Great alternative to the usual sequined New Years dresses

Dress was beautiful but SNUG and will show/accentuate everything; did some great things for my behind and chest (which for a 32A it typically invisible). I got some irritation/scratches on my inner arms from the sequins, but other than that had no problems. Also had great stretch which was perfect for dancing! Would rent again in a heartbeat.

This dress fit perfectly and still left me a bit of wiggle room in the 6. The collar and sleeves were a little uncomfortable but it was still a great rent. I love my rental experiences with RTR and this made me a happy customer. I recommend this for any party or night out on the town!

Almost zero hanger appeal. Tried it on on a recommendation from a stylist in store -- easily the best dress I've worn, ever. Flattering, and actually hits mid-thigh, where it should (as a 5'0" petite lady, this is rare!). I wish I could live in it. I got every compliment ever from everyone. They almost had to tear it out of my hands back at the store. Loved it.

It was a little short and kept riding up

This dress is fun and sexy. I sometimes wear a 4 in dresses, but made sure to get a 6 based on other reviews, and it fit like a glove. The only part that bothered me was sequins underneath my arm scratching my skin a bit - but I have larger muscular arms than most women my size, so I feel like this might not be a problem for other people with smaller arms. I felt great in this and got a lot of compliments all night!

I would not have picked this dress off the site, but I tried it on in the store at the suggestion of a stylist. I wore it on NYE and it was tight and form fitting, which made it sexy, while the high neckline and length kept it classy. The 2 fit my frame, but it was too tight in the stomach and hips, so I went for the 4, which fit well. I loved it and would recommend it for the right occasion.

If only I could've rented a bigger chest with it! The sequins were beautiful; shiny but not too too much. It was stretchy where it needed to be and easy to move in. The sequins underneath the arms started to scratch by the end of the night but not too bad. Also, may not be great for delivery by mail, as some of the sequins were folded and the way they are lined on the dress it draws your eye right to any imperfect spot. Still loved it overall and tons of compliments!

I wore this for a birthday night out. Super cute for a club.. sexy without being trashy. I'm all for sacrificing a little comfort for fashion, however this dress feels like razor blades under your arm pits. The sequence is very sharp along the arm openings. I read it in the reviews, but I guess I figured it wouldn't happen to me... but it did. I put a little scotch tape around the sharp edges, which worked since I was in a club and it was fairly dark, but I don't know how well that would work if you were somewhere with decent lighting. Also, some of the reviews said this ran small, I found it to be pretty true to size.

This was the perfect dress for a futuristic black and white party. I wore the 6 as it looked better on me, the 8 wasn't as fitted. Also the seams down the front of the size 8 didn't lay straight. it was a bit short but nothing too extreme. I wore it with black ankle boots, no jewelry. Cons- the sequins were scratchy, left marks on the back of my arm. The dress didn't lay flat against my lower back, because of the structure of the dress/sequins. overall not a bad dress, but not my favorite rental. Worked well for the party but I probably wouldn't get it again.

I ordered this dress for NYE. I typically wear a size 0 or 2 in dresses. When I ordered this dress, size 0 was unavailable so I ordered a size 4. Im so glad I did because the 2 was too small. This dress was perfect for NYE, however very uncomfortable. I didn't feel my best in this dress unfortunately.

Also not for the Long Waisted gals. The butt is sculpted so if you're long, it hits you in the back and you have a big baggy mess above your butt on your back. Also, I'm a veteran sequin wearer, I wear them all the time, this was THE most scratchy sequin dress I've ever put on. Under arm is brutal even for me.

I purchased this dress because it was for sale on the site. I love the way this dress made me feel.

I absolutely loved it as soon as I pulled the dress on. Had to squeeze a little to zip it up but I loved the way it clung to and hugged me and accentuated and hid exactly where all dresses should. It was tough to dance in because the sequins cut into my upper arm a little bit, and I had to same problem sitting-- I had to pull the inside lining down so the sequins didn't cut my thighs. It's possible I could have gone up a size, but I don't think it would have achieved the same desired look. Overall--so so so worth the pain, I would 100% recommend this dress and wish I could buy it!

I wore this dress for a New Years Eve party and it was great- very tight and pretty short but still not too revealing. Only downside was that the sparkles on the sleeves rubbed against my armpit all night and I woke up with a slight rash the next morning (and I do not have sensitive skin.) But I think it was worth it - great dress!

Not my favorite. I got it for new year's eve because it was $20.15 and sparkly, so why not? But I found it unflattering. Other people said it looked nice on me, so maybe the sparkle effect was good enough, but there's something about the cut that just made me look and feel fat. I honestly feel that it even makes the model pictured look fat (I've seen her in other dresses on the site and it looks way better). But hey, for a cheap NYE dress, it worked and I felt comfortable in it (albeit fat) so whatever. :)

I loved almost everything about the dress expect the itchy sequins. The cap sleeves look great but means that your upper arm will come in contact with the sequins. My only complaint is that. I ended up wearing a jacket or cardigan to feel some freedom.

I rented this dress for a NYE wedding. I generally wear a 4/6, and the 4 was only available for the date I needed. The 4 did not fit as it has absolutely ZERO stretch and seems to already run a bit small. I would order your normal size and size up as backup. The sequins and the color are awesome- if it fit it'd be a fun dress to wear!

While I loved the detailing on this dress, I definitely would not rent it again. Too bad, since I had a great experience with a different dress by the same designer. That dress, I wore a 6. This one, I wore my backup size of an 8, but really wish I'd gotten a 10. Perhaps if I'd had the right size, I would have felt better. However, the dress was extremely tight (particularly around the tummy) - I would NOT suggest wearing this if you have any insecurities about your stomach. The edges were also itchy around the arms and bottom, because of the sequins. All in all, this was a disappointment. 1 star for the detailing and how it looks on the hanger, 1 star for the price (NYE sale?).

The dress was beautiful and prettier in person however I couldn't wear it. It definitely runs a bit small so if I did wear it I would have worn the 6. The cap sleeves hit under my arms in the most uncomfortable way. I could barely stand to try it on let alone wear it all night for NYE. The sequins are really sharp and actually hurt under my arms and at the thigh. I previously rented a Badgley in green sequins that was WAY more comfortable.

Fit was good, sequins were a teeny but scratchy around the arms but nothing that wasn't tolerable for an evening. Dress looked great!

It was fun for NYE but unfortunately, I did not get to wear it.

the sequins under the arms can hurt after a while.

I thought this may look bad with my tummy but it looked perfect. The sequins do hurt the underarms maybe rent the runway could put a pad in there or ad a piece of fabric.

love the pattern and fit but the sequins along the edges are quite painful. Had to cut some of them off because they were actually cutting my skin. (i bought it not rented it)

Stunning dress! So comfortable however sequins around arms can irritate skin.
