I normally wear a size 6, but that was not available so I sized up to an 8. The dress was very comfortable. To fit perfectly, I probably could have worn a 6. I was concerned that the halter may gap at the chest, it didn't, but I did have fashion tape on hand if needed. The dress did come past my knees (I'm 5'5" so I was surprised). One thing to note...you need to have great posture and stand straight otherwise just below the chest there is a weird fold (see photo). The color is very nice. I was a little concerned wearing red to a June wedding, but it was a nice red, on the darker side. I would rent this dress again! I rented the necklace to wear with the dress - very happy with it.

Perfect for an outdoor summer wedding. Fit well and I felt great! The fabric was sturdy and had some give to it.

Fit is true to size - I am normally an 8/10 and wore the 12 at 16 weeks pregnant. Comfortable and great length for taller ladies

I ended up going with the size up (size 6) to give myself a little wiggle room to dance in and it was perfect because it still gave me a nice shape without being snug tight. For reference I usually wear a 2/4 in The Loft dresses. I got a ton of compliments and I felt like a star.

This dress was perfect for a company christmas party. It fit like a glove. I usually wear a size 6 (and could have), but chose an 8 because I didn't want it clinging to me. Perfect fit. It was knee length, I could dance in it and move freely. I would rent over and over for sure

I'm 5'6 and 155lbs. I wore the size 12 because I have wide hips and there's not very much give in the fabric, I'm normally a 10 and the 10 fit but was a little snug in the hips. The dress reached right to the middle of my knees. I got so many complements on it! I absolutely loved it!!

This dress was wonderful and fit so well! I got soooooo many compliment from my friends at the wedding and from my friends through social media when I posted a picture with the bride! It is fitted throughout and is slightly stretchy so when I was dancing I could "drop it low" without feeling like I couldn't move. It's a little thicker which was nice for a winter wedding, but not so much as to cause you to overheat. I was worried about the top making my shoulders look really big but I think it all looked great! Spanx would be nice to have but not necessary. I would definitely rent this dress again! I wore a size 10 and I'm a 34DD

Pros: Color, Soft Material, Non-constricting yet form fitting and flattering. Length was perfect - very appropriate while still looking young. I got a million compliments because I always always wear black and thankful this color red didn’t look too much like a fire engine truck :) Cons - runs a little small, glad I ordered a size up - made it easier to move and walk in while still mainting shape. Can’t think of any other cons besides having to return it!!

Loved this rental. I wore the size 4 as the biggest portion of myself is the bottom half. It was slightly less fitted on top but it still looked great. Length is always an issue since I'm 5"2' but this dress was the perfect length.

THANK YOU CUSTOMER SERVICE: I'm an aspiring athlete and my body composition has changed drastically from the last time I had to wear a dress. I originally ordered an 8 with the 10 as a backup, but was really nervous about fit—so I called it in! Customer service was really helpful (we bonded over our love of Primark lol—I'm a primark jean 6/8 US) Thank God I did, because I ended up ordering and wearing the back up, size 6. QUALITY: The zipper was a bit worn, but I can understand why with how great this dress is! Fabric was thick, had some give, in bright lighting it'll show the outlines of any undergarments. FIT: I'm 5'4" and it landed just below the knee. I have an almost nonexistent bust, but large chest measurements—and it was tight on my chest. I have rather prominent traps, so the shoulder straps dug in a bit, but I was able to show off my new arms and tattoos in a conservative way. PAIR IT WITH: a sticky bra, seamless/lace/thong underwear, nude accessories, and gold jewelry. LOVE IT: Absolutely adore this dress and would highly recommend calling customer service if you're nervous about sizing.

There was an endless supply of compliments and it was a very classy dress for the Catholic wedding I attended. It was not too terribly dressy but not too casual. I love it and HIGHLY recommend this dress.

I rented this for a wedding, it was form fitting and comfortable. The fabric hugs you but also has give. It is great for dancing!

The 4 was a tad tight around the hips and thighs but a 6 wasn't available so I just went with it. Gorgeous dress with the right amount of stretch and the perfect bright red color. This was my first Rent a Runway rental and I was so pleased with the process. I will definitely rent from them again!

I wore this dress to a summer wedding in 95 degree heat, and it held up very well! Awesome neckline, and very stretchy (but flattering) material. I danced all night! I think the color would be great for fall as well! 5 stars!

I loved this dress so much! I am very very pear shaped and it accommodated all of my lower-half curves while still fitting my torso. The material was high quality, stretchy and hid most lines from undergarments, etc. I would rent this dress again in a heartbeat!!

I prefer dresses to hit above the knee and this just hits below. It ran a little long for my 5'4'' frame. It's a beautiful bright red color.

Great dress, fit well, thicker material, and very nice color. Beware if you run hot and sweat you will see the sweat. That is why the first dress I got in my size had a stain. The entire back was covered in sweat marks. I had to wear the 8 and it did the same thing only under my chest. I had sweat marks almost immediately. Do not wear this dress if you are dancing, that was my mistake!

Super flattering !! The dress hit right at the knee, and snug but not uncomfortably tight at the waist and legs. Was a little loose around armpits but not horrible. You will need a strapless bra since it's halter neck. This dress got so many compliments and I recommend it for a simple yet formal dress!
