Perfect to move from convention to cocktail parties afterward! Perfect for traveling, material doesn’t wrinkle. Wore in December and material was thicker so I wasn’t freezing! This was the only picture I had!

This dress was fun and added a nice addition to my long row of LDBs. From the photos online, I thought it was a bit longer so dressed down a bit to better fit for the environment of the day - museum gathering.

Rented for a work event, looked nice and stylish, good quality. The sleeves are not as sheer as pictured - they mostly look black and you can only see in certain lights that they are sheer, so this outfit looks a bit more formal and a bit less sexy than I expected.

Enough said. Loved it.

This is such a comfortable and elegant dress, it was above the knee and when you sit it rises up so I ensured to wear it with black pantyhose. True to size

This dress fit well. I wear a 4 or 6 depending on the dress. I got away with a 4 in this dress with no problems. I don't have hips but it did create some shape. I wore it to a work reception. I'd rent this again.

I'm a huge fan of this dress- I've rented it multiple times. I'd previously rented the size 2 which does fit me, but I prefer the 4 for some breathing room. I wore this to work, to dinner, on Friday night- I think it's a great take on a black dress and is conservative without being boring - and it's very comfortable!

I was hesitant to rent this because of the bow feature. For some reason they usually look awkward or unkempt on me. That was not the case with this piece. It fit like a glove, and hit in all the right places. The armpit area was a tiny bit uncomfortable (where the sheer sleeves meet the stretchy body), but otherwise I was 100% amazed, and felt polished and professional all day.

I wore this dress to church in the Fall. It looked great with dark tights and ankle booties. It was comfortable and simple.

I love this classic dress by Slate & Willow! Running true to size with lots of stretch, I recommend wearing your true size for your primary size. This style is loosely fitted throughout the midsection and hips. It works for all cup sizes and works best with any bra. At 5'3", the length hit mid thigh on me. I love the silhouette and neck detail of this dress! Pair with nude or black heels to complete your outfit!

I liked this dress a lot more in-person than I thought I would from photos. It was very comfortable, with everything except for the sleeves being a thicker material than I had anticipated. The dress had a good shape but was not particularly form fitting or tight (I would have been curious to see the fit of the 4, but only rented the 6), as there was definitely an extra inch or two of fabric.

I got lots of compliments on this. People kept telling me I looked so chic and fashionable but the dress is still super work appropriate. For context, I work as a lawyer in law firm environment. The bottom half of the dress was very stretchy but I could've gone up a size so it was a little less body hugging. It still looked good and wasn't too bodycon, but I probably would've been a little more comfortable with a size up.

This dress really is gorgeous. However, it's definitely too short for my comfort. Even in opaque tights I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing this for work. I can't bend down! I'm sure it'd be fine for date night but that's about it.

Rented this for work (I'm a litigator and need court-appropriate clothes). It would have been too short without tights (and I'm only 5'3!) but was fine with tights. It's tight but not too tight for work. Love the bow detail at the neck. The material is thick through the body of the dress and thin and silky in the arms.

Still short at one size up but fit fairly well. Wanted to tug it down so the waist was in the right place. Pretty sleeves.

SO cute but does run a touch on the small side. Not unwearable, just tight in shoulders and a little short. Still so cute though, but other reviewers mentioned the neck flopping down in the back which it did. Nbd if wearing hair down, probably an issue if wearing hair up

Runs short and slightly small

Not sure if it's from wear/usage, but the top of the neck in the back of the dress flops backwards and looks bizarre. My hair is too short to cover it. Also the hemline is wobbly/curvy and looks a little strange. Didn't end up wearing it but I like the sleeves and the concept of the dress.

This dress was so pretty on- now I am an hourglass and though it laid on my curves appropriately, though a 4 would have fit better. Sometimes it's nice to wear a dress that's not super form fitting. Would wear it again!
