Got this dress for a fancy holiday party. I got black gloves on Amazon to match. Dress is stunning. I originally ordered a size 4 and couldn’t zip it up all the way. The RTR team was kind enough to send me another one in time for the event.

Wore this for a rehearsal dinner/welcome reception for a wedding in Colorado. The weight was perfect, it didn't blow up in the wind and helped keep me warm! The pockets made it possible for me to forgo a purse which was very nice. I did have to pull the top up throughout the night, but had I worn the 2 i think I would've been a little uncomfortable with how tight it was.

This dress fit me perfectly! I am usually a 10 and the 10 in this dress was great. I absolutely loved this dress and got so many compliments!

Ok, so first with the pros: I wore this to an evening at the ballet and got CONSTANT compliments from other patrons, security guards, docents...literally everyone. And pockets! The con for me was sizing. I'm split size, a snug 6 on bottom and 4 on top. With a-line dresses like this, I usually get a 4. My boobs were drowning in a 4, but due to the waist (27" on me), I opted for a replacement size 2, figuring that would work. Honestly, I needed a 0. Used silicone tape to make sure it stayed up.

i wore this to a tony awards after party in nyc in 2019 and regret not just buying this gown outright. i fell in love with it immediately! this silhouette was so flattering to my curves. the fit was supportive but comfy. it was the perfect mix of sexy and elegant. i got compliments all night long! RTR made the entire process so easy. highly recommend this service, this dress in particular is perfect for hourglass figures!

Well made it does run slightly large in bust but a bra takes care of it quickly. Love it so much I'm renting it again for another event.

I felt beautiful and sexy in this dress. Would totally order it again and again if I could. I was banking on needing to go up a size in the dress, so I ordered my backup bigger. I ended up wearing the smaller size (12R) because it fit better around my chest. The larger size kept sliding down and was not supportive. With a strapless bra on, it fit perfectly. The fabric is a little heavy, so I got hot throughout the night but I think this is a testament to how good of quality it is. I could dance and move without feeling like the dress was falling off of me. It was also easy to move around it. At the end of the night I felt sad taking the dress off. I would definitely rent it again.

Wore this for a university's formal event and it did not disappoint. I was worried about having to pull it up all night long (I don't normally go for strapless) but I was surprised at how well it stayed put. The slight asymmetrical hemline made it stand out and the colors were just beautiful. I will say that the waistline has very little give so be sure to order a size up for your backup size. Overall, I loved it! PS - I'm a 5'4, 36DD with an hourglass shape.

This dress is legit. It fit true to size and I LOVED the pockets. There was no need for me to wear any bra with this as it fit snug and there was plenty of support. It really was the perfect dress for this event. Great heavy fabric, superb quality.. and for us shorties, the high/low cant be beat. This was my backup and I'm so glad I got it!

The dress seems yo fit small at the top however my view might be a little different because i am large at the hips and small at the top. The color changed in the light. It either looks fusia or red or purple depending on the light.

This was actually my backup dress when my original order was delayed due to a winter storm. RTR customer service was awesome and overnighted this dress in two sizes. This dress is even more beautiful in person. The pink flowers really shimmer. I received many compliments on this dress. I wore this to a black tie dinner and really stood out in a room full of black dresses. The fit is true to size but did need a bra to ensure it stayed in place. Once this dress was on it wasn't going anywhere and I never felt like I had to keep pulling up on it. I was so sad to return this dress to RTR. I am 5'1, 115 pounds and 32DD. I wore 2 inch heels and the dress was a couple inches off the floor in the back. Do yourself a favor and rent this dress!

Very cute dress! It was dressy enough for a black tie optional. It was comfortable. The dress is made of a heavy fabric and loved the pockets! Glad it was a cool evening! I am just under 5'2", so know that the dress will be a little longer on a not so tall person!

The fit on this dress was perfect to size for me. I wore it with a strapless bustier which gave it a bit more structure up top and held it in place perfectly. I was surprised at the double layer of fabric in the skirt, as I don't think any other reviewers mentioned it. Gave great shape but also made the dress a bit heavy and hot at times (my only tiny complaint). Wearing the bustier helped the dress stay up and keep shape. The best thing by far were the pockets which are nice and deep and placed into the folds of the skirt so nobody had a clue that I had my phone, compact, and lipstick in them all night. Received endless compliments on the gown all night long and felt like an absolute supermodel. I told all of our donors and board members it was a Rent the Runway and they were so impressed. I paired it with the Slate & Willow Crystal and Black Statement necklace. I updated my profile but just in case it doesn't come through - I am 5'2", 34C, 125lb athletic body type.

This dress was higher quality than I have ever purchased. The foto doesnt show the shimmery satin in the multi pink flowers in the lusceous brocade. The zipper was difficult but used tweezers to get a grip. Lots of complements!

The top of this was a little large for me so i ended up having to wear a strapless bra but I️ didn't find myself pulling it up all night either. I got SO many compliments and wish i could where it again and again. The pockets were a huge plus too!

This dress is absolutely gorgeous! I’m 5’4 and 110 lbs. I wore the 0 and the dress, unfortunately, was a bit too big but I tried to make it work anyway. It fell a little bit as you can see in the picture, but it was gorgeous nonetheless and I received lots of compliments. I love the tea length in the front and the longer gown look in the back, which made for a more dramatic formal look.

I love the sheen and structure on this dress, it makes it feel elegant. The big skirt and pockets make it fun. I'm usually a true 10 and the 12 on me was a bit tight (this was helpful in keeping it in place though since I didn't wear a bra). If you have a larger chest it might not work. Otherwise it's beautiful and I got lots of compliments!

Great for petite. Boning was poking through the top though, watch for that.

Wore this dress as a wedding guest, got SO MANY compliments on it!! It was a bit tight and the boning in the back of the dress got uncomfortable at the end of the night but it was totally worth it! It looked beautiful!

This dress was a snug fit around the bust with built in padding. However I felt like I had great support. It has pockets. Nice fabric. Great airflow. Did I mention it has pockets? Received so many compliments.

The 8R fit like a glove! I’m usually between a 6 and an 8, but sized up due to bust size. And it fit so so well! I wore it for my graduation and party afterwards (about seven hours straight) and NEVER had to pull it up. The zipper was finicky but still worked. And it has POCKETS! Because it’s a full skirt and makes you feel like a queen, you can’t even tell when your pockets are full with your phone or snacks or whatever you want to stuff these sizable pockets with. Highly recommend this dress.

Loved this dress when I got it on. It was perfect for the black tie event that I attended. However, like the other reviews said, it is almost impossible to get on. You definitely cannot do it by yourself. There is an extremely stiff, invisible zipper. That is super hard to zip up over the bust. To get it off, I took off my strapless bra, pulled it down under my boobs and turned it around to unhook and unzip. Maybe that’s the best way to get it on?

The chest was uncomfortable and didn't fit me very well. Even so, the pics still look AMAZING! Hoping I'll have better luck with dresses after babies and nursing is over.

Overall I loved the dress and I felt so beautiful in it! The quality was amazing-the material was so well-made and thick, the jacquard flowers were gorgeous and I loved the strapless top. My one complaint with the dress was that the zipper got stuck in one spot in both sizes and I couldn't zip it all the way.

Great dress for a gala. Very comfortable. Received compliments all night. Had to size down because the bust was too loose and kept slipping. The dress has no stretch, very rigid.

This dress was so pretty. But the one I got was snagged in the back and the zipper was very hard to zip up. There's no stretch. It was lose on my chest and tight on my waist. This is why I had to size up. It's best for ladies with a small waist and large chest. But it was comfortable and so pretty. And the pockets were perfect to carry my phone in. I got a lot of compliments and overall I'm glad I chose this dress.
