I wore this to work and it is very comfortable. Only slight issue is when you walk it rides up a little, but not enough to make it uncomfortable/ inappropriate or unwearable. Will definitely rent again!

Felt very chic in this. It would probably be better lined but it didn't show lines and everything underneath like some unlined dresses, probably because of the structure of the design. Material is stretchy. Neck does not feel like it's choking you all day. Zipper is a bit tricky but I would rent again or buy

Simple, elegant, & beautiful fit. The material was stretchy yet thick and had a great quality. I was worried that this was going to be too short for work, but it ended up being just right. I paired it with boots and RTRs Waverly Gray Houndstooth Nola Coat and got tons of compliments.

Rented this as part of my update. Love the color, and it's very comfortable. Definitely fitted, I needed shapewear to feel comfortable in it. Lots of compliments at work, no issues except size up if you're in between! I'm a size 6 right now and the medium was very tight.

I wore this to celebrate my husband and my 1st wedding anniversary at Le Bernardin in NYC. It fit like a DREAM; the fabric gave enough that I was comfortable, but it was still form-fitting and showed my shape. Not to mention the color is gorgeous! I highly recommend!

This Medium fit me perfectly, I'm usually a 4-6. Fabric was soft and stretchy but unlined and a little thin. Because of this I didn't end up wearing. Otherwise this dress was flattering/pretty. Just not for me.

I rented this for an evening work event but found the dress to be too tight in the waist and hips for a work event. My body type is an hourglass and although the fit was nice it was too distracting for a work event. I'd prefer to wear this out for dinner or a date. Very nice thick material which is very forgiving and the color is beautiful! Order a size up if you prefer a looser fit for work or a more conservative look.

I ordered a small, but may have needed a medium to be comfortable. It was so small, that I was not able to wear it.

This dress felt like the fabric wasn’t ideal for a work dress. Really tight and stretchy and rode up like crazy. Very sexy if that’s what you’re going for, but I pictured this as a work outfit and I felt so uncomfortable all day. If you’ve got curves, they will show… like pow. Might have been better in a larger size.

Liked style a lot but I felt everyone would be able to see every curve of my body in it. Tan a bit small. It did fit but was very clingy. Didn't wear it

I got this to wear for work, usually a large in dresses because I dont want them to fit super tight, however this dress was skin tight for a large. It would have been ok if I got the XL

I rented this as part of unlimited for work. Unfortunately it was a bit short and tight for the dress code at my job, so I ended up not wearing it, which was a bummer. The dress came to mid thigh on me--I'm 5'11'. If I worked in an office setting, it would have been acceptable with stockings. The zipper was bit stiff, but the material is thick and felt like good quality. It was definitely conservative with short sleeves and a mock turtleneck. The cut was body hugging and flattering.

Nice, sleek fit. Slate & Willow tends to run small so I ordered a M and it fit perfectly. The neck isn't tight which can bother me with mocknecks. Definitely recommend.

Fit was snug. And a bit short - it also rode up so I was constantly tugging it down. The neck hole was pretty small. Very figure flattering though! I think it may have been better if I sized up.

As others have noted, this dress runs small and the material is thinner than I anticipated. Overall, the quality of this dress did not seem as high as for many of the other brands on Rent the Runway. The size Small dress was too form-fitting to wear to work. Color and cut are very pretty.

I rented this for work but absolutely could not wear it. It runs so small, it looked like I was headed out to a nightclub. For reference I am 5’6, 125 lbs, and have a ~26 inch waist. This was too tight all over and quite short. I’d say to even potentially make this work for a professional setting you should size up 2 sizes from your usual size. Also the fabric is not particularly nice. Stretchy jersey type.
