I wore it to the rehearsal dinner for my brothers wedding and it was stunning.

The dress was gorgeous and very age appropriate! I have NO hips, the lines of the dress gave an illusion of more curves than I have!

The length on this dress is appropriate for any height. It fell just below my knees but would be office appropriate even on someone much taller. The fit was true to size although I would size up for a back up if you find you are a little bit curvier through the hips. If I was doing a lot of sitting in this dress, the larger size may be what I would spring for since for me, that's a problem area. The colors are perfectly vibrant without being too much. This would be great for work, a business affair or cocktail hour.

This dress worked out really well. The fabric isn't flimsy but also isn't overly weighty. It has just a bit of stretch to it, but not so much you can squeeze into a smaller size than usual. The bust area isn't very forgiving...I'm a 38 B/C and it fit just right, but I think it might have looked silly on an A cup and might have been impossible for anything bigger than a C.

I wore this dress for a cocktail night on a cruise. The black side panels were really flattering and slimming, and the dress looked really good with silver and opal jewelry It packed easily and came out of the suitcase wrinkle-free. I wore a standard bra. The only negative, not really visible in the picture, is that the darts at the bust came to a very exaggerated point. I was concerned that it looked like large nips. If not for this, the dress would have gotten 5 stars.

This dress was beautiful! I'm so glad the size 8 fit. The size 10 I also ordered was not returned by another renter on time so they sent a backup style that I didn't like. I tried on the 8 and it fit great! Had to wear spanks with this dress but overall I loved it! They hem was coming out at the bottom of the dress so I used safety pins to keep it up all night.

I loved how this dress fit me! The thick fabric was great - it held me in but wasn't too restrictive. Got tons of compliments (I wore this to a garden wedding)!

I ordered this dress as a backup to another one. The first was a bit too short for the event I was attending. Even though this was my 2nd choice, I loved this dress. It was comfortable, yet dressy enough for the church event. I also ended up wearing a dressy button down sweater over it to cover my arms. I am short, so it fell just at or even a little below my knees.

This dress was so comfortable for my anniversary dinner. The design is slimming, and I LOVE the strip of color down the back. I'm pretty busty, so I had to go up a size to the 8, but it still fit well.

"Cut out design" very flattering. Neckline slightly high for my taste. I wore with nude heels and was comfortable all evening.

The dress fit great. I tried it on and asked my husband his thoughts and had to pick his tongue up off the floor. When I saw my sailing crew/friends (all guys) that night, I got similar looks (granted this was the first time we ever saw each other wearing in anything other than sailing attire). I wore 4-5 inch heels with it and that could have also helped some of the jaw dropping looks I received from other event attendees. I take longer strides naturally so I had to get use to shorter steps in this dress. When going up and down stairs/steps I took it slow and easy. Recommend wearing a strapless bra if you don't want to see any part of a bra. I had a push-up strapless bra to get me more to a C/D cup so the top didn't look too loose.

I loved that it was a more form fitting cocktail that the length remained knee length. The colors were not a bright as I anticipated but it all worked out!

I wore this dress for my grandmother's surprise 90th birthday brunch. It was dressy enough to look elegant, but not overly dressy for the occasion. I wore the 8 and it fit perfectly. My only slight complaint it that the top of the dress seemed to bunch up a bit, as though the inner liner wasn't quite aligned with the outside of the dress. Overall though, it was lovely and slimming.

Great dress, can wear a normal bra. I received lots of complements. The only downside was some gaping in the neck - it is sort of a boat neck - so I had to repeatedly pull the shoulders so the neckline would lie flat on my chest. Overall great dress for party or work.

I wore this to a rehearsal dinner in October. I wore an 8 but probably could have got away with a 6. Not overly large though so you are safe going with your normal size. I am 6ft and the dress hit right above my knees. The dress was great quality and was easy to wear.

This dress is absolutely beautiful! Vibrant colors and the black sides are very flattering for curves. Unfortunately, it has no give. I was concerned about wearing it for an outdoor summer wedding in North Carolina. Dancing all night, eating, and the heat left me concerned about being comfortable. I really wanted to wear this, but ultimately, I wore a different dress I had purchased. I rented this in my normal 14, but if I lose 10 pounds I'll rent this one again lol! I'm 5,8, 38D - 35 - 48.

Dress is very flattering, with thick material that hides all the tiny lumps and bumps. However, the neckline is odd and doesn't lay flat - luckily, the pattern of the fabric camouflages it. Also, there is no slit in the back of dress... so be prepared to take a lot of tiny steps, and take the entire dress off each time you need to use the bathroom (too tight to just pull up). Still loved the dress and flattering fit.

This was a backup dress to the original one I wanted, so I was relieved to find out that it fit me! Very pretty colors and the dress complimented my shape very well!

This was a nice dress. True to size. Felt good and looked good. No issues. I did see what people said about the dress coming to a point around the chest area but it wasn't that bad to me.

I had high hopes for this dress. Sadly it wound up being very uncomfortable. There was no spandex give to it at all. I barely fit into the 8 and I usually wear a 6 so it also runs small. It was a warm night and this dress was making me sweat it was so stuffy. It was also virtually impossible to dance as it was very constraining around the calves. The neck also did not lay flat and kept bunching up which added to the general discomfort. I'm nervous to ever rent this designer again

This dress is very special! Both the front and back stitching and detailing make for a VERY slimming dress that had everyone telling me how great I looked, and asking how I lost the weight! The fabric is lovely with a great pattern and drape. The secret I discovered is that it is reversible, looking special in an entirely different way when worn with the zipper in the front rather than the back. Seriously - an amazing dress that could be worn anywhere!

The paneling truly is a work of art. Reminds me of a Monet piece, waterlillies in particular. Wore to work and got many many compliments. The panel is placed in such a way that it accentuates the waist beautifully and brings the eye in to the smallest part of your waist.

I wore a low back strapless bustier under the dress. I kept the jewelry simple wearing only earrings. You have to take short steps as the dress is narrow and comes down below the knee.

I wore this dress for a show during a recent trip to Vegas. It looked awesome and I felt great! It was very flattering. I usually wear a 10 lately so I got the 10 and 12 to be safe. The 10 worked great, so I would say the dress is true to size. I could wear a regular bra with it. I do have an hourglass figure so I was worried about my hips in this dress, and the dress does not have much stretch to it so it was tighter on me in the hips than the rest but it did not bother me. Would definitely rent again, wish I could buy it!

I ordered the 4 and 6 and wore the 4. I initially ordered this dress for a daytime party but it is a much nicer fabric in person so I wore it to the rehearsal dinner. I can't believe we didn't get a picture. I would def order it again. Figure hugging and slenderizing design. Age appropriate

I wore this to a conference, at which I was giving an oral presentation. The bust is definitely better on someone with a larger chest, but wearing a blazer it was fine on me. Everyone liked the colour blocking which was more interesting than most people's usual conference attire.

There is no slit in the back so definitely don't size down; however, I didn't have any trouble with the 6 which my most common size. We danced tons all night and I wasn't fighting straps falling or the dress riding up. It was classy and unique without being distracting--pretty perfect for a wedding. I would also wear this to holiday cocktail parties and maybe day to night for work with different accessories.

I am a sucker for well-constructed dresses. This one qualifies. The fit is flattering, as well as the color blocking. The fabric is substantial but not too hot for summer. There is a lot of versatility in the garment...work to dinner and multi-seasonal. Enjoy!

Dress was incredible! The design and lines was very flattering, great colors, back detail was soo cute, professional for work (with a blazer), received TONS of compliments.

It fit really well and was comfortable. I have long legs and it hit me right at my knees. The pattern is pretty and unique so it was a nice addition to the work week wardrobe. The colorful part is a fairly shimmery material but wasn't too over the top to wear to the office. I wore it under a black blazer with heels to work.

The fit was perfect for my height, 5'11.
