I wasn't trusting the reviews that say you don't need a bra, but it's totally true! The internal structure of the dress is great, never felt the need to adjust it. Only issue is I noticed was some small holes in the train. Looks like someone was wearing heels and punctured it :(

Holy cow, I cannot say enough good things about this dress! It runs a little small, as I'm generally a size 0 in dresses, and the 2 fit perfectly. Also, I'm smaller busted at 32B, and this was perfect. The only problem was that the top/front of the dress rolled down a little but not really a big deal at all. I wore this dress in Cabo for my birthday and I got endless compliments! It was lightweight and easy to wear with some tall wedges (since I purchased this dress, I did alter it about an inch, and I wore 5" wedges). I even got an Instagram compliment from an established Miami fashion blogger, so I guess this was a win!

I wore this to a wedding at a winery. Got SO many complements on it and it was comfortable enough to dance in all night!

I got this dress for my maternity shoot and it was so perfect! I was worried about sizing, I'm normally a 6 and ordered a size 8. It didn't quite zip up in the back but was you couldn't tell from the pictures. I think the 6 would have fit me perfectly if I hadn't been pregnant. It's really a beautiful and unique dress that will be a head turner and get you a lot of compliments!

Great dress! Curvy girls, give this one a second look. No bra needed. Definitely size up (one size if you are an hourglass shape). Many complements on this one and felt amazing.

definitely NO give in the bust. had to return the size 6 and get an 8 overnighted as I could not zip the 6. Otherwise - awesome dress. I felt great and received a lot of compliments.

The compliments were constant. I rented the 8R and I am usually a 6, so it definitely runs small. I am short and the length of the back of the dress is a bit long but I managed to handle it with grace and I danced all night in it. People were always coming up to me to tell me how lovely the dress was.

i am 5'11'' and needed heels with the L. wore ~ 4'' heel, but could have gone shorter and been okay.

Felt like a princess! Beautiful color and fabric, and very easy to move in. This gown does run quite small, especially in the bust area, so we definitely recommend sizing up. There is built in support, so a bra is not necessary. At 5'8" with a small heel, the gown was the perfect length just hitting the floor, so taller women need not worry!

This fun Aqua gown from Slate and Willow will have you feeling like a summer princess. The color is absolutely stunning in person and could not be more comfortable. Running true to size, we recommend going one size up for a backup as the dress is fitted in the bust. The outer layer of chiffon offers beautiful movement in the gown and would be great for dancing. The fabric does have some stretch and comfortable room for hips. This dress is great for just about any body type, and so easy to wear. Pair with stappy heels and colorful jewelry and you will look like a summer dream!

This was my emergency back up dress because my original dress did not fit. I called RTR in a panic and they were extremely helpful and sent this dress to me overnight. The color is gorgeous! The style would not be my normal pick, I am very boring and don't venture out. However, it was fun with the extra train, very comfortable, and I received lots of compliments. I went a size up because I don't like tight fitting dresses so the 14 gave me some extra room.

The chest area definitely runs a little small and even though I was wearing heels it is still pretty long. I'd recommend wearing really high heels and going a size up just to be safe!

I have to admit that I was nervous to rent my first dress. I am hooked!!! The reviews were so helpful in choosing what size to order. The bust is definitely tight like others had written in their reviews. I would absolutely recommend sizing up. Even the size up was a bit tight BUT it stayed up all night and I never had to lift the dress up (I am usually a size 10 but chose to wear the 12). I LOVED this dress. I was so sad to return it but I realized I would never wear it again because it was such a unique and recognizable design. I was also worried that it would be shapeless but the way the draping is designed in the front gave me the perfect look. I am 5'6 and the train was perfect. I think a shorter gal may have a bit of a hard time walking in the dress.

The dress is long so wear the highest heels you can manage.

I bought this dress to own. I am 38 and petite. I normally wear a 2 or 4 depending on brand. I can get away with wearing clothes from the junior section but I hate it when things start to look to young like the dress section. If I shop in the petite section dress tend to look much too old. I bought this dress as a last hope. I went with a 6 because the reviews said the dress ran small. I ordered the 6L because that as all that was left in a 6. I had to have it taken in a bit and cut to the appropriate length but all in all I was please with the purchase and price. If you are buying to own take to a good taylor and have them run a top stitch under the top layer. This will keep the top of the dress up and stop the inside material from peeking up and you will not have to mess with it.

It wasn't bad... the color is super pretty and the design is cool. It wasn't nearly as well made (fabric quality, in particular) as the other 2 dresses I received. The difference in quality and tighter/shorter fit led me to opt instead for the "Dusty Rose High-Low" Cynthia Rowley gown I rented.

The dress runs true to size, but I couldn't wear it because there was no give for my 34ddd chest.

This fabric is very heavy and wrinkles easily. It looks much better in the pictures than it does in person.

The long flap on the back only makes your legs look good if you have a tan (in my opinion). Probably would not rent this again but would recommend it to whomever wants a comfortable waistband dress!
