If you tend to be fuller in the bust area, I would recommend that you wear a very light strapless bra .. the more padding the tighter the fit. Other than that I was a wonderful evening and I am so glad I wore it.

Best prom dress! This dress was most definitely in my top 2 of all the dresses I've rented from here. It fit so nicely and looks just as good in person as it does in pictures! I wore heels for pictures and it was the perfect length. For the dance I switched to sandals and it still worked out just fine. I could walk with both! Love this dress. 10/10

Great fit, loved it and 2P was the perfect length (3 inch heels) and fit. Not too tight, hung beautifully. I was very surprised by this dress which was a last minute order or a black and white event. Compliments galore- White gloves made it!

The dress had an elegant look and fit like a glove. It was the perfect length with my 4 inch heels. It accentuated all the right curves in a very classy manner. The only con was it was a little tight-fitting on the top; however I do have slightly wider shoulders than most. This con didn't keep me from wearing this gorgeous dress. I will definitely rent more dresses from Rent the Runway.

I wore this dress for my junior prom after I had a dress fiasco. Someone had ruined the dress I had originally ordered, but customer service was perfection. Through all my stress, RTR helped me pick out a new dress. The person who helped me was patient and extremely friendly, guiding me towards a dress that would be flattering and beautiful. In the end, after all the drama, the dress worked out perfectly. It was stretchy and super comfortable. Being 5'7, the tall size was the perfect length with 3" heels, but any higher shoes and the dress would have been too short. All in all, the dress was beautiful and classic and set me apart from everyone else. It's a simple dress that still is able to gather a lot of attention.

Material was thick and nice and cut allows for some extra "Spanx" support. I went with the 4L since the 6L left a bit of a gap in the front part of the dress. It definitely required good posture. I am 5'7" and the Long was perfect. It hit the floor just right. It was nice to have something different on in the sea of red dresses at the Ball. I would highly recommend this dress to anyone!

I was a little surprised when I pulled out the dress by the material, the white portion of the dress had an unexpected sheen to it but It looked great once you put it on and retrospect made the dress look a bit more formal. I had to order an 8L and a 12L because the 10L (my actual size) was out of stock. At first the 8 long felt way too tight and the 12 long felt way too big but after debating the two I went with the 8L because it highlighted my figure better. It was tight in the arm and chest area but not unbearable. At 5'11 so I am always concerned about the lengths of dresses. The 12L had more length but I was still able to wear a two inch heel with the 8L. Overall, I really enjoyed the event and felt beautiful in the dress. I would definitely use Rent the Runway again!

Fit true to size and great length for my height. Size 2 wasn't available, but the 4 worked since I'm normally in between a 2-4. I wore 4 inch heels and it was still a great length.

I rented this gown for a black tie optional wedding in Greenwich, CT. I actually visited the showroom on 5th Ave in the city and tried this dress on or I don't think I would have rented it. It was definitely different from anything I've ever worn. I'm so happy I tried it on and ended up renting it. It was so flattering and made me look so tiny in the waist. I usually wear a 4 and the 4 fit perfectly but the length was a little long even with 4" heels so I opted for the 2 which I was comfortable in and the length was much better. I did wear spanx just to make myself feel better. Overall, I got so many compliments and loved the dress!

I wore this dress to a black tie wedding and received complements all night. I ordered a 10 and an 8L, because a 10L was unavailable. I ended up wearing the 8L which was a perfect length with flats for my height. The 10 was to large around my shoulders but mostly I didn't wear that one because of the length which ended around my ankles and looked odd because of the mermaid silhouette. The 8L hugged all my curves and showed off my shape, I have never felt or looked skinnier. There is plenty of stretch and I was able to dance the whole night comfortably. I also loved that I could wear a normal bra to the event and didn't have to worry about a strapless. Overall, I was in love with the dress and couldn't have been happier with my first rented dress.

Size 10 was a bit smug but it worked, size 12 was too loose on top and too long...loved it!

I wore the 0 and it fit great. You can wear a normal bra and the length was perfect. I did however need to wear a spanx b/c the fabric (although stretchy) was very formfitting. The back of the dress was my favorite!

I rented this dress for my sorority formal and this dress was perfect! Great material, fit like a glove, definitely ran true to size. I consider myself to have the hourglass figure and this dress made me look like a movie star. I would definitely wear spans with it to create smoother lines but still beautiful. I would definitely rent this dress again for another event. I was worried about the length because I'm definitely on the shorter side but it just barely ran along the ground with 4 inch heels.

This dress for true to size and hugged and highlighted all the good curves and hid all the not so good curves. The arm holes were a little bothersome as they were tighter than I would have preferred, but that is the only complaint I have about this dress. It was the perfect length for my heels and was easy to manage for walking and pictures. I wore it for my prom and it was comfortable and easy to dance in as well. I felt flawless all night and could not have been happier with my first RTR dress.

I am 5' 10" and I got a 0L. I had to wear sky high heels so it wouldn't drag on the floor. For those that rent this dress and are my height I would recommend getting a regular length instead. Fits well for small busts. Forces you to stand up straight or the white part in the front will not lay flat (Personally, I like this part of the dress).

It was just a little tight. The size 4R wasn't available as a back-up, so I wore the 2R (which is my normal size). It worked fine, but was a little tight in the arms/bust so I couldn't wear a bra. The material was super comfortable. The length was perfect for me - especially being shorter, I was so happy that it worked out. I loved the way this dress looked and I got compliments all night!

I didn't get a picture of the back which is probably even better than the front, which is fabulous. Very comfortable, literally pulled out of the box and hung up, didn't have to steam or iron it. I normally wear either a 0 or 2 but have a long waist. Interestingly I'm fairly small busted but the reason I didn't wear the 0 which fit better every where else was because the bust area was tight. There was plenty of room in the waist, stomach area in both dresses. I received tons of compliments anyway.

Dress was true to size. It was constable and the key hole front was a major complimenting area. I had to wear kitten heels as the front was a tad short but black shoes make it so that you can't even tell. The dress was comfortable and classy. I'd rent this again in a heart beat.

The dress fit amazingly well! I don't have any complaints, but I read reviews from women that rented previously and they all said it was long...so I took their advice and rented the 6R. It was shorter than expected so I had to wear 3" heels which I. Only had one pair of but the dress was long enough to cover them. I wore spanx to keep everything smooth and like mentioned before, good for busty ladies (I'm 36DD). The dress was a hit! !

The dress literally fit perfectly! It hugged every single curve and was comfortable. I had to pull up the top throughout the night because it would fall a little low and the top of my bra would show (I wore a regular bra).

Wore this dress to a black tie wedding and received so many compliments. It was a little long for my height (5'2) so when the shoes came off I just held it up to dance. Wouldn't be necessary to wear a bra/spanx but if you feel more comfortable that way the fabric of the dress wont show it!

A fabulous dress for the girl who likes structure to hide flaws. The dress is made of good quality, heavy fabric and feels well constructed. At 5'4" with a 4" heal it was still a bit long and there's a train of about 6 inches, but there wasn't any dancing at the black tie awards dinner I was attending. The front was a bit tight on my size 38C breasts and the peep through cleavage was impressive. Loved the ribbon down the back!

OMG!!!! I absolutely love this dress. I had 3 to choose from and when I put this one on I instantly knew that this was the one. The picture doesn't do this dress justice at all. I straight murdered the game in this. I arrived at the event late so when I walked in ALL eyes were on me. As I was walking to my seat in the front of the room all I could hear was whispers of everyone saying how much they loved my dress. I honestly felt like the most beautiful woman there. They picture is towards the end of the night so you really cant get the full effect. I am a size 14 and the 12l fit perfectly. I did not have any issues at all. The material is pretty thick so no spanx were needed but I wore some anyway. I can not say enough how much I love this dress. I swear I would rent it again for my next event but I don't want to ever wear the same outfit to the same event next time. such a bummer

I originally ordered the 10L for a formal affair, but unfortunately the previous user damaged the dress and I was not able to get it. RTR was extremely helpful with top notch with their customer service but for this dress, all they could send was the 8. Of course, it was just not able to zip up the top (I have a large chest) but from the front, it was stunning. Very slenderizing and high quality. I'm definitely very curvy and the dress made my rearview look awesome. I WILL be ordering this for another event in my size because I completely fell in love.
