The dress fit perfectly. I am wearing 4 inch heels in the photo. Ended up having to wear 2 inch wedges for the function, as it was outdoors and it had rained, and the dress dragged a bit on the ground. I usually see a dress in a picture or in the store and love it, then it looks awful on me. This one looked great.

The slit in the front made for a fun and flirty look! I'm 5'9" and the length was great even with heels!

This dress fit me like a glove! I sometimes have trouble because of my broad shoulders and big ribs so depending on the dress I range between 6/8. I didn't have any problem at all in the 6 and felt comfortable in it all night. I received so many lovely comments on it and felt so classy! I would highly suggest renting it!

This was my first experience with RTR and it definitely won't be my last! This dress was SO comfortable- the material was stretchy and the color was a great alternative to black. I felt that it ran true to size and the length was perfect. I loved the short underlay- it made the dress formal but fun. Would definitely recommend!

I absolutely loved this dress! I loved the color, the material, and the style. I am 5'9 and wore heels so I got a size 4 Long and it fit perfectly. My only complaint about the dress was that I almost felt like it had a long train so it made sitting down a bit difficult. But other than that it was stunning and I would wear it again in a heartbeat!!!

I wore this to take my daughter to see The Nutcracker: It was her first experience with the theatre and I wanted to do it right! The dress fit perfectly other than the length. I had to hold it up "princess" style while walking but it really wasn't a bother. If I were going to an event that included dancing, I would definitely go with the petite. I received many many compliments from complete strangers. The fabric was silky smooth and comfortable. I included a picture of the fabric because the color was so beautiful! I wore this for my husband's battalion ball. I felt like the most elegant one there! Perfect amount of modesty, and a dramatic show of leg whenever I walked! It felt like I had wings, I wish I could purchase this for future events. I rented the 4P and the 6R. I could've used the 4P, but my breasts were squeezed in there too tightly. I was pleasantly surprised to find this dress's length was perfect with the "Sky High Swedish Hasbeens" clogs which I wore. Definitely recommend!

This dress fit very well and is true to size.

Loved the overlay skirt that gave the effect of wearing a floor length gown, but having the shorter skirt underneath made it fun and easy to dance in! Fits true to size.. I could have worn the 4 or 6, but went with the 4. Bustier women should size up as the top is pretty tight.

Navy blue was different, classic but stylish and the slit was a nice feature. Great rich material.

I had to go to their Manhattan store to exchange a dress that didn't fit. I was getting very anxious that I wouldn't find a dress that would fit. I normally wear a size 6, but went up to a size 12 because I was 8 months pregnant. This dress was amazing the minute I put it on. I love the back zipper (side zippers are the bain of my existence) and because of the miniskirt underneath the long skirt it really looked sleek and sexy. And in certain angles I didn't even look pregnant. I got compliments all night!

Ran a bit long - wore 5 inch heels ans the dress still hit the floor. Fabric was a bit warm for a summer wedding but it was well worth it for rhe reaction i received. Every single woman at the wedding made a point to come find me and tell me how beautiful it was. Felt like a princess!

The dress fit perfectly and the material is so luxe! If you're shorter rent the "petite" to avoid stumbling over your dress. The material easily wrinkles. But overall a great rental! I got so many compliments that I hate to part with this piece.

RTR notified me via email my original ordered dress was returned damage, so I scrambled for another choice as I had only a few days away until event. I couldn't be happier as my backup choice turned out to be perfect! The amount of compliments I received during the night were endless and I truly felt like a million dollars. I highly recommend this dress no doubt it won't disappoint.

This dress was the back up of the back up of the back up. Unfortunately first three styles did not work out due to the sizing/fitting issues. I am between 4/6 and ended up wearing 4. I'd say the dress runs true to the size. At 5'6", while wearing medium heels, this length was perfect. Overall fit was quite flattering. The dress was conservative, event appropriate, with an edge. The material was not too thick and not too stiff, meaning it did not get too hot in the dress and there was no any kind of discomfort. I moved freely, without being constricted in any way. The inner skirt has a small amount of stretch to it as well. The length of the inner skirt was perfect, and allowed me to show off my legs while maintaining decorum and professionalism with the outer skirt's natural flow. This dress is very flattering to the figure. Classy color, looks very at home among people in dress blue uniform. The quality of the dress is great, the seams are very well done and it was worth the wait for this one to arrive. Most certainly I will order this dress again.

I had originally rented a different navy dress to wear as a bridesmaid for a wedding. RTR emailed me days before takeoff that my original dress was no longer available. I scrambled to find something in my size and this dress was one of the few that was left, and it was... FABULOUS!!!! Even better than my original! I could not be happier with the fit of the dress, you would have thought it was tailored for me! I got the 4R, and wore 4in heels. The long part touched the floor perfectly. The fabric is a thick pressed stretch satin and fit like a glove! I have a larger chest (32DDD) and I wore a regular just fine and you couldn't see the lines. I am going to go purchase this dress so I can wear it again and again! I'll add more photos when the wedding photos come back!

I wore this dress to prom and it was perfect!! I got compliments all night, "perfect and classy". The night ended up being close to 90 degrees, and I wasn't over heating at all which many other girls were in their dresses. The open skirt makes it easy to move in and it's just so fun to wear. The dress is flattering and beautiful. I cannot put how much I love this dress into words. I LOVED IT!!

This was my first time using this site and I must say, the customer service I received; not only from the in-store associates, but from the customer call center was absolutely phenomenal! This dress is prefect for someone who is attending a toned down black tie wedding, and what I mean by that is; if you’re not trying to overdo it; this dress gets the job done. The inner skirt is tight enough to give you have a decent looking figure, while the outside maxi skirt (these two skirts cannot be separated) takes cares care of any unwanted attention around the bum. I loved, loved, loved this dress and recommend it, to chesty woman who dress conservative.

The perfect gown for a black tie affair or a prom! The navy blue of this dress really makes it stand out for any other long black gown. I especially love the cut out down the center that makes the dress appear like a high low style. A plus about this dress is that you can wear any standard bra with it. Pair this dress with a neutral heel and some gold accessories!

Very comfortable dress that was easy to move and walk in. I tried it on in store, which is why I ordered the 4L. Looking back, I would probably order the 4R because it was a bit long. No other complaints though!

This dress fit true to size and the length was perfect with heels. The dress did seem to pull a little in the chest area and I had to keep checking to make sure my bra wasn't showing. Also, be careful when walking down stairs! My toe got caught in the corners of the front of the dress a couple times. Otherwise, this dress was awesome!

The dress is beautiful in pictures but even better on. I didn't want to send it back! Tad bit of advice: go up one size if you have a larger back side or your rump sits higher up than normal. This will help give back the extra length and it won't be as fitted on your back side. The only con I can think of; it picks up everything. Dust from the car, deodorant, etc. but it does come off easily with either a tissue or wet one. :)

I am consistently a size 6 in many brands and this dress was a perfect fit. You could wear a regular bra, which was great. The navy blue is spectacular in person. The dress comes very wrinkled upon delivery and it did wrinkle a bit while wearing. It was very comfortable and was a huge hit at the elegant night-time wedding that I attended. The short skirt with open sides was a unique feature and made the dress cooler on a humid evening. I really wish I could have kept this dress! The only reason I scored it 4/5 stars was that there was a kink in the zipper which made it VERY difficult to zip up.

The dress was beautiful on and the high low in the front certainly sets it apart. It's a very elegant cut and was comfortable for the whole night. However it was extremely long! I'm 5'1" and wore 6" heels but the dress was still trailing on the ground.

The dress itself was very simple yet elegant. I got lot of compliments the whole night about it. Some of my concern though is that even though the dress fits very nicely (hugged me perfectly in the right places) the length of it seemed way too long for me, so I'm not sure how well this would work for fellow short ladies out there. I had to wear 5 inch heels just to get the bottom of the dress touching at about 1 inch on the ground and I'm normally 5 ft. 3in. I mean that wasn't really a problem because by then it just looked like a pretty train because of the way it fell with the slit in the middle, but please keep that in mind when considering this dress. The fabric also held up SO NICELY. Although its stiff, it was amazing against all the moments it was touching the little bit of ground and absolutely nothing got stuck to it. Overall, the dress was very sleek and fitting. If you're looking for something simple but with a little touch of something something, this is definitely the one. I absolutely loved it! I felt fabulous the whole night!

Rented this for a black tie wedding. Overall fit was good. Didn't care for the material it was made out of and it was pretty long even with my highest heals. Didn't end up wearing it.

Runs true to size. The 8 would have fit but was too long so I went with the 10P. Great material; modest yet fun. Highly recommend for formal work event.

Very comfortable due to the slight stretch in the fabric. I love the color, cut everything about it. The fit is extremely flattering. I have wide shoulders and the cut minimized that. I am average height and the length was perfect with high heels. The slit in the skirt keeps it modern and cool while still being a very classy, fairly conservative dress. I wore it to a debutante ball and it was perfect.

Loved the dress and the fit, my only negative comment is that I am short and the dress was a little long for me, even with 4" heels.

It's perfect for formal event, simple and elegant but not too fancy. The only thing is the length is too long and I did not wear it because I need to move around easily after the formal event I attended. If you are taller than 5'4" and you have a pair of 5" high heel, just rent it and you won't regret.

The dress fit true to size. The satin is extremely firm and will smoothed you out in all of the right places. It looks like a full length gown but when you walk it gives a sexy front peek of your legs. Would absolutely rent this dress again.
