Unique pattern made the dress stand out in the crowd. Sooo comfortable, and loved the skirt length - I’m 5’7” and the 14 came to my knees. I styled it with red accessories and shoes and liked how it turned out. Like others, I wore two sizes larger than my normal.

The best thing about this dress is how nicely it falls on your body (it's forgiving and flattering) and the quality of the material, which is a little thicker, and really keeps the shape of the dress. It has a lovely shimmer and the gold accents are classic and simple. The dress stands out in a sea of floral. Keep in mind, it does run small and is tight in the rib cage/waist area. So even though I am normally a 6/8 women's, I ordered the 10 - as if it were a junior size dress and all was good. I'm only 5'2" and thought the length was great and the knee. Also...pockets!

Very thick and structured material. The top of the dress is fitted (and very small) and the bottom is full. A great balance and perfect length. The colors are really rich: navy gold off white and a touch of grey. Looked great with great flats and a fitted leather jackets. Great Dress! If your on the fence about size, order up! This dress is so beautiful in person! It looks more white in the pictures but the black and gold ended up really popping in person. It does run really small though - I usually wear a 4, but after reading the reviews decided to rent the 6 and 8. Glad I did because I ended up wearing the 8. While the 6 fit (very snug), the 8 had a bit more room up top for a strapless bra, which gave me a more flattering shape. Smushed boobs? No, thanks. Perfect dress for a wedding with the pockets and skirt was fun while dancing, plus got tons of compliments. :)

Size up! I usually wear a 2 but the 4 fit perfectly. Very comfortable. I didn't have to fuss with the dress at all. The material was beautiful and the dress was extremely well made. I received several complements through the night.

I rented this dress to go to the Nutcracker Ballet in NYC. The gold allows it to be a great holiday dress when paired with a jacket & tights. I received lots of compliments. Also, it has pockets which I love! The dress may run a little small and I ended up wearing the larger size. Overall, Rent The Runway was a great experience and I'd definitely use it again.

Like a lot of other people said, it runs small. I am usually a size 8, and ended up wearing my backup size 10. And honestly, after dinner, the size 12 was sounding pretty nice! The tightest spot for me was the stitching around the lower chest area. There is NO give. I was able to wear a backless/strapless bra without a problem, and it was fun for me because I have a smaller chest, and for once, I didn't feel like there was extra room in the bust area. I went with yellow gold accessories which were perfect, and a nude heel because it was still summer time. This was a great first experience with RTR, and I can't wait to do it again!

I had read reviews saying the dress ran small and I found that to be true. I typically wear an 8. The 8 fit me, but it was super tight. The 10 allowed me to eat and breath! I'm a 32DDD, but the fabric and fit of the dress allowed me to go bra-less (SHOCK!). I probably could have worn a bra under the size 10, but it really wasn't necessary. The pockets were probably my favorite part of the dress. I have nothing negative to say about it -- I absolutely loved it! Didn't want to send it back!

I recently wore this for a rustic wedding and it was just perfect. I will warn that the waste runs insanely tight with no give. I usually wear a 4, which I quickly discovered wasn't an option and was good in the 6. but would have had to go braless and as a 34D, that's really not ideal for me. So 8 it was. I was very comfortable, no tugging up, and it has pockets! HAIL! I was pretty bummed to return this one, so will hopefully get my hands on it again in the future!

THIS DRESS HAS POCKETS!!! I love this style and the back of the dress is gorgeous! This dress runs very small, as I could hardly zip up the size 12 and I typically wear a size 10. I would definitely recommend going a size up, or two, for your back up. This dress works best for A to C cup sizes as it's very fitted at the bust. The back has some stretch but is very tight around the bust and this should be worn with a strapless bra. This dress is very fitted at the waist and the fabric has no stretch. The length was right around my kneecaps, but will be shorter if you're tall as I am only 5'2" This style would look fabulous on a Pear shape! Pair this with nude or black heels and a simple gold necklace.

I wish I could own this dress. It was incredibly comfortable and the pockets were a huge plus. The other reviews are definitely accurate that you should order a size up for your back-up. I loved how the dress accentuated my waist and was a great length even though I'm on the shorter side. The only issue that I had was that the hem of the dress was messed up, but fixable with some double sided tape. Other than that, great rental!

I was beyond comfortable all night, it had pockets, I didn't need to wear a bra and I could eat/drink all I wanted since the bottom half had some puff. I did a nude/tan heel with matching purse and gold statement necklace - it looked awesome! I highly recommend this one. Heavy material and perfect length!!

my first RTR was a success! it's true, the dress runs small, without a doubt get a size or two up. It was the prefect length with heels. I ordered 3 dresses for an Indian wedding, and this was my favorite. The top was tight enough to stay up without much adjustment, and was flattering. The lower half is a full skirt, so it has more impact than the photo shows. It also has pockets, which some women love.

This was my first time renting and the experience was amazing! I rented 3 dress for this wedding in Hickory, NC. I wore this dress to the rehearsal dinner and the after party (8hrs) The fabric was heavy, but not hot. The fit was snug in the bust area ( I'm a 36 D). No need for a bra, no room. I wore a 10, however the next size up would have been a more comfortable. It was a tight fit throughout the torso, no give and hard to zip up. I love this dress! It was perfect for my 30th birthday party. The print is so fun and unique, it was a great party dress. It definitely ran small. I typically wear a 2, and sometimes in strapless dresses a 0. The 2 fit in the waist, but was very tight in the bust - it zipped but the boning hurt and I couldn't take a deep breath. RTR shipped me a 4 the next day and it was perfect. With a slight flare in the skirt, the back detail, and pockets, you can't go wrong! I didn't want to send it back!

The strapless neckline and full skirt make this style perfect for a casual cocktail look. Running on the small side, I'd recommend sizing down. I am typically a size 2 with a 34B bust and could barely zip up the 2 in the bust. The navy blue material in the back does allow for more stretch by the zipper, but not enough for my typical size to zip, but the 4 would have been perfect! With a fitted natural waist and smaller bust this dress is best for smaller cup sizes. There is a bit of boning, allowing for you to go braless or wear a strapless if necessary. At 5'7" the length hit about mid thigh. Pair with wedges or strappy heels and gold jewelry.

This dress runs very small. I usually wear a six, but in this dress, I got a 10 as the backup size because everyone said it runs small, and I'm so glad I did. Even getting the bigger size, it was still a little tight due to the boning of the top. The good news is that you never have to worry about the top slipping, even when dancing and partying all night long. It also has pockets which are so fun. I got a lot of compliments and felt beautiful, but by the end of the night (and a few pieces of cake) I was thankful to take it off.

I ordered the 12 and 14. I ended up wearing the 14. The boning in the dress makes you want to size up. Wore it on a hot day, but still managed to stay fairly cool in the dress.

I rented this for a winter wedding (that ended up being unseasonably warm) and needed something that would work well with the black and gold wedges I had planned to wear. The 6 arrived damaged (broken zipper), which was fine because the 8 ended up fitting much better (if not even a little snug) on my 34D chest. The fabric is luxuriously thick, but does not have much give. I loved the shimmer of the gold in the graphic pattern, as well as the flounce of the skirt. All in all, it was comfortable to wear and a fun alternative to something more classic!

I ordered this as an overnight replacement dress for a dress that fit a little too small (damn you, Thanksgiving!) and made me look like I was in the ice capades. Luckily, RTR was helpful and made this dress happen. Even though it is a size larger than I typically wear, I knew it might fit a little tight based on reviews and they were right. I had to suck in my ribs! Size up at least one (or even two if you are in between sizes or busty at all). The dress was fun to dance in, but I was happy to take it off at the end of the night as the ribbing was digging in!

I usually wear size 14 but had to wear the size 16 backup dress - and even that was tight! I highly recommend sizing up!

This was my first RTR experience and overall I loved this dress. I was disappointed however, in how the top of the dress fit. I got my sizes based on previous reviewers who recommended to get your typical size and a size up based on the top being very snug. I went with a 6 and 8. The 8 was way too big on top, and the 6 was even still too loose. I ended up purchasing a strapless bra that adds 2 cup sizes but even then it was little bit too loose. No one wants a dress sliding down. My advice is that if you have a small chest like me, go with a size smaller than your regular size. However, the pockets on the dress are awesome and the shape of the dress is very flattering and comfortable.

Runs very very small if your chest is over a size 34 D ( I am 34 DD). I rented the size 8 & 10 after reading the review on how small if ran (I usually rent a size 6 & 8). I could barely get the 10 zipped over my chest and it was hard to breath. I ended up calling and getting a size 12 sent this fit perfectly. The dress was very beautiful and comfortable also had nice large pockets. I got a lot of compliments all night and it was perfect for a wedding. Just be aware of how small this dress truly runs. Only gave it a 4 instead of 5 star because of how small it ran, even after going up 2 sizes and it still being to small.

As other reviewers mentioned, this dress runs small. Definitely order a size up than your regular dress size! I was able to wear a strapless bra underneath, but it was a little difficult to zip up by myself. You could definitely go braless under this dress and not worry about being too exposed. Other than the sizing, this dress was great for the summer wedding I attended. I could dance in it and I got a lot compliments all night. What more could you want?
