This dress made me feel pretty! I do agree with the other reviews though. It is tight in the waste with little give. The back is low but I wore a regular bra with no issues. This dress fit true to size and was absolutely gorgeous!!! I received a lot of compliments throughout the evening!

A very flattering fit. The waistband runs true to size and does not have any give. I'm in between sizes and carry weight in my mid drift, so I would have preferred to go up a size if it were available.

Loved loved LOVED this dress! Wore to my husband's work christmas party downtown Chicago. This was my free PRO birthday dress rental and my favorite rental yet. So many compliments! The fabric feels so rich and the dress has great structure. Unable to wear a bra due to the low back, wore petals instead and was perfectly fine. Waist and skirt is pretty true to size but the top of the dress is a little big, straps would slide down a bit. Definitely recommend and will probably rent again! Great holiday or wedding guest dress!

This was my back up dress for my husbands work holiday party, it was perfect! Comfortable, stylish and easy to wear. I wore a standard strapless bra and it was perfect. Paired with a fabulous necklace, I received compliments all night long.

The silver skirt is even more beautiful and eye-catching in person. It was sparkly and had a great shape that was super flattering. The black bodice was very classy, perfect for larger busts that need a little more coverage (though the back is too low for a typical bra). My only complaint was that the shoulders were very broad and frequently slipped down my arms over the evening. Final thoughts? Comfortable, flattering dress that I would 100% recommend.

The dress fits nice loved the stretchy top but the zipped was extremely hard to maneuver. This is a problem with all Etta dress. This dress was a last ditch effort suggested by one of rtr stylist and it was a hit. This was for my first holiday party at a new job. I love the fit and the flow and made a good impression.

I loved this dress, and rented it as my back up dress! I did end up wearing the other dress I rented but I did wish I had another party to wear this dress to because it was beautiful! This makes a great party dress and is very slimming! It runs true to size, the top of the dress is stretchy so it is a bit larger and would fit a larger chested person well!

This dress is great. I wore it to a formal reception for my husband's company. It was super comfortable and I got lots of compliments. The skirt is much prettier in person...it has a beautiful silver metallic color throughout which adds a nice detail. Also the back is stunning between the low back black top and long skirt-super cute! You can't go wrong with this one!

I love this dress! The skirt pattern and shape are really fun and I received tons of compliments. This dress fits true to size and was very comfortable all night (sitting/standing/dancing). The top half is stretchy, the waist is very fitted and the skirt is full and not restricting. The back dips pretty low so I wore the bodysuit bra that I wore under my wedding dress. A regular bra would probably not work.

This was the first time I've used RTR and it was a great experience. I rented this dress for our five year anniversary dinner at Alinea in Chicago. It was my first visit to a 3-Michelin star restaurant and I definitely felt like the dress was exactly the right level of formality. The silver brocade skirt (yes, it looks white in the pics but it has beautiful silver stiching IRL) has an amazing, asymmetrical shape and a rich feel. The bodice is a stretchy black material, with a lovely deep back that I expected would necessitate pasties or a special bra. My regular strapless ended up working fine and didn't show, so it's not as deep as it looks. Other reviews mentioned the straps being too big, and I definitely agree. I rented a 4 and a 6, and the waistband was too tight on the 4. The 6 fit great in the waist but the straps kept wanting to fall down when I was sitting (which was the whole night). I would definitely expect to use some fashion tape on the straps. The other reviews are also correct about the difficulty maneuvering the zipper between the two fabrics. I couldn't get it zipped myself and had to recruit help. All in all, though, it was a perfect dress for an unforgettable evening. Side note: I picked the dress up in person at RTR's new Chicago store and it is BEAUTIFUL. It's like walking into every girl's dream closet!!!!

This was actually a back up dress picked by one of the RTR stylist for me. It ended up being a great back dispute my hesitation. I was not ultimately excited but given I was out of town and did not pack a backup I wore it. It ended up being very pretty. RTR was fabulous and really worked hard to help me through everything. Their customer service made me love them even more (if that's even possible!). Thank you RTR!!

This fit really easily. Big wide spacious skirt was a lot of fun. The back is really a big draw.

I ordered both a 10 and a 12, I ended up going with the 12 because I've recently gained a few extra pounds, particularly around my mid section. The top of the dress was a little loose at the straps, I could have fixed this with a little fashion tape but I didn't think it was that major of a pain. I was able to wear a regular strapless bra with the dress despite what other reviews mentioned of needing a low-back bra or a backless bra. The waist was a little tight, which wasn't a problem until the end of the night for me when it felt a lot more uncomfortable than I would have preferred. The skirt on this dress is GORGEOUS, it's a silvery white color and the pattern is slightly raised. The pleats on the skirt are really flattering for those with wide hips and a large behind (ME!). My husband kept telling me throughout the night how pretty this one looked on me, definitely recommend renting this to anyone who is considering!

This was my first RTR. I was pretty nervous to try this because I feel like my body type is difficult to fit. I don't feel like I belong to any of the body types - straight and narrow, athletic, curvy, apple, pear, etc., but I know "generally" what styles work for me and I "generally" what problem areas I need to look out for. So after reading LOTS of reviews I landed on this dress and was completely pleased with my rental. I picked this dress mainly for the pockets (seriously, every dress should have pockets) and also because the style didn't seem fussy. It looked like it would be forgiving and I didn't want to stress about having it fit just perfectly. And it didn't fit perfectly. I ordered a 4 and 6. I can't say if I'm usually more of a 4 or more of a 6. I could literally flip a coin to determine my size. The 4 fit my upper body great, but I felt like the band was a little tight around my waist. The 4 also hit me a little higher in the waist than I think is most attractive on me and accentuated my short waist. The 6 was bigger up top, but sat a little lower on my waist and I found that look more flattering. The 6 still felt snug around my waist, but I appreciated the overall silhouette more than the 4. The fabric on top was kind of stretchy so it would work for a larger bust. My chest kind of swam in it, but I didn't think it looked awkward. The scoop back was a little lower on me (since the top was a little loose) so I used the sticky, chicken cutlet bra. The skirt was a delicious fabric. It was thick and rich, and I loved how full it was. And the POCKETS were as fantastic as I knew they would be. I felt fancy and lovely! I would rent this dress again and I would get the 6 again.

I ordered the 4 but wore the 2. I have narrow shoulders, and the straps were a little wide even in the size 2. Otherwise dress fit well. I saw in some other reviews about the zipper. Since the materials were so different the zipper didn't zip easily. The dresses arrived in perfect condition; no ironing required.

When my original reservation fell through (the Halston "Great Fade" dress), I was forwarded this dress as a back-up option. Overall it was a gorgeous dress: romantic/poofy skirt (loved the asymmetrical cut in the back too); low cut back. The stretchiness of the top was also great. My only issue was that the top was a bit loose (the straps on the back stuck out a bit). Again, not my first choice - but I'm glad it worked out in the end!

Ran a little big, I think I could've gone with a 0 because the top is stretchy. Great dress!

Loved this dress. I eloped (yay) so wore this for our return home party. So the white on lower half felt like a nod to our wedding. I also wore my wedding day shrug over it. Top half is a thick knit, gives stretch but is slimming w/ the white skirt fitting at a flattering part, just above the waist. From the back, i felt it made me look wide, but husband and friend feedback disagreed. The folds/pleats were also flattering and a big camouflaging (which I appreciated). The white is thick, almost like vintage curtain fabric. Silver thread weaves through and gives it a little spark. I'll have to remember to get better photos of dresses for RTR.... this doesn't show much detail, but gives a little in context w/ other renters' photos. I am heavier now than the previous rentals I have rated. usually wear 6 (pushing 8 due to my hips and butt... back to the marathon training for the spring - ugh). 8 was perfect - very forgiving in the hips and ass-rej. overall - very cute dress for winter - loved it.

The size 2 hem line was torn making the dress uneven on your right side. The size 2 fit perfect so I wore it anyway and pinned part of the dress up

I rented this dress for my husband's company Christmas party. I loved the scooped back and the texture of the skirt. It is a really nice, rich material. Also, loved that it had pockets. The top has some stretch to it. Overall it is extremely comfortable and flattering. I would rent it again.

I wore the dress for my birthday party. I'm normally a size 4/6 but since a 4 was not available I went with a 2 which I felt fit better. I paired the dress with a necklace that I also rented. Overall a great classy dress!

Beautiful dress, but it was very large in the arms and fit loose on top. I'm a full C cup, 34. In shirts & dresses I'm a solid 8 on top to accommodate my chest, so while sometimes I can wear a 6, I'm always safer in an 8. I ordered an 8 & 6 in this dress. 8 was too big. The 6 was very loose on top so I needed fashion tape. It fits narrow in the waist and was not quite snug but a little tighter than I would have liked. I'm basically a square shape, 34 bust, 34 hips and about 27 in the waist on a good day. I thought it was gorgeous and I received compliments, but not the greatest fit for me. Even so, great experience & very easy.

Photos don't do the dress justice. The skirt has a silver tint to it. I love the black and white/silver combo and the fit of the dress. I love this dress and would order it again.

The dress fit over all really well, but there was little stretch in the middle of it. The sleeves would sometimes rise because I was unable to pull the top lower. I never worried about it totally falling down and I felt comfortable and safe the entire time I wore it. Also it was really hard to zip and unzip the dress right where the top and skirt met. I never broke the zipper, but you do need someone to help you with it.

I love this dress but it may have been better for a winter affair: the skirt portion was a heavier material (brocade) than expected. Also, I needed pins/fashion tape to keep the back in place. Very sexy and comfy to dance in. Wish I had a statement necklace for it.

This dress was lovely on the hanger. It's a very nice fabric. But the skirt has pockets and made me look like I have a larger belly than I do. It was right across the shoulders and the zipper hurts when you sit against a chair. Up walking around it looks ok (except that it still adds weight around your midsection). It's just not a well fitting dress and I wish I had worn something else.

Great dress for ladies with a large bust size! I couldn't have been happier with this dress for my 3 month postpartum body! It does a wonderful job at hiding trouble areas! Would definitely rent this dress again!!

It was so adorable! I got so many compliments! The dress is only fitted at the top and is flared at the hip so I would size it from the waist up if I were you. The only issue is the back is cut low so I would get the lowest cut bra ever or go without. But seriously, I would buy this for myself if I could.

This dress was one of my favorite dresses that I've rented so far! As with other reviewers, the zipper is a little tricky. I did end up going with the 6 instead of the 4, although the 4 did fit. I just felt more comfortable in the 6. I received so many compliments on the dress throughout the night, it really is beautiful! The pockets and the silver in the skirt were a beautiful touch!! I love pretty much anything with pockets, so that was an added bonus. I will be renting this again!

I wore this to a formal holiday party with black tights. The dress is fitted at the waist and then has a full skirt with pockets. The skirt material is a thick brocade with a silver component and is perfect for the holidays. The back is low and the straps are wide, but I was able to wear a regular black bra and just had to pin the straps to the dress.

The dress is very comfortable! I usually ware a 4 so I ordered a 4 and a 6 to be safe. I ended up wearing the 6 because the waistband was a little tight and I wanted to be comfortable for dancing. Overall, I loved the dress - very pretty and very comfortable! Also, I had no problems wearing a normal strapless bra with this style!
