I ordered a medium with a large as my backup - I ended up needing the large as the medium's slit in the back was way to high up for me. The large was slightly big in my back but it never once felt like kt would slip off and i did a lot of dancing! The stretcy fabric made it so comfortable and the sequins did not bother my underarms at all as some other reviews mentioned. I did wear strapless shapewear, but nothing special for a low back, it worked really well so I'd try it on with what you've already got if you can. Overall I just loved this dress and as my first RTR use, I'm now hooked!

The fit on this dress was perfect. Im 5'6" and 135 lbs and I ordered a size small. The dress has some stretch to it so if you think you ordered the wrong size, it'll give a little. I wore this dress for my rehersal dinner and loved every minute of it!

I wore this dress to a winter wedding. I was 6m post partum so the thicker fabric was nice to smooth some bumps and for the cooler weather. Scoop back was a nice detail.

My first experience with RTR and was pleased. I rented this in size M and L. I'm 5'5" tall and 155 pounds. The large fit best on bottom and medium fit best on top. So I squeezed my booty in the medium and it felt just fine. Thick material and comfortable.

Hard to wear a bra with the low back, but the fabric was thick and didn't need anything else. No padding.

It was a little tight and the zipper was tricky-I had to have help. But once it was on it was great! I didn't have to wear a bra-but I'm a 32A. The back slit allows room for walking and dancing. I got so many compliments from complete strangers. I may have to buy this one!!!!!

This is my favorite dress on RTR. The length, sequins, and open back make this a show-stopper, every time. It was true to size and hugged all the right places. Loved it, will likely rent a third time.

This dress was surprisingly comfortable- it was a great length and the back was cut low enough to be a little revealing! I would highly recommend this dress!

Love this dress. Felt like I was red carpet ready. It was a little big in the chest but overall very glamorous. Wore it to company holiday part and New Years Eve formal affair.

This dress is bananas. I wore it to a black tie optional gala and it was perfect. The fit is tight, but not uncomfortable. I wore a sticky bra since the back dips down really low. I used fashion tape on the sleeves because they were loose and slipped down. Highly recommend this dress, so fun to wear and for tons of compliments.

I'm petite but pear shaped. I'm like. 40" in hips but like a 30 in my waist so it's hard for me to find a good dress that hugs my body correctly and this one was perfect. So many compliment all night and I felt great in it. It was comfortable too. The sequin didn't bother me at all and it has a stretch to it which makes it very forgiving.

I wish I had ordered a medium . It was a little big on the shoulder area . However great dress over all

I recommend taking both sizes bigger and smaller. I ended up wearing the small over the medium. It was a better fit for me.

Rented for an evening fall wedding ! It was the perfect dress . Paired with a red lip it was bomb ! The dress is fitted and I could have work a M but was going for a fitted look. It was really comfortable . The only thing was that my curls were getting stuck to the sequins on my shoulder so it pulled at my hair . So if my hair was straight or up I would have no complaints. Will rent again .

I have never been approached as many times about a dress as I did while wearing this. Truly gorgeous! The sequences sparkle and shine in the day and night, catching everyone's eyes, yet still very formal. I am so happy with this rental!!

This dress was gorgeous! I've never put something on and felt like it was made for me! After 5 other dresses and anxiety about what I would wear to my sister in laws wedding, RTR overnighted this to me and WOW. Customer service here is beyond wonderful and I've used this site religiously for years, for a reason. I received so many compliments I lost count, color is BEAUTIFUL, and this is a stand out must rent if you want to be noticed when you walk in a room!!

Dress was exactly as pictured! I ended up wearing the XL as it hugs every curve, but has just enough stretch to the material. I felt so glamorous and received numerous compliments. The sequins sparkly so beautifully in every light. The deep plunge in the back adds unique, beautiful detail.

Loved this dress. Has a little stretch but form fitting so size up. Hit mid calf. A little scratchy from the sequins under your arms. Highly recommend

This dress fits like a glove! Super flattering, a little stretch to let you get down on the dance floor and when you turn around, people's jaws will drop. A woman at a bar gave me a hi-five specifically when she saw the back of the dress! The sequins don't scratch. I have a long torso (which doesn't usually work well in body-con dresses), but this one fit perfectly. Is that a rockstar looking back at you in the mirror? You better believe it!

The L and XL fit similarly, but I went with the XL because it was a little longer and had a little more give (maybe my imagination). It is stretchy, so comfortable and easy to wear (ie, adjust to go to the bathroom). I was very aware of the sequins under the arms (very scratchy), but did not get chafed. I had a tear in my eye as I dropped it in the UPS box!

Wore this to a gala for my children's school. Received sooo many compliments. The dress is comfortable, stretchy and true to size. I am 5 feet so it was a little long but i thought the length looked good. I would highly recommend this dress!!!

I wore this dress for my college graduation ceremony. It was VERY comfortable. It is a sheath dress so it does hug your body. It was a very flattering fit and I loved how it looked. There is a slit in the back which ran a bit higher than I would've liked. I did wear Spanx with this dress to ensure a seamless fit, and I did have to make a temporary stitch on the slit to ensure no "slip-ups" of my Spanx. I typically wear a 12/14 in dresses and am 190 pounds in the photos and 5'10". I also wore 4-inch nude heels with this dress. I ordered a large and x-large, but ended up wearing the x-large. The large felt a bit too snug. It was comfortable but I didn't want to be uncomfortable after hours of sitting. There was a tiny, and I mean tiny, bit of discomfort around the armpits from the sequins. I got over it quickly after receiving so many compliments. The back does dip pretty low so if you do wear a bra, it will show up. I ordered one of those weird sticky bras that you just stick on you to hold everything in place. This is a VERY flattering dress and I loved it! This dress reminds me of a Dress the Population dress I rented a while back. Also VERY comfortable.

I am 5'7" and I currently wear size 14 pants, the Large fit me perfectly. After trying on the large, I didn't even try on the XL. The dress is very stretchy, so I imagine it would fit a large range of shapes and sizes. It hugged my curves beautifully, with the help of Spanx. I was worried that the Spanx would show out of the back, but they didn't at all. I was also worried that the sequins would bother my underarms, but there was no issue. Paired it with a headband and flapper necklace for a Speakeasy gala. I would wear this again in a heartbeat.

Fit was small, I wore the bigger backup size. Comfortable without a bra, length was exactly what I was looking for.

I loved this dress and received so many compliments! I wore it for NYE. I ordered a XS and a S. I'm a true S because of my bottom half so I would suggest going a size down. Thick but stretchy material.

This was my backup dress that I didn't end up wearing for my event, but my friend did. It fit both of us perfectly and was so flattering. She wore it with Spanx and sticky boobs, which were less convenient and less comfortable all night than just the dress itself. It was the most comfortable sequin dress we've worn because it was nicer quality that didn't scratch her arms up. If I have another event, I'd rent it again to wear it myself.

My Build: 5'4", 135 lbs (not pregnant) / 150 lbs (pregnant @ 7 months), athletic build - wide swimmers back. I had to order the large since I am pregnant. If i was not - i would be a medium. The large was a little loose at the top (shoulders and above bust, so I had to pull the dress down a little more to make it less obvious). The low back made it easy to accommodate my swimmer's back. The stretchy (and nicely lined) fabric made it an amazing special event pregnancy event. I did feel like a disco ball putting it on, but once the sun goes down, the effect wears off :) Challenges: If you are with a date (or child) with lace or easily snag-able material, they will get stuck on the sequence. There were a few sequences missing upon arrival, but there is so much no one will notice.

I won this for a NYE wedding and received so many compliments! The open back is super sexy however if you have a large chest it might be a problem. I'm a 36C and was fine however. Would definitely recommend

I wore this dress for a New Years Eve Wedding, and it was perfect for the event. I'm usually a size 6/8 and the medium was a great fit. It fit best around my hips, and was a little loose in the chest but not enough for anyone to notice, and I didn't need to wear a bra. Sequins are a mix of silver, gold and bronze so the color shifts as you move around. The material is thick and comfortable, I never felt scratched by the sequins. Got tons of compliments and loved this dress!

I rented this dress for a Gatsby themed Vow Renewal celebration and it did not disappoint. I went with the large which fit with some room to spare as I'm typically a 10 or 12. The material is stretchy which is nice. I was able to wear a low-back strapless which was perfect. Overall, great dress & I would rent again

Great fit with a stretchy material to create a sleek form fitted look! A little long for short customers but the snug fit made up for it!

I highly recommend this dress, I wore it for a work Christmas party and it literally turns heads. I am a bit fuller in the bust area but had no problems in this dress moving around with ease. I loved the sequins and shape of the dress. Hugs you in a good way!
