A little tight around the hips, but overall the fit was perfect

The size 6 was large on me. One size smaller would've fit and looked really good. The waist ran large and I had to use a belt to cinch it in. Too much fabric around the legs and I would've preferred a more penciled tapered look. I had to roll out the hem. If I rent it again, I'll go down one size. FYI, I'm 5'1" and 120 lbs.

I would have loved these if the waist band wasn't so worn and stretched out. These could only be worn with a top that was both longer and flared. A tad tight in the thighs and hips.

Rented for a Chanukah party- the Festival of Lights so I wore something sparkly. Got so many compliments...not just because it was my party! The fit was fine on me but if you have a narrow waist it could be problematic. Perfect rental. I loved these.

I'm usually between size 0 and 2 and I wore the size 0 so I'd say these run slightly large but only around the waist which is helpful for a night of eating and drinking. I'm 5'-1" so these fit me like pants instead of capris so were perfect for a 50th anniversary auction party with golden theme. I got tons of compliments all night. They were flashy yet still so classy. Perfect statement piece.

Was a little tight in the hips and thighs, but waist size was right. Formed a bit to my body as I wore them. Lighter material than they look!

They are stiff but I found them true to size. There is a half elastic waistband which provides some comfort in movement. I have small thighs and no hips so the pull across the top of the leg wasn't noticeable.

I originally rented this for a holiday party but ended up instead wearing it for everyday wear and LOVED IT. I can't even count how many compliments i got on them. They do get looser in the waist over time but a belt helped. When sitting down I noticed that they came really low down in the back so I wore it with a chic all black light jacket that covered it in the back and a tighter black top tucked into the pants.

This was a beautiful fabric and perfect for the holidays in Las Vegas. However it is not a stretchy material and the waist is rather straight. I had a lot of room around the waist despite the elastic band, which I managed to cover up with a thick belt. Otherwise I loved them.

Really, 4.5 Stars. Just like others said, weird fit in the waist - Just big there but great everywhere else. Still wore them and really like them. Paired with medium-heeled black booties that the pants hit right at the top + a black turtleneck.

As other reviewers mentioned, the fit was a bit weird. I have hips and a butt so it was a little tight around that section. I had a hard time putting my hands in the pockets, even just to put the pockets back in. And lifting my legs higher than a step was impossible due to the zero stretch. The waist was big though. The elastic in the back helped enough that it didnt look bad, but I did occasionally have to pull the pants up. Overall, I loved the pants. If they had been a bit more comfortable to wear I think I'd want them forever.

I listened to the reviews and ordered a size up and they were way too big! The material doesn't have stretch but They have elastic in the back for my bubble butt so I guess it depends?. I haven't tried my size so I don't know how they fit but I wish I would have just ordered my standard size and ignored the reviews.

I'm rented these pants for a marti gras party. Definitely bright gold party pants!! I got lots of compliments. As noted with previous renters, the sizing was a little weird. The thighs were tight and the waist was very large. I had to wear a belt. The top in the picture is also a runway rental. Great pants, I would recommend but just be aware of the leg/waste sizing issues.

This was my first time renting pants from RTR and overall I'd say it was a success. Most reviews were very accurate, that the pants were tight through the thighs and a little loose in the back. I was able to wear a belt to keep the bunching in the back from being bothersome, and I felt they fit through my thighs just fine, but I could see where they could be tight on someone else. Length is perfect for me, and I'm about 5'3" or a tiny bit more. I got tons of compliments on them, and when I told people they were pants that I rented from RTR, people couldn't believe it; I think they only thought you could get dresses there! Definitely eye-catching and a lot of fun!

Wore these pants for NYE. I wore a 4 but would have been more comfoerable in a 6. Waist fit great but very tight in the leg/thigh area. Pants almost have no give. I felt fine standing, but sitting was kinda uncomfortable. Still loved wearing them!

I rented these for New Years Eve and they were so fun to wear. They look really gold/ shimmery under bright lighting but more patterned in darker lighting. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because they were a little itchy and not a ton of stretch. I'm short (5 ' 3') and had to cuff them up to get the right length. These a bit big too so I would size down. Overall had a lot of fun wearing them!

When I say this ran small, I mean only in the thighs. I have long skinny limbs (legs & arms) and so I usually have the problem that pants are tight around the waist but very big throughout the legs. So it was shocking that these fit fine around the waist (perhaps because elastic in the back) but that my thighs seemed ready to bust out. Very pretty design but also very thin material that would work best in spring and won't keep you warm on a cold day.

First and most important, the material has NO stretch. It was right across my bottom and I had trouble sitting. I felt like I was going to split them and I'm a narrow woman. The waist was slightly large on me even with the black elastic banding on the waist. I'm still glad I ordered the 4 because the 6 would have been too large on my waist. Be forewarned that the pants are stunning but the for is not easy.

If only these weren't such an odd fitting pant. The print is fun and vibrant. I wore them for a more casual masquerade party, so they fit the theme wonderfully. I'm typically a 10 in pants. As others have written, even the size up (12) was overly tight in the thigh but gaping in the waste. I hiked them as high as I could bc my shirt covered that area but then of course the crotch was pulling. Otherwise the crotch would've been at my knees if I put the natural waste of the pant in its place. I made them work bc I had no other choice but I detest feeling fidgety and uncomfortable about what I'm wearing. It almost ruins my evening. :(

After reading the reviews that the pants ran small, i ordered the 4, and i was swimming in them! My frame is slender, 5'6 and 115 lbs, but i typically wear a 2-4. These pants were very large on the waist and i found myself constantly pulling them up. The legs were also quite roomy and rather unflattering from behind. That being said, love the color and pattern. The pants are unique and perfect for the holiday season. I would recommend ordering your true size or one smaller, especially if you have average to slender hips. If your hips are larger, than perhaps sizing up since there isnt any fabric give.

10/12 is my usual size, but pants cannot come up past mid-thigh, I suggest you size up for comfort.

Waist fit ok but a tad loose, hips and seat fit way too tight. I could not wear. (I usually wear tailored pants in a 10 and sometimes even an 8. I would have had to have tried a 12 in these pants.) Beautiful fabric, lighter weight than expected, fun ruffle along back waist.

these run very small. i couldn't even begin to zip them, and i am typically always a size 4.

The cut of these is just off. Too tight across one spot in the hips (where the pockets are) made them impossible to sit down in. Fit everywhere else with room so it's disappointing the cut didn't take into consideration that we might want to sit down wearing these!

These pants have zero stretch. I am a curvy girl and these didn't make it past my thighs even though I got my normal size.

Runs small, pretty pant but a little boxy

No give or stretch so I couldn't sit down. But the embroidery was fraying. Weird ruffled elastic back that didn't show in pictures so it's hard to pull over and cover that with a top without a bunching silhouette.

Couldn't wear them at all bc they were too big at waist, entire fit was baggy, maybe don't suggest it's a great fit if it won't be.

These pants are cut pretty terribly, I think because it's a part of RTR's own label. I ordered my usual size but the thigh area was way too tight while the waist was very loose. Pretty unwearable and not flattering at all. Did not wear out in public.
