I was worried about wearing such a tight dress but it was honestly so comfy and flattering and I’m really glad I used it for the party I attended. Perfect fit literally and figuratively.

I wore this dress to a friend's rehearsal dinner. It's super comfortable and fits really well. I liked it more in person than in the photos I saw. It's great for anything "Gatsby" themed.

This dress was very fitted but I could still move and dance in it because it had a little stretch to it. It was a great length for my body because I am short! I got lots of compliments all night!

Loved everything about this dress!! I felt gorgegous and confident in it. The fit was perfect and I got a ton of compliments. The sequins rubbed my arms which was a little uncomfortable, but not enough to make me want to take it off.

This was my first rental with RTR. This dress was perfect for a black tie November wedding. The online pictures of this dress truly do not do it justice. I received numerous complements on this dress. I had read reviews that the under arms get scratchy but I did not experience this. I normally wear between a size 4 and 6. I'm very happy I got a free backup size because the 4 was a bit snug, but the 6 fit perfectly. This dress is very comfortable for dancing, but I would recommend not lifting your arms above your head as it is a bit short. My only 'complaint' with this dress is that upon close inspection it does appear to have been worn. Others likely won't notice, especially when people start drinking. When I received the dress it was clean and did not smell bad or like another person had worn it. Returning the dress was as easy as dropping it off at the counter at UPS the next day. I had a much easier time returning this dress than my boyfriend did returning his tux. I will definitely be renting from RTR again!

Wore this to a casino night fund raiser. Very comfortable and has some stretch. Loved that I could wear a regular bra. I am right at 5 '3" and the length was perfect for me. I got tons of compliments all night. A great dress!!!

It was a bit tight in the arms and body and couldnt really move around. Family loved it (wore to a Xmas party).

This dress was actually my backup style. The dress I rented was beautiful, but too long for my height, even with tall heels. I never felt uncomfortable in this dress and it was super easy to wear. No adjustments or fidgeting necessary the entire night. I absolutely loved wearing this dress and I felt amazing. The boyfriend was a fan of the dress too ^_^

I ended up wearing a different rented dress for my event but this one was a close 2nd! It is very comfortable for being fully beaded! It is a tad short for a 5'8 girl who's a little fuller, 138lbs. It would be the perfect dress for holiday!

Great for a roaring 20's gala fundraiser! Both the 0 and 2 fit because the fabric was so comfortable and it had some give. I went with the 0 because it fit under the arms better. The zipper on the 2 was a little difficult to get up and down. Other reviews mentioned it was very short, and it is short, but at a 5'4" height, I didn't really notice.

I love this dress! I got so many compliments on it as well. I usually wear a size 6 but I wore the larger size as the 8 gave me a little more length and room in the upper arms. Would definitely rent again!

This was for my nephew's wedding. My sister, the mom of the groom, was wearing sequins & I knew this was a fancier wedding, so I felt safe that it wouldn't be too much. I was truly expecting the 12 to work & had planned for a 14 as a back up just in case from reading it ran a little small or short, but they were out of the 14, so thankfully I got the 10 instead & it fit perfectly. The 12 had too much gap on hips and neck like. The sequins under the arm bothered me none. It was comfortable, not to hot to wear on a summer day, & easily paired with many color options. I rented a gold cuff, earrings & a gold clutch from here as well. All went beautifully. Toes painted gold, nails navy, black heels. I got so many compliments just as the other descriptions say. It really made me feel beautiful. I would only suggest to make sure it's that fancy of an event so you don't take to much shine away from the others ;) Very very pleased! ( It wasn't too short til I had to get in my van and drive, then it kinda formed into a shirt, ha. But sitting at the table wasn't too bad, just had to scooch it down a bit here & there. )

I felt this dress skimmed the body but wasn't too form-fitting - what I would expect from a shift style. The color was really beautiful - much more stunning in person and everyone loved it!

I rented this for my birthday dinner and didn't even care that I was overdressed. I felt fabulous and it is easy to wear with any bra, got to love that! It is not very scratchy and wore great with tights for a night out in January.

Fits perfectly, to size...not too loose or too tight. Material is thick but I never got too hot with it. I wore it in 90 degree weather. Perfect for formal occasion or wedding.

I am a fairly petite person; short, small chested, so this dress fit well!! I ordered a 4 and got the back up size in a 6 because sometime i can be a weird in-between-size; i put the 4 on and didnt even try the 6 because the 4 fit so well.I know there were other reviews about it being scratchy, but i experienced none of that, even dancing all night!!

Although it ran a little small, one size up fit perfectly. The sequins don't scratch or scrape, and it's comfortable (as long as you don't expect any give in the fabric). I danced at the reception without any problems.

I wore this dress to a friend's wedding. It was better than I had hoped it was going to be! First off, the color is really flattering. The sequins shimmer in different light and make the dress really eye catching. The sequins are a little itchy but I'm not scratched anywhere like other reviewers mentioned. Also, I'm busty but my girls had lots of room. You could also really pair this with a lot of shoes. I had gold ones but black, navy or nude would all look nice. The only cons I have are this dress is pretty short. I'm only 5"3' so if you were very tall and wore the 2 it may get uncomfortably short. Also the lining is polyester and does not breathe. Our event was outside so I was very warm at cocktail hour.

I ordered a 2 and a 4, the 2 fit, but since it was for graduation I went with the 4, which gave it more room and some length. I got compliments all night long! It wasn't too scratchy under the arms, but sitting in it for two hours was pretty uncomfortable. Rent the Runway never disappoints!

I rented this dress for a sequin themed Bachelorette party. I rented a 12 and 14. The 12 was snug near my arms so I opted for the bigger size. I thought the length was perfect. It was very comfortable fitting. I was worried about the sequin irritating my arms, but they didn't bother me one bit. This dress looked great in pictures too! I loved this dress so much and would consider renting it again.

I wore this for my friend's Great Gatsby-themed wedding, and it was perfect. I'm usually between a 2-4, and the 2 fit like a glove. The dress wasn't too dark for a spring wedding. It was a great dress for dancing, but my only complaint is that the undersides of my arms were a little scratched by the end of the night. Overall, it was a great dress for the wedding's theme.

The dress fit really well around my bust which is usually my problem area. I wore a size up because I wanted more of a shift look. The length was great and hit about 4 inches above my knee. Like other reviews said the sequins under the arms bothered me but only at the end of the night after lots of dancing. I wore this with the Southern Plantation earrings from Nicole Miller, and they perfectly complimented the dress.

The dress fit wonderfully! It was about thigh length, fit the bust and waist as described and was not restricting or tight. I was able to dance and eat as much as I wanted without feeling uncomfortable. This dress was definitely one of the best I have ever worn.

I felt great in this dress, and loved the compliments I got all night :) The 6 fit perfectly and was very flattering, and was still comfortable enough to dance the night away! My only regret was not taking any pictures at the actual event (excuse my mirror selfie), but that just means I can rent it again for another occasion!

It fit very true to size. It was a little warm and itchy, but that's to be expected with all the sequins. The dress limited my range of motion in the arms, because there was no stretch. Overall I absolutely loved this dress.

The fit was great! A little short so had to be careful on the dance floor but a great party dress! The sequins scratched my arms slightly, but nothing to horrible.

This is probably one of my favorite, if not very favorite, dress I've rented from RTR. It's really just beautiful and flattering. It fits well, the sequin-y material didn't bother me, and actually I found it very comfortable. Everyone thought it was really stunning. It fit very well if you have a larger bust size. Such a pretty dress!
