This looked like thinner fabric than what it actually is. This is a heavy winter skirt. I was able to pull it together though. Plenty of compliments on this look.

Great Fall/Winter option

This is a heavy skirt so it's perfect for colder weather. Since other users said the skirt's waistband felt small, I went with a medium and wore it up higher on the waist. Since I'm 5'3, this actually worked better for the fit. Paired with a white bodysuit and tan jacket for a work event. Got several compliments on the outfit. Skirt has a little sparkle so it's not a drab skirt.

Like others have said-yes its tight in the waist but it's very heavy so I found the tightness useful. I dressed my down with a hoodie and adidas. I love how it could be dressed up easily or still look great casual. Love love love this skirt

Appropriate length for petite, the waist band felt a little tight for a medium but not too bad that I couldn't wear. Thick material ok for colder day

This skirt was cute style wise but the material was very heavy. The waistband was also extremely tight for a medium and I was forced to wear it pretty high waisted in order to be comfortable. Wouldn't rent again.

Size up, maybe even 2 sizes. I have a very small waist and had to wear this basically below my bra line for it to not suffocate me! But, I did love the dress. Great thick material for winter. The soft sparkle in the fabric is a nice touch for the holidays.

I found this skirt in the store, it seemed a good weight for winter. It runs small- I wore a Large and the elastic was still tight while I usually wear a Medium. The skirt was otherwise comfortable and fun to try.

I just don't like elastic waistbands in anything. They're not flattering and no matter what size you get they are ALL TOO TIGHT. I liked the thickness, the pattern and the colors, but glad I only wore for a few hours.

The waist was tight, so tight by the end of the day i could not wait to get it off. Received compliments on it, was shimmery and warm. I'm 5'4 and it almost went to my ankles, so heels are a must! Also, because it's thick, I paired with a thin pale pink blouse.

It's hard for me to say if this actually runs small - it felt tight but I think it's because the waistband feels unfinished - just a thick elastic band with the heavy skirt material gathered around it. The colors were beautiful and it was very warm but I felt like I was being weighed down by the heavy material and the waist was a little uncomfortable by the end of the day.

Heavy material with a little shimmer. I ended up wearing this several times. It's snug in the waist, like other reviews said, but I wasn't uncomfortable at all. I wore this with a cropped looser sweater - I think if I had tucked anything in I might have sized up so the waist had a little more room, but it was perfect for the tops I paired it with.

Great for casual Friday at work. I paired it with a denim jacket and tan boots. I got lots of compliments. The band was secure, but not too tight.

Loved this skirt so much that I might buy it toward the end of the season. The small was the perfect size for me. I'm 5,8 128lbs 32C. It's fairly long though so if you're on the shorter size it might be too long for you. This hit about 3inches below my knees. The waist was definitely snug but you need it for how heavy the fabric is. Even so, I found it to be very easy to go about my day in and I received so many compliments on it. I paired it with a cream turtleneck tucked in, a wide camel belt with a large gold buckle and cognac colored pumps. The only issue I had is by the end of the day the skirt did start to leave a line on my skin from pressing into it so much but I'm willing to pay the price for it!

This skirt is very thick and heavy so it is a great cool weather option. You could wear it with a chunky sweater or in warmer weather with a tank top. It has great movement to it. Nude colors go with everything.

Maybe it's just me, this is the second time I tried to rent a bigger size and still does not fit my waist. The first time is size S, then size M. Both didn't fit. At this point, I'm afraid to rent size L and be disappointed again. Note: my waist size is 25 in. Maybe I got unlucky with the ones that got shrunk.

The waistband on this is TIGHT. I'm 5'3", 125lbs and it is uncomfortably tight, I'm not sure I could last a whole day in this. Also not sure if I will even end up wearing this out although the material is so cute, very thick and high quality with a hint of metallic threads.

I wore this in my usual size of L and it fits lovely, falls just above the ankle. But the waistband is QUITE tight. I guess that's better than a loose band but I wasn't expecting such a snug fit. Other than that, no complaints and would rent again. Love that it's modest but still cute

I really like the pastel colors but was surprised how heavy the skirt was. Somewhat of a longer length (tea length). And even though the waist is elastic it was reeeeeally tight and as a result and the pleats were bunching up around the waist. Still managed to get some complements though.

I wanted to like this skirt but it had a really tight waist band that did not sit well on the hips so it just made me look really wide and frumpy. It's pretty but didn't end up wearing because of unflattering shape. It would be very warm for winter though

Runs very small. Although there is stretch at the waistband, I still couldn't make it work for me. The fabric is very thick and is a high quality. Would be a great fall skirt but size up.

Skirt is hefty and length is good, but the waist elastic is so tight that this skirt pooches way out on me. Plus, it smells odd.

Too long on 5ft frame

The material was a lot heavier and thicker than I thought it would be. With my 5 month bump, I looked like a hot air balloon. Instead of flattering and slimming down my belly, it ballooned out. I'm sure this would be great for someone tall and slim! Love the colors.

The fabric is quite heavy so that it feels like you are carrying something when you wear this. It also runs a bit small so was too uncomfortable to actually wear out. Looks nice though.

I thought this was such a cool and unique looking skirt to mix it up in the winter. I wound up having the waist sit on my hips as otherwise it looks frumpy because the waist is so tight.

If you have any hips whatsoever, don't bother with this skirt! As others have said, it accentuates hips - and not in a good way. I'm a size 28 and got a medium in this. The waistband was very fitted around my waist, and the skirt ballooned out over my hips. I never wore it out.

Ugh I rented this in a hurry and didn't read the reviews. The top of it is so tight it almost seems like a flaw to me. I doubt a large would even work and I am a 6-8. Could tell I'd be uncomfortable all day so am returning.

Definitely well-made, but the waistline and material gathered to form the pleats makes it very bulky and unflattering. If you are top-heavy, maybe this skirt helps balance you out, but if you've got hips, be warned that it just adds bulk (and not in an accentuating-your-curves kind of way).

I couldn't get myself to wear this skirt. Is super heavy and the waist band is super tight. Just wasn't for me.

I'm XS and the waistband of this skirt was very very tight. I couldn't wear it more than 5 minutes.

I should have listened to the other reviewers! Extremely bulky, heavy and shapeless.
