco and some fishing wire, we were in business. Another thing, being 5'7 and wearing 4 inch heels made for a perfect length. :)

Wore this to an Air Force Dining Out. The size 0 was a little snug... So I went with the 2 in order to be able to breathe. Fit as described! Very flattering dress! Made me feel like a million bucks!

I LOVED this dress. I was sad when I had to send it back. It fit like a glove and was very comfortable, not to mention gorgeous. I had a little extra room in the bust; nobody could tell but I definitely think this size would fit someone with a larger cup size than me with no issue. I wore this dress to a military ball and got lots of compliments, very classy and appropriate for that type of function. I wore about a 2.5 inch heel and the length was a tad bit long but I don't think I could have gone with regular length.

I highly recommend this dress for anyone who isn't a total toothpick; it hugged in all of the right places! I'm 5'7, about 140 pounds and normally a size 4 in jeans/dresses. I got both the size 4 and the size 6 just in case and boy, am I glad I did! The 4 wouldn't zip up in the back due to the built in bra so I had to go with the 6. The 6 was a bit longer and just an overall better fit for me. I wore about 3-4" heels which were perfect (I included a full length photo) so I would suggest having a good size heel. I liked this dress because I was able to move freely. It was just a little snug in the rib cage area but other than that, I danced the night away without any problems. I can't tell you the number of compliments I got from people that I know and didn't know. Fantastic experience overall!

Color is bright navy with sparkles. Pairs well with gold and rhinestone earrings and gold strappy heels. Decision between regular and long length was difficult - at 5'7, I'm right on the cusp. I ended up going with the long length. I wore 3.5" heels. I think the regular length or a taller heel would have been ideal; although the gown pooled perfectly and I was able to walk ok, it was difficult to dance in. People did step on the kick-train, but that's to be expected. Fabric has a nice amount of give to it. Sooo comfy - sleeves not too tight, sparkle not scratchy. The back is beautiful and does wonders for your butt. Though the dress as a built-in corset top, I wore a strapless bra for DD security. I was surprised to find that even though the back is low, my bra didn't show at all. Awesome! Make sure the belt is included - I think the belt makes it!

This dress hugs you in all the right places. My hubby loved the view from behind:) I wish I would've gotten the 6L, that's my ONLY regret! I felt like a million bucks in this dress and received tons of compliments all night. The size 8 came with the belt, but I chose not to wear it. HIGHLY recommend this dress!!

Amazing RTR overnighted this as my back up dress. Can't believe I didn't just pick this one in the first place! Fit is very slimming with no real give. I tend to have large rib cage and it was tight when I put it on, but was completely perfect! I didn't receive the belt as some others have mentioned but not sure if I would have liked it anyhow. Being 5'8 the 8L was perfect with a 3" heel. The lace did catch at times on the my buckle of my shoe and had to watch people walking on the small train. But no complaints from this girl! Paired with Crystal Infinity bracelet and Southern Plantation earrings.

The material of the dress makes it easy to get "snagged" on things like dressy shoes and jewelry, overall no problems with the dress :)

Loved the built in corset. Dress was stunning yet comfortable. Length was perfect with a 2.5-3" heel (I'm about 5'4.5")

Great dress fits true to size!

I rented a 4R and a 6L because I didn't know whether I needed the length or the tight fit, and there wasn't an in-between size, and the 4R was perfect (I know a lot of other reviews say that the dress runs small). I have rented once before and was a 4 with a different dress too, expecting to be a 6 because I wear size 6 pants. I wore the dress without a bra and with flats and was comfortable all night. The built-in bra does the job. Everything stayed in place while dancing and the length perfectly hit the floor with my 5'7" height. Very comfortable, more shimmery than the pictures do it justice (like a royal blue), pairs well with gold, silver, and diamond jewelry. I chose not to wear the belt it came with. Accents your butt very nicely.

I wore this for a wedding that I was a greeter in. It was soooo elegant and people complimented it all night. It was also comfortable to wear. I would definitely recommend this dress for a formal affair. It was stunning and I felt amazing.

The dress has a stable but lightweight fabric. The dress was very elegant and perfect for an Oscar's themed party. While the train was a slightly long, the regular length would have been too short for me. I just picked up the train when I walked. I did step on it a few times without any damage, thankfully.

I am very tall and was worried it would not be long enough, The front of the dress is higher than the back which makes it look very elegant and shows off the front of your heels. I wore 4 in. heels and the back of the dress still swept the floor. The dress fits true to size. You can't go wrong with the dress! It's a stunner.

The 6 was too small, but the 8 was perfect. I was comfortable all night. I got so many compliments on this dress! I can't wait to rent something else.

My favorite things about this dress are the shape and color! It's a vibrant royal blue with shimmering lace that I thought complimented my skin tone (very fair) nicely! I think the dress runs true to size but it is definitely form fitting. For my proportions, I have wider hips so the dress was snug across my hips and butt but fit perfectly everywhere else. I noticed a lot of women going with the long length so that the back dragged on the floor but I wore 2-3 inch heels and the dress just brushed the ground in the back and hit the top of my feet in the front which I think looked fine. The dress came in good condition and with the belt which is optional. Very glad I went with this dress!

The 4 fit great, and it had a little give to it, which I need around my hips. I'm glad I got the regular, because the long would have been dragging (I'm not one for super-high heels). I was able to go without a bra since the bust area is well-formed. It was really comfortable, and easy for me to move in. It was an event with my theater students so I needed something that made me feel beautiful but was also classy enough to be with my students and boss. The blue color is so vibrant, the pictures make it seem a little darker and duller than it is in real life. I would totally recommend this dress!

This dress was absolutely stunning! The color is somewhere between a royal blue and a navy blue - it looks different depending on the light. The fit is fairly tight, and it definitely hugs all of your curves. There is no give in the fabric, and if you have any areas that you are self conscious about, the dress will highlight them. With 4 inch heels, the dress just brushed the floor, which was perfect. You could see my toes, but I didn't have any problems with people stepping on the dress. For anyone with a smaller bust, the bustier type top of the satin underlayer may not fit quite right, but since the lace overlay has short sleeves, you're pretty safe. The boning in the dress ends mid-abdomen, which is a little uncomfortable at first, but I found that the dress seemed to loosen a bit as the night went on. I did have to make sure to pull down the satin second layer of fabric, because it did ride up a little bit. Despite all of this, I'm giving the dress five stars because of how absolutely stunning it was. It was in great condition, and both sizes I received had the belts included. So many people complimented the dress, and while many people at the event wore RTR dresses, I was the only one wearing this one!

The fit was absolutely perfect and it was very comfortable to wear all night. I really felt amazing in it. I didn't need a bra as it has a bustier built in. I am 5'4 and wore 2in heals. It swept the floor and has a slight train. I would definitely recommend this dress. Both sizes fit me, but I went for the 4R because it was more comfortable when I sat down.

I am absolutely in love with this dress! It was actually my backup dress since I'm usually not a fan of shimmer but it fit so well and I felt so beautiful in it that I couldn't resist wearing it. The fit was absolutely perfect. I'm very petite so I was nervous the gown would be too long but with my 3.5 inch heels, the dress fell right where it should and the train was stunning. The material doesn't stretch at all so if you're worried it might be too tight, I would order up a size. There is also a built-in bra which was great.

I wore this to a charity gala. It was perfect...elegant, noticeable, gorgeous. I got the 0L and the 2R. The 0L was tight in the back (I have a broad ribcage for my size. I got compliments and was asked to be photographed all night! LOVE

The dress was gorgeous! This was my first time using RTR and I LOVED IT! I ordered the 0R and 2R as back-up. I ended up wearing the 2R, which fit perfectly. I'm 5'4" and the length was perfect for me to wear with flats...which is what I prefer:). The back is slightly longer than the front which made for a little train. The fit was exceptional - really hugged my curves (which don't really exist on their own) so I felt beautiful and feminine all night. I received so many compliments from men and women. It's a classy dress that is understated (not too flashy / look-at-me) and beautiful. Also, very comfortable for dancing in...which I did a lot of!
