amazing fit, 1000% recommended!

I absolutely loved this gown and had a really hard time sending it back. It has a super flattering cut, and it was incredibly comfortable. It is easy to wear and zip up without anybody's help, and it even has pockets. It was a little bit longer than floor length on my 5'7 frame, but with heels it was perfect. I have lost a lot of weight and a lot of that was from the boob area, so the chest was a bit big on me, but nothing that couldn't be pinned discreetly under the arms. I wore it twice!

This was a great dress for a formal affair. Chic and simple but the compliments kept coming. Very comfortable and well made. I highly recommend!

The bride requested that all the family wear black to their black tie wedding. I love her so I was more than happy to pick a black dress. I am short and wide through the hips. I have a hard time wearing anything except a ball gown. I was very happy when I found this stunning gown. Bonus it has pockets! If you're shorter than 5'6 be ready to wear a substantial heal 3.5in or more! Overall this was the perfect gown!

The dress was a great fit! Fit in all the right places. It was so comfortable and had pockets! I measured myself on the designer's website to get the right size. Fit like a glove!

The dress was beautiful and flattering for an apple shape. I received so many compliments and I felt amazing in it all night. From mingling, eating, dancing, and yes....winning the evenings top honor and having to make a speech in front of hundreds. I loved the pockets and the sash was an elegant touch. I normally wear a size 22 in dresses due to being wide/broad up top (apple shape). I ordered a 20 and backup 18 only because previous reviews stated it ran a little big. The 18 fit like a glove amd the 20 I could have worn, but was too loose on top (never had that problem--especially having a decent bust size). Overall, was an awesome dress that is comfortable and fun to wear!

Very comfortable and becoming to a women with curves....

I am tall (5'11"), busty, and curvy. This dress hit in all the right places. I'm always nervous about strapless, but, this dress was perfect all night. I wore small heels and the long length was just right. It's classy and I received compliments all night. A regular strapless bra worked just fine.

They didn’t have my normal size, a 16L, in stock, but I have RTR Unlimited, so I gambled with the 18WR. Unfortunately, it was way too big. I held the back together for the photos so you could see what it would look like. It’s really beautiful - the material is substantial, the neckline is interesting without being too much, the pockets are a huge plus, and the style is super flattering. With the regular length, I would not be able to wear heels, so at 5’8.5” I would definitely get the long if I wanted to wear heels.

The 18 was way too big but this one almost didn't zip up! The trick is to zip it up off of you and put it on over your head! Worth it!

Well, looking back, I wish that I had paid closer attention to the gown I was pulling out of the plastic, because I actually selected the larger (backup) size which would explain why I felt I'd suddenly lost a ton of weight, why the dress kept slipping down and the hanging strings kept popping out of my top. Either way, it still worked well enough that I was complimented by all who were there and all who've seen pics. Especially great that I had a wow look since they surprised me with my own award that night! Thanks, again RtR!

This dress is beautiful and comfortable. And who doesn't love a gown with pockets?! I'm 5'8" and got the long as recommended. It just hit the floor with 3.5" heels. It was elegant with some fun and unique details that kept it from being boring and forgettable. The cut of the dress and the front waist fabric helped distract from anything I wanted to hide in the mid section. In all, choosing something comfortable helped ensure I was able to have fun all night. I didn't feel I needed shapewear which is a bonus!

This dress was honestly the best decision I've made for Mardi Gras. The bones and fitting of the dress made it super flattering and comfortable to wear for the entire night. The only con I came across was the length - I wore a 14R and I should have gotten a 14L, but I'm a tall girl (5'8", 190 lbs). Other than that, it was such a great dress and made my night that much more fun. Oh, did I mention it has POCKETS?! Not having to carry a purse to a Mardi Gras ball was a blessing. 10/10 recommend this dress!

Long is actually long enough! I'm 5'11" & I could wear at least a 1" heel comfortably. Didn't choose this dress due to strapless insecurities.

Gown fit well (true to size) and was surprisingly comfortable. I have D size boobs and didn't need a stick on bra. Felt like a million bucks in the dress.

The 2L was a lot longer than the 2R! The dress was so long that I wore 4" heels and it still lightly dragged on the floor. The gown is slightly longer in the back than in the front. Otherwise, the dress was beautiful and fit great.

This dress was amazing. I’m currently between a 2 and 4. The 2 could be zipped up without a bra but it was too tight. I wore the 4 with a strapless bra and was comfortable all night long. Did I mention the dress HAS POCKETS? I think this dress would look good on all size bodies. It's super flattering. Wore it with Grandma's Closet earrings and Evil Eye Clutch.

I am very uncomfortable in my own skin after having a baby. The dress looked fabulous and I felt fabulous. It's very flattering and I got tons of compliments. I never show my cleavage and this dress is a little low cut but I actually felt more confident then I have in years. I am very impressed with the entire process and thankful for the confidence RTR gave me!!

I absolutely LOVED this dress and got so many compliments on in throughout the night! (Especially love the bow & neck line) It was flattering, comfortable, and fit very true to size. The only concern I had with this dress was the bust area was a tad big and the material was too heavy for fashion tape but thankfully I had other materials to help fill the extra space. Highly recommend this gown for any occasion!

The dress I wore was a size 0R. At 5'3 and 110lbs, the dress was a little too big. Loose in the top and about 2.5" too long when wearing 2" platforms. I could have worn higher heels! Overall the dress was beautiful! Very comfortable. AND... did I mention it has POCKETS!! perfect for stashing lip color and chewing gum!

Dress is amazing! Was perfect for a black tie wedding! I received so many compliments! The dress is very comfortable. The pockets are a bonus. I'm 5'8" and I got the long. I wore a 5 inch heel and the dress was brushing the floor. I personally like my gowns down to the ground, but I did get stepped on a few times! Overall, a beautiful dress! Was sad when I had to take it off!

This dress is so much better quality than it looks in the picture. The skirt is full and falls much more dramatically than a normal aline. Reasonable length and no need for a bra. I was worried the dress would be boring but it had a lot of presence.

I had this dress overnighted as I underestimated the effects of postpartum body and breastfeeding on my physique and my original option didn’t fit. The folks at RTR were super helpful and kind even though I was stressed. I think this was a more awesome dress than my original choice. It fit like a glove and I felt confident and beautiful. Most of my clothes are 16, this was an 18. Overall, couldn’t be happier with my RTR experience.

Wish it came to me in a regular length but only had the long in my size. Very comfortable! The pockets where amazing!!

Good fit but very long. It was 4-5 inches too long. I'd definitely go with a petite next time. The ruffle on front was missing but the dress was still awesome. Very sexy and many compliments. It was wrinkled when delivered but hanging it in a steamy bathroom helped.

Con: I had to order 2 sizes up for the dress to fit my bust. I'm a 40DDD. Pro: The dress is comfortable, pockets are a plus, the length was perfect to brush the floor in heels. The dress highlights all the right curves.

This was the 6th dress I ordered for this event. The others didn't fit right so the dress I wore was literally delivered the day of- which was terrifying but it ended up fitting perfectly thankfully. The dress was gorgeous and very appropriate for the debutante ball I was attending. I highly recommend this dress with a popping' red lip to feel like Blair Waldorf 2.0!

This dress is a very safe choice but it also felt like I was going to prom. I was going to a non-profit ball and it just was not the occasion to wear something as bulky and not fun.

This dress was beautiful. Pictures don't do this gown justice. Unfortunately, this is the first time I have EVER been upset that a piece of clothing was too big. I was so happy with this dress I scurried to find and purchased my size off Poshmark for my event. RENT THIS DRESS - you will not be disappointed!

Way too big, like I could have gone down three sizes, I had piles of fabric in excess yet the sizes I chose were generally close to the measurements within the size chart. The dress was so beautiful, I wanted it to fit so badly and wanted replacement sizes but they were never available the week after receiving these, as I kept checking back specifically for this classic, black formal gown.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this dress fit. It was incredibly flattering and I felt very sophisticated and Old Hollywood while wearing it. You definitely need the right strapless bra thanks to the deep V of the sweetheart neckline so plan some trial and error. I wore this as a bridesmaid and everyone had so many positive things to say about how I looked!

I have a large chest so I was worried about the strapless top, but it is so structured that it held everything perfectly. The pockets are great, and the material is wonderful. I loved this dress.
