Thick material and great color. Does show the girls. I'm glad I took the advice of the other reviews and sized down. I ordered one and two sizes down for my size and back up size and ended up in the size 8 and honestly the top was just a tad big at the V in front I wouldn't have minded trying on the 6. Very comfortable dress. I wore with a bright fuchsia jewel tone scarf for church ceremony.

I am really glad I read the reviews before ordering. This dress runs large. I ordered a size 10 and 4 and was shocked when the 4 fit! I felt really pretty in the dress! It was perfect for a Christmas wedding. I would highly recommend, just make sure you order a smaller size than what you are used to.

The dress does run large I normally wear at 6 and I wore the 4 and even it was a little big on me. However, you couldn't tell by looking. It was very comfortable to wear and forgiving after drinks and food.

I'm a red head, so I wanted to wear a green dress. I got lots of compliments all night, and the dress was extremely comfortable. I got the same dress in red as a back up but both the red dresses had damage around the neckline so I went with the green. I usually wear a size 8 but due to the reviews I ordered a 6 and a 4. The 6 became unavailable but thankfully the 4 fit great. I got to wear a regular bra and no spanx were necessary! I took off one star because the petal bust line did not lie smoothly. There is a piece of metal sewn into the dress that is supposed to help it lie flat but there is also a liner so it sort of turned inside out. I could have used style tape, but it wasn't super noticeable so I just left it. I wish I had had a skinny silver belt to jazz it up a bit and accent my waist but I still thought the was beautiful without it. Another great experience!

This dress was fantastic! I am a 12 sometimes 14. The 12 was almost too big on me, and probably would have been had I not worn a push-up bra (I'm a 36C). The fabric was heavy enough to smooth out bumps, but was breathable and not too heavy to dance in. I was able to wear a bra with straps, which is always nice! My sister is a couple inches shorter than me and is a size 8. She tried on the 10 for comparison, and it overwhelmed her frame a little, and not just because it was a little big. Ladies under 5'7 be warned.

•PROS: Perfect fit for a size 4. I'm usually wearing size 8/10 on regular dresses. So whoever's idea it was to run large and make me feel petite, I'm with it. •CONS: Every girl/mom needs a pocket or two. There were no pockets. That's all. :-)

This dress made me feel like a million bucks!! Loved the color and I had worn it before in the navy blue so I knew the 10 was my size. It runs a bigger, and knowing this ahead of time I went with the 10. The arm holes were a tad snug for me, but still did the job! You can wear it with a regular bra and it is very flattering!

This dress does run big, I rented and wore the 4 because the 2 was not available. I pined the straps to my bra in the back to keep them from falling. I loved the cut of the neckline and waist, so flattering! And you can wear most regular bras with it!

This dress is extremely comfortable and not as short as it looks. It runs a bit big so I would definitely get either one or two sizes below your normal size. The coverage of the dress is great as well. It covers your bra completely so you won't have to worry about wearing a strapless or no bra. The material is really thick and just super comfy. I would definitely wear this again and highly recommend it.

This dress runs huge!!!!!! I normally wear either an 8 or a 10 and I was comfortable in a 4. If I could have rented a 2 I probably would have worn that instead as the 4 was still slightly loose. The dress was extremely flattering, hugs natural waist, flares out a bit around hips for a slight bell shape. I have a larger bust and the dress still felt slightly large in this area. I was able to wear a regular bra and safety pin the straps to my bra straps to keep them from falling off. I wore this for a Harry Potter Yule Ball themed Winter Formal and it was the perfect green for my house Slytherin. I wanted to keep this dress so badly when my event was over it was a very comfy, very flattering dress.

Glad I read the reviews about it running large-I wore the ten and could have used an 8. Because it was a little big I had to pull the straps up a few times during the evening. However the fabric was really nice and it was very comfy! Also, so happy I was able to wear a normal bra with it! Overall a great first experience with RTR.

The dress definitely runs large - I ordered a 12 and then wound up buying a back up dress just in case because I was so nervous about the fit. The 12 fit perfectly! The material is thick which makes it very flattering, but it wasn't hot or heavy. The chest portion definitely runs large - I wear a 38DDD and the dress fit nicely, but moving my arms a certain way resulted in some gaping. I would definitely order this dress again!

I've now rented this dress in two different colors because it is so amazing. It definitely runs large, as I wore a 10 and could have easily fit into an 8. It's a bit low cut, but you can wear a normal bra, so it's not an issue for us busty females. The material is great, thick but not uncomfortable for a summer wedding, and the dress is sexy yet classy. You will not be disappointed.

Great dress! It's super comfortable and stretchy. It runs quiet large. I am a 36D so I was a little worried about the sweetheart neckline, but it didn't show too much. I'm 5'3" and it was a great length. It rained while we were at the wedding and the dress did really well in the rain. It dried quickly and you couldn't tell at all. I have a short waste and love handles so it accentuated my waste and the pleats made it look very full on the bottom, which I wasn't expecting. It looked a little more full than I would have liked, but overall this was a great dress! I would definitely recommend it.

Tall and suspicious of this kind of dress because it will make you look like a cupcake ? Fear not! Somehow, somewhere, Slate & Willow got it right. This dress is cute as hell, fits well (although runs a bit big so size down for sure), and would work for farm weddings and nights out alike. Full disclosure: I did not wear this dress but my lovely friend, pictured here, who is 6 feet tall, wore it and loved it and it looked smashing on her.

I don't remember the last time I felt so amazing and confident. I normally wear a 12-16 depending on the brand. I ordered the 10 and 12 in this and ended up in the 10 for the night. It was long enough to be appropriate but short enough to be fun and flirty. I didn't take enough pictures that night and that's the only regret. I received a million compliments that night and was walking on cloud nine. I don't buy a lot of dresses I can't wouldn't wear to work (hence renting this one) but I will definitely be purchasing this dress.

The fit was great for my large chest. I think that the detail on the neckline could have been a little flatter, but I think that has to do with the fact that I went a size down for my waist but still had to fit the girls in. I really loved this dress. I'd even rent again!

This dress is wonderful. It's a thick, cushy material that is so comfortable. It hangs beautifully and is so fun to dance in. Not for the faint of heart because it does show a LOT of cleavage but it's still very classy. It hit me just above the knee. I felt like it was a tiny bit big in the waist but the top fit fine. I wouldn't be surprised if I rent this again!

I usually wear a size 10 and this ran a little big. I was able to slip it on without having to unzip it. It showed the perfect amount of cleavage to where it was classy and not overbearing. I loved this dress!

There is great stretch in the fabric so we recommend sizing down for your backup. This item can be worn with a standard bra if necessary. The waist is fitted with zipper support in the back. In addition, this dress was a great mid thigh length with heels on!
