I usually wear a size 4 and the M was perfect. The S was too tight in the waist, as others have noted. The M was super comfortable, and was flattering for my petite pear, small-chested frame. The fabric is gorgeous, with a lovely sheen and subtle jewel toned pattern. A little short for formal events, but can we be dressed up or down. I was happy with it for a semi-formal winter wedding dinner.

This was my 2nd time renting this dress. the first time I sized up based on reviews and got a large, but definitely would have been fine in my normal size (small or medium). This time I ordered a medium and it fit like a glove! It was a little shorter on me than I would have liked, but I have a long torso so was expecting this. I wore it with hose underneath and felt comfortable. I wore it in London and Paris in November. It was festive and such a fun and unique piece. I even wore it for a photoshoot in Paris.

Love the extra fabric on the skirt, it feels luxurious and the velvet is super soft. Lined as well. The belt is sewn on, so don’t plan to trade it out, as I did ;) would wear with the tights too.

Got so many compliments and I was able to wear it to both church and an evening holiday party. Soooo pretty!

I ordered the medium because that is all they had left, and it still (barely) fit! I had to have both of my roommates zip me up lol. I would recommend getting the large if you can, if you have my stats, if a little smaller the medium WILL fit, it just depends on the type of fit you’re looking for, very snug or looser!

I said it was too small only because it was a bit too short for my liking. I wore it with tights and tall boots though and ended up getting tons of compliments on it. The snap closure that keeps the top from showing your bra did not reliably stay closed for me but I have a bigger chest. Would suggest using fashion tape or having some with you as back up. Overall loved what I wore for the concert and it photographed well but I only took group photos apparently.

Great fall dress

I wore this dress for a November wedding in Pittsburgh on a boat—I was yhappy to have the long sleeves! The fabric is really pretty, and the dress is very comfortable. I sized up because of the zipper issue, which worked fine. The little button in the chest popped open a few times, so be prepared for that

It’s so pretty but so soo tight around the waist. The top is loose and flowy but I can’t get it to zip. I’m about 130 and 5’6 so this is my typical size. It does feel short but that’s ok. You need a tiny waist

I’m glad I sized up after reading other reviews. The shoulders, arms, and skirt are generous, but the waist has no stretch and the chest is very small and low cut because the modesty snap would not stay closed on me. It was fine with a lace cami underneath. The length was perfect, hit a few inches above the knee on me. Great date night or party dress, just beware if you have a larger chest.

Gray dress, I’ve gained recently gained about 10 pounds and should’ve sized up but otherwise, the dress is fantastic, comfortable to wear you might need to add an extra clip if you don’t like a low cut .

Confmy but fits small

Soooo cute and perfect for a holiday party. It’s really low cut but I wore a deep v one piece shape-wear piece underneath and just embraced the look. I got lots of compliments and felt so festive!!

There's actually a pretty, sculptural pattern on the dress which makes the dress even better in person. It was conservative enough to wear to my hospital Christmas party but still felt edgy and interesting. I also liked that I could enjoy dinner because the fit is forgiving. Got lots of compliments.

This dress is really beautiful, well made, high quality. Medium fit for me in some places, but overall it was a little baggy.

This was too tight around the waist and wouldn't zip. There is no give in the seam around the middle. I should have gone with a small! It's a beautiful dress though.

If you’re between sizes, size up. Could not even get my arms into my normal size. Also quite short.

Be aware this wrap dress has zero stretch. Outside of that it was cute, would have been okay if i sized up.

This dress was perfect except for the rib cage. It was so tight with no stretch. It was super uncomfortable to wear because of this.

This wouldn't zip on me, although it was my recommended size. Side zipper was really tight around my ribs. I didn't get to wear it.

This was very unflattering on the waist - the material is pretty but it bunches up with the tie. Wish it had a different cut. Three stars for the cool material, which looked good on Zoom.

It has a waistband that has no stretch at all. I couldn’t even get the zipper on the side to go up all the way. It runs very small IMO. And the skirt is short, but I have short legs so it would’ve worked for me otherwise. There is also a snap closure on the chest but I couldn’t get that to close up either. This piece just runs smaller so size up if you’re curvier. Didn’t end up wearing.

I have B / C cups depending on the day and the snap closure on the front kept popping open. So the neckline was either too high and wouldn’t stay closed or dangerously low.

I’m a true medium and while I could zip this up, it was super difficult and uncomfortable so I ended up not wearing it. Definitely size up in this.

Didn't look great on me -- didnt wear! but might work for others. the small only just fit.

The fit was ok, but the velvet and overall color just wasn’t flattering on me. It was giving Harry Potter and that wasn’t the look I was going for 😂
