I normally where a size 12 jeans, but I'm bigger on top because I'm busty and have a larger back and stomach, so I wear a 1X top or 14/16 top. I wore a 0X dress. The dress is stretch fabric. I have rather large arms on top, so when I saw the lace I was concerned. But he lace is also stretchy so I was presently surprised when nothing was pulling. I could cross my arms and it wasn't tight on my back. I thought it would be too short because I wasn't wearing stockings, but it didn't ride up at all. If you are larger on the bottom, it may ride up. Over all I was very happy. I'm very busty (40F) so there was some cleavage, but I'm ok with that. You could wear a bra with straps and it wasn't showing. I received many compliments on the dress and the color. Simple earrings and diamond drop necklace to not take away from he dress. I did put on a bracelet, but I took it off because it was pulling on the lace.

I agonized over this dress. I really loved the photos of it, but it was only available in 1X. I am pear-shaped, and I was concerned that it would fit fine on top but look like a sausage casing on bottom. I was pleasantly surprised. With Spanx under it, it fit perfectly! It skimmed in all the right places and hid all the wrong places. I was also concerned that the lace sleeves might itch, but they didn't. The dress is stretchy and gives, so I was comfortable in it all night. The cleavage was reasonable for a Catholic school prom. (I'm a 40 C.) :) I got so many compliments from students and parents alike!

I rented both a 1X & 2X. Tried the 1X & it fit perfectly! I'm top heavy & always run into the problem of clothes not fitting because it. The dress is stretching & very comfortable. I loved it & will rent it again <3

I think it was an awesome dress! I didn't have to go with the bigger free size! It was conservative enough for the catholic church ceremony and comfortable and sexy enough for the reception! The sweetheart neckline DEF showed off just enough "assets" without looking trashy! The dress is form fitting in the stomach area and hugs the right curves so even some spanx can help a lot too! this was my very first time using rtr so i'll def be back! the whole process is quite simple!

I wore this to a baby shower and just loved how super comfortable this dress is. No wrinkles, no worry! The fit is very flattering (I think) if you have a full bust and derrière (and I do!). Appreciative with the length also - what can I say, I like that classic look. I ordered this dress to wear to an evening wedding. The dress is simply beautiful, especially the lace sleeves. It is also very comfortable to wear! I received so many compliments I couldn't keep track. The only issue was that the top was a little big on me. I was sad to have to return it but I will definitely rent again!

this dress dan big. I got the 3x and 2x however the 2x was to tigh over the arms and middle but the 3x was too big over my bust area. I got this dress last minute and should have worn spanx with it. It does cling in the middle and would look best if you had something on underneth to smooth all the areas. It was my first time renting and I got lots of compliments on the dress. RTR made ordering, sending it back and shipping very easy. Will recommend and rent from them again.

Color is gorgeous! Fit is as expected with enough room for my full bust. Length was just right...sexy but not too short. Loved it!!!

I felt over exposed in the bust area. A trusted family member told me the dress looked fine so I wore it. I received many compliments on the dress even though I felt very self conscious. Sleeves were just a little short for my comfort but again others said it looked great.

Great fabric with stretch that allowed for movement. Love the color and although it did rub a bit at the underarms it didn't create an overly uncomfortable experience. Would rent again!

The fit was perfect, the dress has some stretch to it so it moved with me when I was dancing. Only downside was the lace on the sleeves made my arms itch a bit. It was flattering, and looked classy; I’d definitely rent this again!

Fit was overall wonderful, although it was a tad loose in the chest area (I'm a 42DD). I could have probably worn a 0X and the material would have been forgiving enough throughout AND been a little snugger for the ladies. Overall got lots of compliments and felt pretty great!

I'm normally a size 10 to 12 (depends on the material) and I wore an x0. I never bothered trying on the x1. I fell in love with the color of the dress and it looked perfect with nude stockings (for the winter) and my perfect pumps. I'll miss the dress.

I did wear spanx and hose. It was more exposure on my chest than I was totally comfortable with but it was fine for the occasion. I got several compliments! It is a brighter purple than I imagined.

This dress was sent as a replacement. The customer service rep who helped me was helpful and understood my needs. Although I didn't love how it fit, I received so many compliments at the party. I only wish they had the 2X available, I probably would of felt more comfortable. The fabric is a little clingy but, it's a great dress.

I lost 70 ponds and was unsure of my size. The 14 fit but the 16 was perfect. Someone said I looked like a movie star! I had many compliments. This is a very pretty dress. I felt very beautiful and comfortable wearing this dress. The material is stretchy but not flimsy. It had nice body and moved with me in a fluid way. It came just above my knee and showed some cleavage. Very satisfied with every part of this experience. I didn't take any good pictures but next rental I will get a photo. The fit was nice I ended up using the 1X since it was so clingy. The top was a little big on me (even though I'm a larger bust than usual right now.) I wish I brought double sided tape so I needed to keep adjusting. I had a shaper on to smooth out a bit.

This was my first time using RTR. I was so pleased with every aspect, the dress fit perfectly. I found all the reviews to be the most beneficial part. I chose the 2X based on a review, and it was the perfect choice. I was worried that my expectations were too high, but they were actually exceeded.. This dress was SUPER comfortable and flattering. I got several compliments throughout the night. I was second guessing the longer sleeves, however, being on the water, the air was cool, and I was not forced to wear my husbands jacket. The only issue I had was that my bra straps(in the front) were showing a little, but I used a little double stick tape and it was perfect!

I wore this dress for my bridal shower and have never felt so beautiful! I absolutely loved the fit even though I had to wear the bigger of the two and I normally wear a 1X. It was elegant and just beyond words! I got so many compliments and am still getting them weeks later!

Chose to wear the larger size for comfort however it was too big. Had to keep readjusting and covering bra. Love rent the run way and most likely will rent this one again.

Although I ultimately went with another dress for my event, this was a very close runner-up. It's a true indigo color, not navy or blue, and was very comfortable. I ordered the 2X, and felt it was true-to size. Loved the neckline, makes quite the impact, although I would recommend dress tape so as to avoid a wardrobe malfunction. For reference, my measurements are 48-41-52, and at 5'8', this dress hit me at mid-knee.

Loved how comfortable this dress was. Sometimes I have a hard time with short dresses because my large size bottom makes them much shorter than they are intended to be! HOWEVER, this dress was a great length. My only complaint is that I found it to be a bit roomier than i like in the chest. Otherwise, perfect.

I did not wear the dress. My advice would be to order your size and the next size up. Fashion tape for the neckline would have been needed to keep the upper bodice from showing my strapless bra. It is a beautiful dress. The color is gorgeous. I just felt awkward about the neckline, but others may like it better than me.

The dress was beautiful, just as shown on the RTR website. Fabric and fit, very comfortable. Once on the dress fit like a glove, however I just didn't like the way if looked on me. There is no "forgiveness" in coverage for any problem areas, which on me, is my stomach. I f you are a "true" hourglass figure, this dress would look amazing on you!

I went to my cousin's wedding in this, and felt beautiful! I was worried that I would get too warm and would feel itchy with the long lace sleeves, but I was totally comfortable all night long! It's a little low cut in the deepest part of the v neck, but the ladies weren't too exposed or were indecent by any stretch of the imagination. I felt pretty and comfortable - what more can you ask for??

I LOVED this dress! It was so comfortable. I received compliments all night long. I was not sure how the lace on the arms would read - sometimes lacy arms can look bigger, but this was perfect! The dress for this wedding was "festive cocktail," and this dress could not have fit that description more perfectly!
