The bust was comfortable, and the fit was nice, even when sitting for a couple of hours listening to speakers. It was a hot NYC day, and it actually held up well, even with a graduation robe on top. The only thing is that the cut was different from the photo, which appeared to be a fault of the system because the lovely girls at the flagship in NYC were confused also. The print is exactly the same. It was a fun dress, and great for the event.

This dress was a great summer choice for heading out to a brunch with friends. The colors are very vibrant and subtle. You will stand out especially with the top causing the pleat in the back. No additional accessories necessary, let the dress do it all.

A modern vibe to a vintage look! I loved this dress, the full skirt was so comfortable and had just the right amount of flare. It is also very fitted at the natural waist, making it figure flattering. It can be worn with a standard bra, and I recommend this dress for any cup size due to the amount of room at the bust. I'm always in between a 4 or 6, and I went for the 6 due to how fitted the waistline is. I'm only 5'1", so this dress was about tea length on me. Something to keep in mind for my fellow petite ladies! Pair this dress with simple jewelry to compliment the pretty print.

this dress was super cute. I didn't realize the top part is really a mini jacket over the tank top dress, so it's great because it gives options on how to wear it. I wore it to a summer wedding and it was perfect. The material is not stretchy at all, so be aware of your size choice.

This was a backup dress as the original dress did not fit... side note, RTR was awesome to work with to get a backup and my new dress arrived the next day by noon - great customer service! This dress fits true to size and was very comfortable to wear. It comes with a little cover to wear, but I didn't wear it as it hid my waist. Great dress!

I rented this dress for my bridal shower and loved it! It's on the longer side so it's perfect if you're tall, and the full skirt is perfect to cover any lower half parts you don't want showing. The only reason I docked it a star is because people talk about a little jacket/overlay thing, but mine didn't come with one. It still looks cute anyway!

Great dress. I was surprised that the top was separate from the dress - the dress has small straps and there is a little jacket that goes over the top. The fabric is stretchy and very forgiving. The color is prefect for summer!

I loved this dress and if I didn't post so many pictures of it on social media, I would have worn again the next day. I am 6' tall and the waist was a little short for me so I had to be careful how I stood or else I looked a little pregnant. It was super comfortable and I did wear it with the additional top. I received tons of compliments.

I ordered for the Polo Classics. I ordered a 12 & 14 but wore the 12. I might have been able to take the 10 as I'm normally a 12 but worried the dress would have been to small. The bottom is VERY roomy so wide hips or bum is no problem. The shell it comes with was not flattering on me and don't think it would be for anyone of a larger size. Also if you are pear shaped like myself the shell will look to big as it did on me (not shown in photo). I love the pockets. The back is a lower scoop neck back, which they don't show on the website. Overall love it. Very pretty you can wear it with flats or heels. It's pretty long ( I'm 5'7 if that helps)

The fit is a little large

I really liked the jacket-top-thing it brings. It made the dress church appropriate. I really like the length. I'm 5'4" and it hit a bit below the knee - almost tea-length. I still have a bit of a baby bump (5 mo postpartum) and the skirt really did a great job of hiding my bump and giving me a nice shape. 10 out of 10, would wear again.

I changed into this dress after the wedding ceremony. We had a casual venue so this dress was still dressy enough. Very forgiving dress, especially with my round tummy (need to workout!) but overall still a wonderful dress!

The fit on this is beautiful. People literally stopped me on the street to compliment. I'm 5'9", and it's tough to find something actually knee length. The little jacket was cute, but it was a 100 degree day, so I was actually happier without it - and it has a beautiful ballet neckline without it.

I rented this dress for a wedding in late July! Ceremony was outside, reception was inside. I ordered a 14 & 16, the 14 fit perfectly. I'm a true 14, 12 in Loft, that kind of thing. The material is nice, not too stiff or hott, and was forgiving to major wrinkles. (I still ran an iron over the bottom before wearing though). I LOVED the shell! I wore it for the ceremony, and most of dinner. When I started working up a sweat on the dance floor I slipped it off and it was like opening a window! I loved this dress so much that I would buy it in an instant!

Dress was a hit at a family wedding. Beautiful dress for Spring and Summer! Would definitely consider renting again. I rented a 8 and 10. The 10 ended up being damaged so it was replaced with a 12 which I didn't wear as the 8 fit perfect!

I wore this dress for my commencement ceremony. The dress arrived brand new--tags and all. I normally select dresses based on reviews but this one did not have any yet, so I took a chance anyway. I really loved this dress. It comes as two pieces, which I didn't notice before I selected it. The dress has smaller straps but you have the option to add the jacket like piece over top for thicker straps and more cover up. The colors are pretty and the dress runs true to size (maybe slightly on the larger size). I would wear this again.

This dress feels versatile - it can be a standalone sleeveless, or have the top for situations where more modesty is required. I bought it, and look forward to wearing it more next summer!

I normally wear a size 16 but the 16 seemed too large so I'm glad I ordered a size down for my backup. The dress was gorgeous and I wore it without the shawl/top thing. With the shape of my body it looked very odd. I received many compliments on the dress and I felt beautiful in it. I also loved the pockets. The dress was fun to dance it and it had plenty of room and felt comfortable through the meal and dancing.

I carry extra weight around my middle and this dress still fit me. I will say the skirt flows out and probably made me look a little bigger on the bottom, but it didn't bother me so much that I didn't want to wear it. The dress is very well made and the fabric was of a good quality. One annoying thing is that the dress did not come with the little jacket (other reviewers have had this same problem). I received the dress on Friday afternoon, immediately contacted the help center via the online chat, and the little jacket was shipped and arrived Saturday morning (the wedding was late Saturday afternoon so it worked out). They need to figure out how to ship both the dress and the jacket together!

I wore this dress without the shell. I felt that the shell made me look bigger than I wanted to but looked great with just the dress. I loved the pockets and it definitely had twirl potential.

So the most important detail of this dowdy, looks like an old lady dress even on the model, why does RTR even have this dress...is that the top is REMOVABLE!! It completely changes the look of this dress. Underneath this celibacy vest, is actually a very cute tank top style fit and flare dress. Now, I did think I might have to wear the removable vest in order to keep "the girls" in check during church but I didn't. It was totally a church appropriate, godmother dress! PLUS, it has pockets!! And the flare of the skirt is totally flattering. I'm so glad I saw this dress at the RTR store in Chicago. If I saw it on the app or website I wouldn't have even given it a second glance. Seriously RTR, update this photo without the vest! (I wore the size 4 dress, which is my usual size, I'm 5'7", 135lb, and 34C)

I got many compliments on my dress at my friend's engagement party. Fit great in the waist and I liked the length. However, I'm kinda small in the chest so the dress was a bit loose up top (even with a fully padded pushup).
