The waist band was a bit loose looking, but I think I am the only one who noticed that. I am also only 5'3 so it was a little longer than I prefer, but it was totally okay. Loved this dress overall.

I ordered this in a 4 and a 6 (I'm typically a 4) and the 4 was perfect. I wore a black strapless bra under the navy dress, and as long as I positioned things right, the bra wasn't visible. It may have been a little more racy on a larger-busted person, not sure... I'm a 34A and the top fit well. Dress was comfortable, I just made sure to sit up straight/ have good posture due to the cutout. A fun alternative to predictable black for my cocktail event!

I got my usual size (4) and it was a little tight around the middle. I don’t have a flat stomach, but you couldn’t really tell with this dress, and it wasn’t super uncomfortable. I wore it for about 4-5 hours, mostly sitting with some standing and posing for photos, and that was enough for me - any more and I think I would have wanted to tear it off! But it was worth it, I got so many compliments and the look and feel of the top and the skirt made me feel so pretty. If you can deal with a little discomfort and tightness around the bodice for a few hours I would definitely go for this. The length was also nice too, and I am pretty short.

Wore it to a hat party and it was just the dress that was talked about in the party. Very comfortable and chick.

True to fit; there isn't a hook for the zipper on the side which I thought was going to be an issue but was not. I received many compliments.

I wore the 6 because while the 4 fit the top was very tight.

I'm 5'3 118lbs 34C and wore the size 2. It fit perfectly. I chose not to wear a bra due to the cut and felt secure. Definitely a show stopper and a classic!

Loved the dress but didn't get a full body shot, oops! I'm pear shape with a small chest and size 10 fit okay on the hips with some room to spare. Lots of compliments and it made me feel great! I loved the little cutout in the front and back!

LOVED this dress! It was so comfortable to dance in but it looked so elegant! The chest is a bit too tight for a bra (I'm a 32C), so I used boob tape to hold the girls up, but it worked out wonderfully! Really very lovely and everyone wanted to know where I'd gotten it from!

I wore this to a sit down food and wine dinner in which cocktail attire was requested. Because it was a dinner, I loved that the waist was elastic and comfortable (I was able to eat to my heart's content). The dress is a very pretty lace, with a slip. I loved the off the shoulder look with the keyhole in the front. It modernized the lace to make it more trendy but still very classy. I received multiple compliments on the dress and I would definitely wear it again.

Also didn't have to wear a bra which was nice. Received a lot of compliments and felt super funky! The length is above the knee for short girls. Would rent again!

Overall not my style - sort of Nantucket mom vibes. Fit well, but the fabric around the waist I thought was a bit too bulky. Looked solid just not my style and did not work for the event I was renting for.

This was a fun dress to wear, I didn’t want to take it off! High quality, comfortable fit, great length for my height. The dressy is dark navy and champagne color underneath which I really loved! I have a small bust but was able to insert some cups and they just stayed right in place the day. I would definitely wear this dress again and highly recommend it! I got so many compliments on this dress! I usually wear a 0 but it felt a bit snug so I went with the size 2. The dress was super comfortable with a stretchy waistband. The cut was a little low for my boobs but I loved it anyway!

Fits a little tight in the chest so I would recommend sizing up. I’m 5 4 and I thought the length was a great for a modest formal look. The fit was very unique and I got so many compliments. Get luxurious all night! The waistband got a little tight after dinner, so definitely consider ordering a larger backup size for comfort.

Loved this dress! I picked it because it was unique in the cut. The dress hit me right below the knees which is where I wanted it to come. It was a little tight where the elastic waist band was. The top was a little big and bunched where the triangle cutout was but the dress was still really cute.

I loved the look of this dress and the overall comfort. It is different than most dresses with the one sided strap, the banded waist, and bell shaped skirt. I would highly recommend this dress. I received so many compliments.

Pros: comfortable, able to wear strapless bra, not too long (I'm short), beautiful design and cut to flatter natural waist Cons: may have to size up if you have a larger chest (I had very little extra room in size 4 with an A cup), definitely need slightly higher heels due to length if you're short, and that's it because this dress is awesome!

I'm 5'3", 150lbs and a 36E. I NEVER go braless, but other reviews said you could so I trusted. I didn't feel like I had to readjust at all! It was awesome! The fabric is beautiful and the little cut-outs add a great design element without showing too much. Overall I loved it! Made me feel great, especially after just having a baby!

I loved this dress!! I will rent again for sure. I wore it to a charity dinner. It was so comfortable and I felt sexy, but appropriate. It does run small though. I'm normally between a 6 and 8, depending on how much the dress has room in the bust area. I read the other reviews though saying it ran small so rented an 8 and 10, I ended up in the 10. The 8 fit in the waist, but no way it was going over my dd boobs.

This dress was perfect! Fit like a glove, no bra needed! The one shoulder was comfortable & very flattering! Loved the knee length with the navy blue overlay! The dark navy color was different & better than boring black!

I think the cutout makes this dress. It was tight on my waist, but no skin poked out, luckily. I couldn't have fit a bra under this but the material was tight enough to keep everything in place. The side zipper area had stretch which saved the day for me. I probably could have worn an 8 with more comfort. I wore it to a family wedding & it photographed very well! It feels expensive & is not cheaply made.

I’ve rented twice from rent the runway and I’ve noticed that I’ve had to size up both times. Fortunately, this was never an issue because of the free second option (thank you RTR). I’m small chested and filled out the top part perfectly. The cutouts and lace pattern are so cute and flirty. The uniqueness of this dress had me receiving compliments all night. I cannot say enough good things about the dress and RTR overall!

The length was perfect on the dress as well as the fit of the skirt. The top portion was a bit on the tighter side. Pretty true to size perhaps a tad bit on the small end up top. If you’re larger chested size up!

This dress was PERFECT for an October barn wedding. Sturdy material, such a unique cut, and soooo flattering. I got compliments from everybody! My family's more conservative, so I was worried about showing too much skin, but a wrap worked with it perfectly. It does run small, and I'm busty, so I sized up. A sticky bra helped keep the girls in place, and I danced the night away with no problems. Obsessed.

I rented a 4 and 6 because I’m usually a 4, but ended up wearing the size 6. The size 4 would have fit but my chest was too big (size 32DD) and there was no way the zipper could close because of my boobs. The 6 fit well and the material was supportive so I don’t even need a bra. The only problem was now the shoulder was a little too loose so the dress slid down and exposed side boob on both sides. I used fashion tape to tape the dress to my skin and it worked and stayed in place all night. I'm short (5'0") and this was mid-shin on me or slightly lower. I loved this dress. It was comfortable to wear because the waist had some stretch and the material felt nice but wasn’t heavy at all. Showed a little skin but was appropriate for a wedding. Lots of compliments and I felt so pretty!
