Honestly at first when I put it on I didn’t think I could wear it. The skirt has a unique cut to it, but it makes you look amazing. It does run a little small so size up. When you get it on it will make you look 10lbs slimmer. Tall ladies it’s short but not ridiculous. I had strangers complementing me in this dress.

Paired this with a nice belt and short boots and I was ready to go. Wore it on several work calls and received several compliments.

I wore it to a concert, it's a pretty dress, casual with a twist. The material is just a thin cotton, but the design makes it pop. It's figure flattering. Runs a little small - I should have taken large I would be more comfortable. I'm 5,6 and 153lbs

This dress is short but insanely flattering. The cut is perfect. At first I thought it was too short but it never rode up and stayed in place. I received so many compliments. I have thick thighs and felt amazing all night!

I've rented this dress several times. I recently wore it to a western themed event and paired it with cowboy boots. I received many compliments. A few things......there is no stretch or give to it. The midsection can be a little snug if you have a broad ribcage. It's somewhat on the short side. I'm 5'3(115 lbs) and wore the size small. Overall I was very happy with this dress for the occasion.

The fit was great! Sleeves were a little short on me, like other reviews said, but I pulled them up a tad and it looked fine. I received so many compliments!

Slate and willow is great designer for petite women, I can see their items being too short in length and in waist for tall women. S & W great for rental but not good enough quality to buy as the pieces don't last long. Got so many compliments on this dress.

Rented this dress initially for work, but went on a last minute trip to Vegas and wore this out to a club. I may have been the most covered up woman there, but I got compliments from guys and girls! Conservative but still fun, great colors and the shorter skirt made it versatile. To work wore it with tights and booties for a more appropriate early spring option. Recommend!

So glad I sized up to a large. I'm always a medium (6 sometimes 8) and the large was Perfect. Form fitting but not tight. Sleeves hit at kind of an awkward length so felt o had to keep them pulled up a bit. But not bad enough to knock a star. Thin material so it's really nice for spring like temps when the evenings are a little chillier.

It was cute but the fabric was very thin and cotton-like & I was expecting a nicer type of fabric. It runs pretty small, I normally wear a 6 and the M was tight but fit.

Rented this to style as western wear. Love this dress. Sleeves are oddly tight in my slender arms. My 5'4" and 112 lbs. Only reason for 4 stars is that it is a bit short. Wish it could be a few inches longer but still wearable.

I am normally a medium, sometimes on the edge of a small (5'5" 130lbs, small top & larger hips). I wore the large and it was still a tight squeeze in the hips. It was absolutely adorable though and so comfortable once on. Quite short for my taste but not too much. Overall I loved it, but definitely recommend ordering a size up and two sizes up for your backup. Unfortunately this is the only photo taken!

From other reviews it looked like it was a looser, flowy dress, but the M was definitely snug on me. Very cute pattern though and good length for short girls

I ordered the dress for a business conference and was very bummed that it ran so small I couldn't zip it up past my bellybutton so I was unable to wear it. There is no stretch at all in the waist. However, the dress is beautiful and light weight. The arms have a lot of room for movement with elastic and so does the neckline. I'm going to order this another size up because I love the colors and the shape of the dress!

I had been debating renting this dress and finally did. The pictures made it look so cute but the fit was really strange. It was tight around my hips but baggy around my waist which was not a good look. I got a medium and large just in case, I’m typically a medium. The medium was too tight. The large was a little more room but basically fit very similarly. I gave it two stars because I like the look of it. If it fits your body shape, it’d be a great dress but I did not wear, it was awkward and not flattering.

If you have long arms keep looking. This hit at exactly the wrong spot. Would be really cute on someone smaller.

This dress was too small for me to wear. I am between a medium and a small and the medium in this dress was way too tight.

Loved wearing this dress! Received many compliments!! It is perfect for evening and events during the day… depending on how it is styled! The fabric is comfortable and it’s not too hot (I was wearing it with 80+ degrees). I’m usually a 4 and ordered the S.

Obsessed with this dress. It's a little short, so if you're super tall, beware -- but it seriously fit like a glove and was super flattering. I didn't want to send it back!

This dress was perfect in every way. Very flattering. I wore a M and usually wear a 2 in dresses, so I would say it runs small. The sleeves were not nearly long enough, so I bunched them up for a 3/4 look. They have elastic at the cuffs, so they stayed put.

I wear this to a work dinner event and I got tons of compliments. The fit is a little small I would normally wear a medium in dresses outside of rent the runway but normally rent a large here.

A little snug in the mid-section for those with an athletic build.

Nothing too special, but a great classic dress to throw on when you've got nothing else to wear.
