This dress does run small - a full size. The bodice around the ribs is what is tight. It tended to fall down a bit even though it was snug. There is no give. It is stunning, however and I have never gotten more compliments! Beautiful fabric, great length. I am 5'8 and I needed to wear heels with it to keep it off the ground.

It was a tight fit around my upper rib cage. I am broader in my ribs then my hips so it was a tight fit but the good thing is with a strapless dress This did not ride down at all it stayed out the whole night.

Show stopper in this high low. The color is super vibrant (more purple less pink). A little tight at the top but great for me with a bigger top. Compliments ALL night long- so much fun! If you do not have the chest to fill I️t up I️ would suggest going down a size to comfortably keep the dress up

I received more compliments on this dress than probably any other dress I can remember. The fuschia/azalea color is a great four-season color and (I think) universally flattering; the high-low hem makes it great for more petite frames and easier to walk in/a little less formal than a full gown. Fabric: high quality, great color. Really shines once you've hit it with an iron to make it look perfect. Fit: Great length for my 5'4" frame - the longer back hem was about an inch above the ground in 1.5" heels. The bust definitely runs small - I usually wear a 0 or 2 and have a small (34A/32B) bust, and was glad I went with the 2 which was super flattering in the bust and waist. Waist flared at just the right point and flowy nature of the dress made it comfortable. This dress would also dress up or down well. I kept shoes and accessories simple because the event was black tie optional; for full-on black tie, it would look great with fancier shoes and a statement necklace. Looks best with metallic accessories - my gold heels were perfect and silver would have worked well too.

This dress is a great color and fabric and super comfortable to wear for extended time periods. I tried it on in the store and was really glad I rented the Kate Spade NY Uptown necklace to pair with it. It needed a little bling, right? It is tight through the bodice, and it runs a bit small, so I ended up wearing a size up from my typical RTR size. Were there pockets? Who cares?! WHY is that a thing with dresses? Carry a handbag, ladies. </rant> I am 5'2" and the train just barely grazed the ground with my 3-ish inch heels. This wasn't a problem for me, only my friend who kept stepping on my train when she walked down stairs behind me. Perfect dress for a fun summer wedding and after party!

I ordered a 12 and the back up size 14. I was devastated when neither fit. I went to the NYC flagship store and a sales rep advised me that this dress runs small and I can say that this an understatement. Besides that minor hiccup the dress was amazing. I did wear a strapless bra because I did not want to keep holding the dress up. I love the way the dress falls and I got many compliments all night.

Fit is true to size. I'm a 32DD and didn't have to wear a bra and it stayed put through all the dancing! For some reason my profile never saves my size info, but I'm 5'4 and about 125lbs, normally a 2-4.

True size 0. Great length with 3 1/2 inch heals. A little small in the bust but that is always a problem for me and was not too uncomfortable. Thank you RTR!

Color was bright and beautiful, the dress was lightweight. I got tons of compliments the whole night. It is a little small in the chest but comfortable. I would recommend to anyone, felt like a superstar the whole night!

I wore this dress to a party for the democratic national convention. The dress is very light weight and flows nicely when you walk. I received compliments all night. I did take other reviewer's advice and sized up for my extra dress and I'm so glad I did the size 12 was very tight in the bust. This was my first experience with rent the runway and I must say it was very seamless. I will definitely be renting from this sight again.

This dress was an absolute dream! I received compliments all night long, and I absolutely loved the color, style, & fit which rarely happens for me! I am 5'6 at 130 lbs. I have an hourglass shape that is also athletic (usually wear size 4 or 27 jeans). I hesitate to rent/purchase any outfit that I can't try on first because I almost always have a problem with fit throughout the waist & lower back. I shy away from strapless & deep V's due to a fuller bust (32D). But, this dress was a great fit. I felt like I walked out of an episode of Sex And The City. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to make an entrance!

This dress was really beautiful! The color is stunning in person and in photos. My husband complimented the way it swept behind me as I walked and my nieces thought I looked like a princess. Even the bride demented to know where I was "shopping". I felt great all night and would definitely recommend this dress to anyone curvy/hourglass shaped (I'm 41, 35, 45). I contacted the RTR team via email before ordering after ordering a different size in March that didn't fit and they suggested getting a 14 with a 16 as the backup. The 14 fit but the 16 gave me a little extra wiggle room.

This dress was perfect for the event. Exactly what the description states and the color is more beautiful in person. Didn't have to wear a bra since it was tighter on top. I would rent again.

This dress is beyond perfect. The color is gorgeous and is a showstopper. I received compliments all night long! With the dress being short in the front and long in the back, it makes it perfect for a night of swirling around on the dance floor. The top part of the dress is very tight but was not an issue for me. I LOVE this dress!

This dress ran small so I was glad I got a bigger back up size. It was a hit and is flattering for my mom pooch I developed after having a baby.

The fit is very small. If you are bustier, you can probably forget it with this dress. I am normally a size 2/4 but had to go with the 6 on this one to get the zipper up in the back. So definitely size up. Other than that I loved this dress. I will probably rent it again in the future. I had random strangers coming up to me all night telling me how much they loved it and the color is seriously amazing in person!

In love with this gorgeous hot pink high low style by our in house designer Slate & Willow. Running on the smaller side, you definitely want to size up for your back up. This style should be worn with a strapless bra, or without a bra since there is boning. It is very fitted in the bust and natural waist and loose throughout the hips. Pair with chandelier earrings and strappy heels for your next formal event!

The fit of this dress was VERY tight/small- it was a little tricky to zip.. I usually wear a 2, but I was lucky enough to squeeze into the 4. I would recommend going up 1 or even 2 sizes! Other than that, the dress was amazing. I loved the high/low cut, and had a slight "gown" feeling to it (which made it very fun to dance in!). The color was absolutely stunning. I was receiving compliments all night!

Loved the color of the dress but the sizing is really weird on this. The 4 was a tad too tight but the 6 I would've been pulling up all night. I have a small chest so I skipped the bra entirely. I went with the 4 just to make sure the dress would stay up the whole time. Overall it was a great dress and had a lot of compliments but beware if you are in between sizing.

The dress runs very small but once you get the right size it looks great! I went two sizes bigger than my normal dress size. I loved the fitted top and the skirt flowed so nicely when I danced.

I felt like Carrie Bradshaw in this dress! As all the review say, this dress runs small and is not for busty women. I wear a 34B and at a typical store I am a Size 4 Dress (Size 6 Pant). I ordered a 6 and 8, ended up wearing the 8, which was still tight on my ribcage, pushing the ladies up, especially after a big meal! However, I received a lot of compliments. The color is stunning, and the hi-lo hem is a lot of fun.

The fit of this dress is small! I saw a couple reviews saying "size up" but I think a size 2 size up piece of advice equals size up x2 (or 3) as you go up in sizes. I'm not very vain, I'm definitely a 12 in non designer dresses, but the 14 in this didn't even come close! I didn't have enough time to exchange, but I wished I had. The dress material and color is just as gorgeous as you think it will be!

It was a nice dress. Definitely would have worn if I was not blessed with a chest. When the other girls on here say it's not meant for a larger rack, they aren't joking. The fabric was nice, the color was beautiful. The strapless part was one of the saddest strapless bodices I've ever seen. No boning. No support. Nothing. So if you're busty and think, "Hmm... maybe it will work if I don't wear a bra." It won't. I'd even go so far to say that if it's COLD outside... People might know you're cold. That's how thin the bodice is. I typically wear an 8-10 (curvy figure) but I tried even a 12 in this dress and it wouldn't zip past the chest. I don't think the 14 would have, either - especially if I had to wear a strapless bra. I'm going out to buy a dress tonight for our event in two days. I didn't receive it before 3 to overnight a dress. I'd still recommend RTR but next time I will listen more closely to reviews.

There is zero give in this dress - I couldn't get it to zip past my bust. Luckily, I had a back-up dress because there was no way I could wear this one.
