Both sizes fit comfortably but I ended up wearing the small. The dress was comfortable and flattering and I loved wearing it.

Great quality dress for someone that is small chested. Thick fabric was a bit hot for a summer beach wedding, but held its shape!

This dress fit perfectly! The waist was just a bit on the tight side but I prefer that to a dress hanging too loosely. The length was perfect. I do wish that it had a clasp because the zipper fell down a bit. I would rent again!

i love this dress! since i am so short i was worried it would be way too long, but the length was beautiful. it is high quality but was very light and breathable on a hot day outside. the straps are strong and i did not even need to wear a bra because of the support in the bust of the dress. it's super bright yellow so i stuck out :) loved it!

Loved this dress!! I wish I could keep it. I had a little trouble with the zipper but it was definitely worth it because I got so many compliments! I loved the classic fit of the dress with the bright yellow color. It could be tight for someone who is busty though! If you're the opposite of busty like me then don't worry about it.

Not sure why the other reviews said this dress runs small, it fit perfectly for me. I am 5'4" 136lbs and Med was just right. I did find there is a tiny stretch to the zipper so if I was maybe 140, a size large would have fit the ribcage but my bust wouldnt have been about to fit as the chest area is a lil gappy. As long as a person doesn't look down your shirt, you should be fine. Beautiful dress

This was actually my backup dress, but I was so pleased that it fit like it was made for me! It was very comfortable. I was the coordinator for this wedding and I was very busy and racing around making it all happen, and the last thing I would have needed was an uncomfortable dress (or one that showed sweat) --this dress made my day easy! Had to take off my shoes early since my feet hurt, so that was another story. I usually wear a medium, but this dress was a large, so definitely size up!

I loved the length of this dress, it went right below my knee and looked very elegant paired with nude heels. I did not not need to wear any kind of bra with this dress as it was fit snug against my body and gave me a nice boost. It was perfect to dance in but I will say that the straps felt a little tight after sitting for a while during dinner at the wedding reception.

I loved how this dress looked in photos and I loved that I could go bra-less without fear of a slip. I did feel that the lace wasn't very high quality and there was one piece on the bust that was awkwardly stuck folded over and wouldn't lay flat. Also, I could barely zip the XS over my rib cage (needed help!), so if you have a wider rib cage you might be more comfortable sizing up.

Very pretty dress perfect for the beach. I usually need a large in Slate and Willow but this dress was more forgiving, I could have worn a medium. It still worked out though and I liked the dress.

I wore this dress for my graduation and let me just say that the dress is beyond beautiful and the lace looked stunning!! But sadly there are cons, to which I blame the straps of this dress! The straps are the reason I took off one star since the straps are not adjustable! I ordered the xs and small and wore the xs but the right strap was WAAAYYY looser than the left side so the straps had to be pinned. Also, another bummer was that the dress looked like there was a built-in bra when you see it from the front, but there isn't, but either a strapless or nude bra works, I ended up wearing a nude bra.

This dress is adorable! Great, thick lace detail and design. Because of the cotton material and the fact that the dress is slightly worn, I would wear it to a casual event such as a BBQ or brunch and skip it for a special occasion. Overall, great color and nice fit! Bonus is that with a smaller chest, I didn't have to wear a bra in the size 4 and let perfectly snug.

I am very broad shouldered, as well as having DD boobs. I could just BARELY get this dress zippered. It was extremely tight up top, literally I felt like my boobs were so squished and that I was going to bust the zipper out if I ate too much. I got lots of compliments on the color of it, and the lace is very pretty. However, if you have broad shoulders, I would not recommend this because it's going to be super hard to zipper, as well as be comfortable in.

The fit ran small around the bust area and the zipper was hard to close but other than that it was fun and bright and I received many compliments!
