I wanted something sparkly to go with a bridesmaid dress. I didn't want. Big statement necklace. I wanted the dress to stay the star. This worked out great. It's hard to say if costume sparkly jewelry online will look cheap in real life. This looked nice. If you need something sparkly, I'd recommend this.

I chose this necklace to accessorize a dress I also rented. It was given as a suggestion to pair with the dress and I'm so glad I did. I don't normally wear jewelry, so I at first thought that it was too big and that maybe I should have gone with a pendant instead. However, I received compliment after compliment on this.
