I wear a 6, 36A, 5,4" - fit perfectly!! It doesnt have a lot of give, and no waving of hands over head. Im short, so the dress was short - but not too short. Perfect party dress!!!!

I usually wear a 4-6 and had to go with the 6 in this dress. I'm typically self-conscious in tighter dresses but this one fit well in the shoulders and butt and had flattering patterning across the stomach to hide food babies. It was a tad shorter than I would have liked, but not so much so that I felt that I needed to tug at it constantly. The sequins weren't as scratchy as you would think, either. Overall, a beautiful dress.

I loved wearing this dress. It was a bit snug in the hip area but overall it was perfect for my best friends wedding. Paired with a black leather jacket for the after party was perfect for an edgy look.

For me, this dress ran a slightly small so I'm glad I went with one size up. Other than that, the dress was great! Got lots of compliments throughout the night!

I added this dress to my order at the last minute. It caught my eye and I thought "why not try it on?" I'm so glad I did, it was stunning! I wore it to an Indian wedding, received many compliments and felt so comfortable and confident. The fit was perfect (would be short on taller people) and the sequins were not itchy. I would highly recommend the dress and will likely rent it again!

A tiny bit short for someone who has long legs.

This dress fit me perfectly and was so flattering. I wore it to my friend's bachelorette party in Toronto and got a ton of compliments. I recommend wearing a strapless bra with it. Pretty hard to believe that I needed a size 22 though. I have ordered sizes 16 or 18 from RTR in the past.

With this dress you can choose what look you want. For me, I wore the 0, which fit more snugly. If I had worn the 2 I would have had a more sheathlike look, so it really depends what you're going for, because both look great! One thing to note is that it's rather tight around the armpits, which could be uncomfortable at times, and I can't imagine how annoying it would be if I had more muscular arms, or a larger chest. All in all, loved this dress and it's heavy, elegant material! SO many compliments!

This dress was amazing! It looks just as good as it does online. I was concerned about the length but on me it was not too short. I was also concerned the sequins would be itchy but that wasn't a problem really either. This dress withstood some serious dancing and partying. I loved it! It was the perfect dress for the occasion.

I was so glad that I went a size up. I was very nervous even the size up might not fit, but it was perfect. It's quite short, so it might not be appropriate for something like a wedding if you have average to long legs. As others have said, it doesn't fit quite like a shift, but that ended up being fine for me. The quality of the dress was excellent--no loose sequins, hems all in order, perfectly clean. I got heaps of compliments, and I felt great in it! So glad I rented this one!

Slate and Willow is quickly becoming a favorite designer of mine on RTR. The fit was perfect and straight, just what I was looking for in a sheath dress. There were some other reviews about the sequins being a little shaffy on the arms but I didn't find it to be a problem. I was able to dance all night and was very comfortable in this dress!

I ordered a 0 and a 2. The 2 awkwardly fit. The 0 was tight but looked better.

I had rented this on a whim for a Friday night party, and I didn't end up wearing it because it was definitely fancier than I thought it would be. But I loved the dress and would definitely rent it again for another occasion. The sparkles are a great effect and it was really comfy. It also wasn't as short on me as on the model (I'm 5'6" so perhaps that should have been obvious). It also ran small so size up one.

I would definitely rent this dress again. It was sparkly and fit really well. The length wasn't too short or too long. Easy to wear (regular bra) and it doesn't need many accessories. I rented the House of Harlow Gold Textured Cut Out Cuff with it and it worked out great.

Rented for a major grand opening party (cocktail attire). The entire process was so easy and stress-free. Absolutely loved the dress, felt fun and classy--I knew from reading reviews ahead of time that it would be more fitted and not an actual shift dress. Definitely a standout piece, and I was comfortable all night (7+ hours) whether manning the guest list, giving tours or dancing the night away. Both sizes fit fine but opted for the 4 since it seemed slightly more flattering. Cannot wait to rent again. Everyone wanted to know where I got my dress so I had to tell them to try it!

Was sent this dress as an emergency back up when a dress I had on order could not be sent. I wanted a dress with some sparkle for an Oscar party and this didn't disappoint! I was initially worried that it would be too short and to young looking, but the scoop neck and back along with the cap sleeves balanced out the shortness and made it feel more comfortable. The size 2 fit perfectly and had enough give to sit and move even with the sequins. Although it was slim fitting, the texture of the sequins made me feel like I didn't need to be on stomach watch all night. Another plus was that my hair didnt get caught in the sequins which as a pleasant surprise :)

Wore this for my 10 yr reunion. I wanted something that stood out, but didn't seem over-dressed or trying too hard. This dress was very comfy to wear and very forgiving for a night full of drinks and food! I noticed the sequins rubbed a little under my arm, but I was never in pain. I forgot about it once the night got started. LOVED the dress and got lots of compliments.

I wore this dress to throw beads on a Mardi Gras float on Galveston Island and it was fabulous! I got compliments on it all night and it maintained it's beautiful shape and structure all night long after going through three bags of beads and bending and throwing them to people. This is an amazing dress for a formal event. It is elegant and formal, yet easy to dance in and fitted enough that you don't have to worry about it moving if you're walking around/dancing a lot. There is a cloth under the dress so it's not scratchy or uncomfortable at all with all of the sequins. This cloth is more fitting and the dress itself is a bit looser like it looks on the model. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this dress - it's a great rental!

I usually wear a 10 but I had to size up to the 12, the 10 was just a little too tight. It hides flaws nicely and was super comfortable to wear! I was expecting to have to wear tights because other reviews had said the dress was short but I felt comfortable without them in the 12.

This dress was probably one of the biggest outfit hits since I can remember. I wore it for a joint birthday party to celebrate mine as well as two others and I got so many compliments on it all night!! The dress was super comfortable and just made me feel so sparkly & fun. I paired it with black tights and black booties as well as the earrings seen on the model. I would definitely recommend this dress to anyone who wants to look super cute and also be comfortable all night.

I rented this dress for a 20's themed wedding and it was perfect. I got a ton of compliments and took a lot of pictures. The best part is, I got to wear an expensive dress without having to pay full price! In terms of the fit, I was between sizes. I usually wear a size 10 but wore the 12 as the 10 was a bit tight in the arms. The 12 was a bit loose, but that was better than being uncomfortable in the arm area all night. I would definitely recommend this dress to others, especially if you're going for a Gatsby vibe.

The length was a tad bit shorter than average, but that wasn't a con for the event I wore the dress to. The color was elegant and rich, it was certainly a show stopper. I paired with gold shoes, and received compliments all night. It flattered all the right places and had the perfect balance of sass and class.

I have never received more compliments on a dress than I did with this one. Despite the dress being covered in sequins, the dress was not itchy as some sequined pieces are. My only compliant was that the cap sleeves were a little snug on my arms, aside from that though the dress fit like a glove and looked great in photographs.
