I saw reviews it runs large but decided with the couple covid pounds I put on I should go with my normal size, it still ran large. It was a gorgeous dress though. I'd definitely rent it in a smaller size and wear it again.

Great fit, thick material. I did not need to wear a bra for the top which was great since the shoulders are see through.

Absolutely loved this dress. So much so that I wish there was an option to purchase. I wore a black crinoline underneath to add a bit of fullness. I'm short so it was almost tea length on me. I have never received so many compliments on a single dress in my life.... except maybe for my wedding dress. It was comfortable, even with wearing a strapless bra. This was the first time I had rented and I will absolutely do so again.

This was a beautifully detailed dress. It did run large and the size that I wanted had a hole by the zipper so I ended up wearing the bigger size, but with a little pinching it was perfect. I received compliments all day and night on it. It was super light and comfortable too! Easy to host in!

This dress was so flattering!! I felt so good in it. Nice and light fabric so not too heavy for dancing and moving around. The sweetheart neck and floral print have a retro feel and the Swiss dot overlay is so fun! The only weird thing is the back hooks at the top of the neck and the hook on my wouldn't stay clasped. Would definitely rent again!

I always read the reviews and the reviews said that the dress ran large. I'm normally a size 22, so I ordered an 18 and a 20 for my dress and back up. the size 18 fit perfectly and it boosted my self-esteem to wear a smaller size!! You can wear a normal bra, no more panties, and I wore thigh-high stockings and the dress went low enough to cover the top. I chose to wear flats but I feel any style shoe would go with this.

Wore this to a super-hip friend's wedding and got SO MANY compliments on it! The dress is so comfortable and let me eat, drink and dance all night without any worry. The dress definitely runs big - I read the other reviews, so I ordered my normal size and a size down and was so glad I had the smaller size bc my normal size was way too big. Would order and wear this dress again in a heartbeat!

This style runs true to size. I would go one size down for your backup. There is a lot of room in the bust, so it may be better those those with a larger cup size. This is a classic fit and flare style. It is fitted at the waist and relaxed through the hip area. Because of the sheer shoulders I suggest this style be worn with a strapless bra. There is not stretch to this fabric.

I rented this dress in a bigger size because of my bust and it turned out to be too big in some ways. However, I got a LOT of compliments on the style and color. Would i rent it again? Yes, but in a 16 and not 16W just bc of my chest.

This was a backup dress for me. I normally wear a 12 so the 14W was a bit large. I paired it with a belt and jacket to make it work. I felt it was a bit matronly because of the size. But I received a lot of compliments on the look. I t definitely gave the holiday sparkle I needed. would rent again if avail in a 14 regular.

Runs large. The other reviews said the top ran big so I thought, "no problem, my 36D's will fill it out." No, it's the whole dress that's large so get a size down. I received a lot of compliments. The dress made me feel confident and fun. I adore the pattern of roses! I wore with black hose and ankle boots as well as a denim button up as a "jacket."

This dress turned out well due to the warm weather experienced during an outdoor wedding. Was not expecting the incredibly thin material. Perfect for a spring/summer wedding or event. Really easy to wear and true to size. Didn't wear shape wear (because I was running super late getting ready). If I had, probably could have used a smaller time. Hid a multitude of sins and floated over my curves and didn't cling. I'd probably wear a slip/ shapewear if I rented this dress again.

This was my complimentary add-on dress, so I wasn't upset when it didn't fit. The reviews said it runs large and it does. I'm usually a size 16, so I got a 14W. It was still too large in the bodice and bust (I'm a 36D). I think a size 18, or perhaps even 20, would be able to wear this is in a 14W. Otherwise, it was true to the picture and looked very nice. It was made in a light, comfortable material.

The dress was a little large based on the size chart measurements. Everything was proportional i.e. the bust was roomy, the side gussets were roomy and the length was just right. The colors, material and quality were spot on.

Loved this dress! So flattering even around the stomach where I carry all my weight. The dress was slightly roomy so you may want to size down for your backup. Colors and fabric make it more appropriate for winter rather than summer.

Comfortable, nice bit of swing in the skirt. Love the feminine print and the polka dots. Feels pretty and romantic. A hint of 1950s in the silhouette made this feel and look classic with a modern edge.

This was my back up dress and I ended up liking it more than my planned dress. It was perfect for a holiday party. I felt pretty, classy, and still comfortable. The dress does run big, I typically wear an 18 and wore a 16 easily. It is prettier than it looks, from the pictures my husband thought it was flat out ugly but he loved it on! Thank you Rent the Runway! Oh, also plan on wearing a strapless bra...

Loved this dress and got many compliments. It is generous in the bust, which is sometimes an issue for me, so I was able to wear the 14. I wore it with a strapless bra and black sheer stockings.

The fit was slightly room, especially up top. It was a fun and bright print. The dress was easy to wear, comfortable. Lots and lots of compliments!

I went with the back up size (18W) because the 20W (my normal size) was too large. The 18 fit PERFECTLY. It was unique and beautifully designed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I wore this dress for a Halloween party where I went as an 80's prom queen. The 14W was a bit large on my 4 ft' 11 frame which is surprising because I am a 36DD, but I was excited that I was able to make this dress work and since there was a lot of stretch I wore a belt to make this more fitted around the waist and come up a bit higher. The fabric is very beautiful.

Fit was big, got some complements though, it was a good dress for a hot summer wedding!

Very pretty in person, but hit below the knee on my 5'5" frame, which felt a little long for me. My usual size of 18W did not fit at all, and I didn't have a size smaller, so I didn't wear it.

Size 12/14 dresses are often a little tight on me, so I went for the 14W with this dress. Unfortunately it was much too large and I ended up not wearing it. It was also a bit more formal than expected. It's definitely good for a fancy date or wedding; but it was a little too much for my birthday dinner. The quality of the dress and the style is great! It was just not a good fit---which is more my fault than the dresses fault. I'll know better for next time!

The dress was large and a bit loose in the chest area. I wish the rose fabric went all the way up the back instead of ending at the waist area.

It's a cute dress with a 50s kind of vintage feel. Unfortunately it ran too big and it didn't fit properly. It was boxy with no waistline. I wear a 42C and it was loose in the bust. I ordered a 16 and an 18, and I typically wear a size 16 but I think with this dress, a 14 would have worked.

The dress is really lovely. The material is very pretty and very different from other dresses. The problem is the sizing. I pretty typically wear a 16W in dresses from RtR and this dress was easily a size 20W. There was no salvaginging it with a sweater. I recommend you rent IF you know your size and then go at least one to two sizes down.

This dress is great for busty girls. It ended up being much too big for me in the waist and bust. But it was quite pretty!

LARGE. Size down at least 1... if not two. I would order in the sizes lower than you normally wear.
